Overall, I'm a huge fan of Panera Bread. I love their menu selection and how broad it is. Bagels, smoothies, pastries, salads, sandwiches you name it, and they might just have it. However, I'm not sure that I like the new systems they're starting. It's almost like half table service half serve yourself. I feel guilty not leaving the food runner something for bringing me my food, but I know that they're not working for tips and that whatever I leave will be taken by the next person to sit where I was. It is nice not lined up behind a few dozen people waiting for your food also. It's just a weird situation being in between. I can see both pros and cons to that process and I'm sure that they will improve this over time, so it doesn't concern me too much. This time around I ordered online so my order would be ready on the rapid pick up shelf. I have to say I love ordering this way, it's super quick and no one to deal with. Just pop in, see the bad with your name on it and you're ready to run back out. I always order the newer kale chicken Caesar salad on the you pick two and my second choice varies. Today I got the mozzarella and tomato flat bread. I'm a little disappointed at the inconsistency between panera breads. I ordered the same flat bread on Monday at the Wayne location and it was not the same as the one I ordered today. The one in Wayne was covered in arugula. I must have had an entire container of arugula on my sandwich. Today there was less arugula, but there was less on the flat bread in general. I felt as if I was eating all bread. Also, there was fresh tomatoes and some other type of may sun-dried tomato mix as well? It was odd, but the sandwich still tasted alright. My salad on the other hand was great as always. I'll always be a panera fan, so I will give it another try. read more

I usually eat at this location all the time but I think that may change after today. I ordered my favorite, a roasted turkey avocado blt sandwich to go. I get home and I'm taking the last bite of my food and taste something stringy in my mouth. I spit the sandwich out only to discover there was a long hair in my food. To say I'm disgusted is an understatement. read more

Considering that it's a chain, I find that I enjoy it, when I am there. This one has really good tables if you want to come and do work, there are two areas that have outlets and there is a nice amount of table space to spread out. I love the green tea, it's quite amazing, and the unsweetened iced tea with the lemons they put out is awesome too. My friend and I always go here to get grading and planning done, and we are always productive and enjoy our food! She loves bbq chopped chicken salad, and I love Frontega chicken and black bean soup, although I think black bean soup is out for the summer. Oh well. read more

Came here to pick up lunch. There was no line to order but the line to actually pick up the food was very long. The staff however moved very quickly me before I could check a few email I was grabbing my bag. Would certainly return and my food was good and order was correct despite the business of the restaurant. read more

Dominick and his team are awesome! I showed up with a very large order just before the lunch hour rush and they were very accommodating. Tremendous customer service rarely found these days. read more

The renovation of this place has made it fantastic. It is your typical Panera bread, but the new layout and friendly staff makes this place great. They also will bring the food to your table if you'd like, which makes it very accommodating for those that go with their kids. read more

I like to stop here when I am in town visiting friends/family up and down Rt. 17. The good food and free wi-fi are my main draws. If I'm here early, I either get the Breakfast Power Sandwich or the Power Breakfast Egg White Bowl with Turkey. For lunch I go with the Tomato Mozzarella Panini sandwich. Really can't go wrong with those choices. The place is usually clean as are the bathrooms. read more

They keep improving Panera over and over again. i went this morning, and i see they even have tablets by cashiers so you can order yourself without waiting in line. it is awesome! if you sign up as customer, you get free things. Today i got a free bagel. apparently for the whole month of September i get one free bagel a day. what a surprise. i love this place! their coffee is always fresh. the place is always clean. i recommend panera highly for a place to have a small gathering of family and friends. read more

Ordered delivery, it never showed up and was told thirty minutes later after the driver said he was already here (at the wrong place), that my order had to be canceled. Messy delivery system. read more

I've never failed to have a great meal from this location. Awesome Mac and cheese and great service!

Always find myself walking out of there unsatisfied. I Don't feel I am ever getting good quality for the high price. My salads are always missing a lot of components, and have rotten wilted greens, and it's always like the soup I get was scraped from the bottom of an empty pot. Such disappointment. read more

Usually it's my one of my favorite locations, the service is usually great, today not so great. One I got two for two and the salad had no dressing, and number two the Apple that came with it was old. So I had to use one my own Apples and I had to eat salad with no dressing because I had a colonoscopy today and couldn't drive back there, my husband picked it up and he had somewhere to go so he didn't go back to get my dressing. Very disappointed because after having no solid food to eat for two days I was looking forward to it. read more

I wish I could give no stars.. when going up to the register, I was assisted by cashier named Quanae, who wasn't very customer friendly to begin with. I ordered a bread bowl with French onion soup. I was told that they were out of French onion soup for the night.. strange to me because it's only 6:30 on a Saturday night. I then ordered broccoli cheddar soup, and I went to my seat thinking I was getting my broccoli cheddar in a bread bowl.. wrong. They gave it to me in a bowl with extra bread instead of coming to the table and telling me they were out of that too. Again, a little weird for 6:30 on a Saturday night. I asked the manager for something else and he was also rude. I was then waiting for my food for a good 15 minutes after, and the people I was eating with were already half way done with their food. I had to go up and get my new order, since they just had it sitting on the counter for no reason. They need to learn better customer service techniques, and communicate to their customers that they are out of something, rather than assuming they still want a modified version of it. read more

The food is good however the service is terrible. I ordered two meals last night for takeout. When I got home I realized I had half of what I ordered and probably what was half of somebody else's order. This Franchise seems to be poorly managed. read more

I can easily say this is by far the most horribly run Panera Bread that I have ever been to. "Managament" really needs to step in, although from my experience the manager was disgustingly rude and wanted nothing to do with helping customers. We had been waiting in line for over 20 minutes before she even acknowledged that there was a line of about 15 people and only 1 cashier working, whom did not know how to work the register in the first place. She kept running to the back and asking how to punch in different sandwiches. Finally when a women came over to complain about her soup being partially frozen, the manager came out and said "what's the problem", the customer informed her that her soup was cold.. The manager looked at her and pointed behind the women and said "the microwave is right there..." HOW RUDE. I can't even believe she would acknowledge a customer like that and then continues to be rude to the next customer in line. She kept mumbling under her breath and rolling her eyes. It was ridiculous. I will never be back. Also.. I was able to write this whole review all while waiting for my food which took another 20 minutes. Mind you, there are only about 10 customers in the whole cafe at this point. VERY SLOW read more

Disappointment. Barely any fruit in my salad (strawberry poppyseed) and it wasn't as ripe as it should be. I asked for no chicken but they put it in anyway. I AM A VEGAN. I CAN'T EAT THIS. I've ordered this salad before at other locations and it was great but this location did not meet expectations. read more

The staff are extremely rude! The girl messed up my ordered and I apologized even though it wasnt my fault. Then she talks to her coworkers about me in Spanish when I understand Spanish. Extremely unprofessional! read more

I like Panera...a good healthy quick alternative. I get a salad w Chicken, my daughter gets a Turkey sandwich. A few weeks ago I get home....no chicken on the salad....people make mistakes, this one hurt, now I have no dinner. Dealt with it, ate something else. When I went back to tell them wasnt overly satisfied w their response. I have been in the restaurant business a long time. When I screw up an order, its embarrassing and I rectify it. I got another salad and they didnt charge me the extra $3 for the chicken....not my idea of remorse or rectifying the mistake. read more

Pamela's is consistent. Rarely is the food awful - it has fresh bread and decent salads. I do feel that lately their food has gotten expensive! read more

Can't give it less than 1 star unfortunately. Ordered online came in and they didn't have my order. My husband showed them the confirmation only to get a tirade from the manger that it was a big order ( hey if you don't want it there are plenty of other places) and how the company doesn't give them enough time. Not my problem. I was coming from a post op visit with my son and he wanted Panera from Rte 17, Ramsey, NJ.. My husband patiently waited 20 more minutes only to bring home 3 salads that were all wrong and had gorgonzola cheese on all of them, which I am allergic to, no meat on one, eggs on another which were described online. I called the number on the receipt that says " if your not satisfied call this number" and the person could care less. Panera is not cheap, so I'm sorry they should be going the extra mile. After this experience, they have forced me to go is elsewhere in the future. That was $85 down the drain for lunch! read more

The food here is great, from soups to salads to sandwiches to even there breakfast items. They got free WIFI, like most places in the area, the only bad thing is if you go for lunch, you will wait a while in line for your food. read more

Food is good, overpriced perhaps, but yummy. Service is usually pretty good... USUALLY. Exception to this is when I try to go in the morning and have a limited time before I have to get to work. On several occasions there has been one lady at the register who holds personal and extended conversations with other customers and holds up the line. It's irritating because the line just builds up in front of her and she blatantly ignores everyone and continues to chat. Doesn't even seem to care. It's peak morning hours, and people need to go to work. Not the time for chit chat! Other than that, people are pretty friendly and I've never had a problem with service or order accuracy. read more

the service was horribly slow and they charged me for things and forgot them in the bag.

Great food and friendly service though during lunch time its a mad house!! Need more registers open during that time

Panera is amazing!!! Their food is always quick and ready on time. I've never had a bad experience at this location specifically. The staff is super helpful and care about their customers read more

Ordered a soup and sandwich for take out today and while the soup was fine, the sandwich was nasty as hell. I just don't know who thought it was okay to hand a customer a soggy sandwich badly wrapped in a paper bag. The bread was soaked in god-knows-what and I could not even pick it up without throwing up in my mouth a little. The three employees I encountered while in the store looked like they did not know what the fuck they were doing or talking about; I heard the woman preparing the food behind the counter respond "I don't really know what that is" when another customer asked her what kind of sauce was on his sandwich. I have a theory this woman grew up eating soggy sandwiches during her childhood and for that, I feel terrible. read more

They have excellent peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. There is more jelly than peanut butter and both sides are yummy. Plus they have tuberz. read more

Great place to eat! The staff is extremely friendly. The restaurant is always clean. There is plenty of seating. Everything you order at here is delicious. This has to be my favorite Panera to go too, since it is so big. If you want to sit in more private section, there is seating in the back, where a wall divides you from the rest f the restaurant. Love it here, definitely recommend people to go this Panera restaurant. read more

I was just here yesterday and I was so impressed with the kindness and helpfulness of your staff. The young man who took my order realized that I was limping upon approaching the cash register. He told me to go ahead and sit down and he would bring the order to me. It was pretty busy, but he took the time to note where I was sitting and to bring my order to me when it was called so I didn't have to stand to wait with my leg injury. And of course, the food was fantastic as always! read more

I always enjoy the food at Panera. The soups and bread are outstanding. Today the cashier put my bear claw in the bag without any wrapping and just put it into a paper bag by itself. I think your help should be instructed to pick up the pastry with a clean paper and then put it into a bag. this was rather unappetizing. Other than that--Panera is my favorite place. read more
