First time dining at this location. I don't plan to return. I arrived about 7 pm and the parking lot was nearly empty. This is usually telling but I gave it a shot anyway. They had no salad options. I went with the Autumn Squash soup and a water. The water wasn't available at the fountain drink station but had to be passed to the employee over the counter to get water from the back. There was a huge puddle of water in front of the fountain station and while there was a sign, it didn't appear there was much effort put into cleaning it up. The food came with small, plastic spoons with no apologies for not having proper spoons. The employees are not very pleasant and seem unmotivated. The bathroom and dining area could've used some attention as well as they weren't the cleanest. I can understand if they were busy and the place was dirty, but it was empty and there was no effort to clean the place. I saw at least 3 employees there during my visit. The ONLY highlight was the delicious soup and baguette. I happen to LOVE Autumn specialties hence the 2 stars. Although, they are probably more deserving of one.

Excellent customer service and engagement. We eat out alot and rarely experience this high quality service. It was refreshing to see the store manager, Kalay, walking around engaging with all customers and staff. Davonte took our order and treated us like family. The food was great!

This is the dirtiest Panera I have ever been in. I eat at them at least 2 time a week. This is my 2 nd stop here on my way to Ga and the first time there was a man sitting with a drink at a table with his head down who look like a worker with paint and they went over and kicked him out. There was NO one in the store but like 3 people. He was not hurting anyone. Just not called for. The girl at the register was nice. Her name way Joy. After I paid for the order the people that made it said "we are out of Cesar dressing is there another dressing you want??? Really. Give me a Greek salad. You see how it came and it was a whole. The tomato was not even sliced.

I've ordered from here a few times, usually using the drive through, but sometimes using the Panera app for delivery. (Using their app you gain rewards and can make customizations to your order.) On many occasions I've been told they don't have certain bakery items or breads, even though it's not even noon. Once I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup and it wasn't completely full and mostly broth. The soup should have been put in a cup size and charged me accordingly. I'm also confused on the whole vs half sandwich size. Sometimes when I order a whole sandwich I end up getting 4 slices of bread, the equivalent of two whole sandwiches, and other times I get one whole sandwich. When I get a half sandwich I'll get the equivalent of a whole sandwich and other times I'll get a sandwich made with one slice of bread cut in half. Consistency here with sandwich sizes needs to be addressed. (I have this problem at other locations too.) The reason for the one star is the constant inconsistency with item sizes, item availability at early time of day, and the lack of response from managers or Panera corporate when I make my issues known.

    What even are standards?

Disgusting Food and Horrendous Restaurant I hope Panera sees how abominable the state of this establishment is. In a location located not far away from a major interstate, you would think they would try to have higher standards. The staff was rude and conveniently unavailable. The food, other than the bread, was horrendous. The avocado on my chipotle sandwich wasn't even mashed. It was an entire avocado just in my sandwich. And just look at the state of their restaurant! It was filthy and disastrously vandalized. Panera used to be a quick place to snag a quality meal. Because of this location, I will think twice before ever revisiting on of their establishments anywhere, ever again.

The inside is very nice . The whole ordering process and waiting for food is very awkward. For the price of the food which is priced you'd expect at a steakhouse they should be bring the food to you . The menu makes no since . They have a pick 2 meal which you would think it mean value for your money . Not even close it's the same cost you just get half of everything . We got a lemonade a smoothie and two half sandwich's one with half soup the other with half salad and it was $40 which is insane and then they expect you to tip ??? For what I had to order and get my own food . The food was refreshing and good but was not at all fulfilling and we left hungry . If the prices were decent it wouldn't be a bad place to go and get Something different that you don't get anywhere else . The whole fast food trying to be a restaurant that cost as much as outback or longhorn isn't working .

Dining room closed. Unless you know what you want. There's no personal interaction. Doesn't seem to be all Paneras, just this one.

We…read morewere a party of four, but promptly seated upon arrival, even though they were pretty busy. The ambience is clean, cozy and dimly lit. We were one of about 7 to 8 tables present in a restaurant, with only one server working. Even then, we were promptly serviced, and didn't have to wait a long time at all for our food Altogether, we ended up ordering one order of shrimp egg rolls, one order of veggie egg rolls, one order of shrimp summer rolls, two beef and meatball pho, one combination pho, and one chicken pho. Everything was brought out piping hot, and of course, the pho herbs, condiments, and veggies were super fresh and served in abundance The eggrolls all came out hot and fresh. The wrappers were perfectly crispy on the outside, and the filling was fresh on the inside. I did not taste the summer rolls, but everyone said they were excellent. I personally had the combination pho and wish it had a little bit more meat. I would say the amount was less than at other Vietnamese restaurants, but overall it was still really delicious and filling. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the broth was perfectly seasoned. The total for the table was only $75, which I felt was reasonable for four people and the amount of food we received. Overall, a solid Vietnamese restaurant in Winston. I look forward to returning in the future.

I really wish Winston Salem had a great Banh Mi available. There are some good Pho restaurants but…read morethey don't serve Banh Mi usually and when they do it's not quite the authentic version I'm looking for. I had the Banh Mi at What Da Pho in the past and remember it was good so that's what I ordered this time. Additionally we ordered crab wontons and summer rolls. The restaurant is a little hidden but if you park in the parking structure adjacent to the restaurant it's super easy to get inside. First impressions are it's quiet- no music in the dining room, and the decor is sort of an afterthought with scotch tape holding LED lights to the walls and some Asian inspired pictures but not very well thought out. It's Ok, I'm not coming for the decor. The service is a little lacking. They are giving the bare minimum here so don't expect your server to be too friendly. The crab wontons and summer rolls arrived quickly. The crab wontons were super hot and crispy right from the deep fryer. They were filled with a delicious imitation crab and cream cheese mixture and when dipped in the sweet chili sauce they were exactly the thing I was craving. The summer rolls were equally as fresh and delicious. The filling of cold rice noodles, crisp lettuce and shrimp then dipped in the accompanying peanut sauce was just as delicious. We ordered one pork and one beef Banh Mi. The first thing I noticed was how plentiful the meat was in each one. Usually it's a light sandwich but these were very hefty in comparison to others I've had. My meat was very savory and had a very tender texture, almost like pot roast. It was also the juiciest pork I've ever had in a Banh mi. The picked vegetables were also really good but both our sandwiches were missing the jalapeno I've come to expect. My husband really enjoyed his beef one as well but we both noticed how the bread lacked that crusty flaky quality that Vietnamese baguettes normally have. This was more of a sub roll with a chewy texture and softer crust. The flavors were great, I just missed the textures I have come to expect in an authentic Banh mi. Our spot in Greensboro will still be my favorite but when I don't want to trek out that far, I can get my fix at What Da Pho.
