We've been loyal customers for years, so finding three hairs embedded in our cake was especially disappointing. We contacted the bakery and followed their instructions to bring the cake back, but they refused to even look at it or offer any solution. The hairs were unacceptable, but the bakery's lack of concern and customer service was equally disappointing. This experience has seriously damaged our trust in the business. read more

Been in the Mahwah Ramsey area since 1984. Lotito's was the go to deli. You always got your monies worth. Price was always a tad higher but worth it. largest meat and condiment packed heros. Went today and paid $17 for the American Hero and was totally disappointed. Extremely skimped on the meat and condiments. Probably get better at 7/11 store. The hero bread was terrible. Pick it up and just fell apart in your hands. Wife ordered eggplant parm on round roll and no rolls. So gave it to her in a container with a half of hero. Why not just put it on the half hero roll???? Her roll was the same, just fell apart when you touch it. Quantity of eggplant was a joke. Prices are extremely high, quality of product low, quantity of product low. No more Lotito's after all these years. read more

Local spot so it's convenient when I'm shopping in Interstate. The last few times, the quality has been awful and the prices have increased drastically. Chicken cutlet was like rubber, ham was sliced so thick for a sandwich it was disgusting, soup was lukewarm. Desserts are also the same. Apple turnover was not fresh. The staff behind the counter are soo slow and it seems like they don't want to be there. read more

The Italian combo was gross. Little meat products no flavor. Soggy. We also got a soppessata with sharp provolone. First they charged us $2 extra for 3 small slices of provolone. The amount of meat was minimal and pathetic looking. Over price for garbage. We will NEVER go back or recommend. Ramsey and surrounding residents deserve better. read more

Around since 1978, this deli seems to do well, offering the usual Italian desserts, sandwiches and heroes, burgers and other deli items as well as breakfast sandwiches, snacks, pasta. We liked both the eggplant and chicken parm on rolls but small portions for the price. There's a good amount of seating for a deli. read more

My mom and I wanted to grab a quick bite after shopping in the shopping center. One of the employees at globe shoes recommended this place and I'm glad we went. I had a grilled chicken, mozzarella and broccoli Robb sandwich. YUM! read more

Way too expensive prices jumped higher than inflation, sandwiches are smaller than other area deli's or national chains, and only adequate quality. read more

Been a satisfied client however last purchase left me disappointed. The Milano, ordered a club to share with my wife. We're not big eaters. After paying either $16 or $18 for it I'd expect a product that'd be satisfying. The prosciutto was very skimpy, the mozzarella one layer also thin. At the price charged this is not an acceptable product. read more

This place has gone downhill big time. Prices are ridiculously high. It feels more like a bodega in Harlem than an Italian deli in Bergen County. Sandwich sucked and the bread was terrible. Baked goods were days old (an employee told a customer that. She was complaining about the quality). This used to be the spot but now it's the spot to avoid. read more

I drove quite a distance to pick up a cake that I had ordered, and decided to get some pastries too. I asked the girl behind the counter how many rainbow cookies were in a pound, she replied "couldn't tell ya", just like that..........deadpan reply. I'll think twice before going out of MY way, since she obviously could care less about selling pastries. read more

So every time I come into this place no one actually wants to help you it is the same every time. Works eating , drinking tea but not actually helping customers. I was there this morning at 11:40am Friday morning 10/24. No one wants to help you, no eye contact and they just walk by you. I asked a guy who was busy and he said someone will be there in a minute. It was already 5 mins I was waiting and honestly they are not nice in general. Last time I will be going back. Thanks read more

Favorite deli! I've been getting the Bronx bomber wrap for years and it never disappoints. My husband loves their Italian combo and Mac and cheese. Didn't get a cannoli today but if this is your first time going or you're just in the mood for one definitely get a cannoli or lobster tail. You won't be disappointed read more

Classic Italian deli - the store was bigger than I was expecting. We ordered a couple of heros ahead of time and I also ended up browsing the shop and buying 2 kinds of stuffed ravioli and homemade cavatelli in the freezer section. They also have a lot of choices for hot food, imported dry pasta and desserts. The sandwiches were very good - we had the American with American cheese and the Roma with added prosciutto di Parma. I have yet to try the frozen pastas - will update my review when I make them. I bought crab ravioli and mushroom and vidalia onion. Lots of flavors I couldn't just choose one! read more

This is a very good deli. It's hard to find good chicken salad in the area and I Love their chicken salads. They make good cold and hot foods. Their subs are very good too. I have never personally purchased anything from their bakery, but always see it busy with people buying. I rated 4 starts because they are a bit pricey, otherwise, Very good and highly recommend. read more

Ok I think I'm DONE with Lettios Deli in Ramsey for good. I have been going there for atleast 15 years and the last few years the sandwiches have gone to crap. They used to thinly slice the meats and pile it high, now I get 2 slices of the thickest cut ham folded over! Horrible! This is NOT A DELI STYLE SANDWICH. I've been so disappointed atleast the last 4 times I've gotten a sandwich from there! read more

Just poorly run and sloppy. There was no formal line and workers would be calling random people out of order. They also had little food that a deli should have. No broccoli rabe, no brushcetta... Slow service..... The interior of the place is huge a nicely decorated though. read more

Lolitos is in a shopping center and I had higher hopes than what I experienced. Its an italian style market with both hot food and desserts. They had all the italian heavy hitter desserts too however the desserts tasted average. The brownie was all frosting. The cannoli was probably the best thing I had there but it was just ok. Nothing popped with flavor or was memorable. Tasted like grocery store desserts. The hot food looked better but I didn't try it. Maybe next time. read more

Lotito's Deli & Bakery is just off Rt 17 in the Interstate Shopping Center. As you walk up you can see their bakery and what they are creating from the window. Once you enter you truly have a full bakery and deli. There are two counters to place your orders at, there were lots of beautifully pre-made cakes, cookies, and pastry. When you walk to the back of the store you see lots of pre-made food options as well. I can understand the appeal of many because you can stop there once you get off 17 on your way home after work to pick up dinner. The staff was friendly and even went to the back to check if they had any fresh mozzarella since they were out upfront. The gentleman also helped me with my St. Joseph pastry asking which kind would I like "cannoli or chantilly" Both of course. Before I start my review please understand that this is all my opinion and I try to be honest as possible. I also will give my thought on why I think something did not work. Now on to the review. I will start with the mozzarella. It was very dense and upon cutting was breaking apart but not in the OMG this is so delicate and moist way. I tried a piece and there was no hint of any salt but also no taste at all. To be fair I then added salt and let it sit for another half hour to try it again, it helped slightly but not enough. If you go just get the mozzarella on a sandwich. They most likely make it early in the morning for the day and it sits in non-saltled water. I did show up at 4pm and they close at 6pm. The St Joe's pastry was nicely decorated and priced very fairly at $3.00. The first one I tried was the Cannoli cream stuffed zeppole. The zeppole was fresh and reminded me of a Dunkin Donut French Crueller which was fine but the cannoli cream had a taste of mayo, not ricotta. Did I say mayo? I tasted it 3 more times and then a bite with the zeppole. Yes, it was a mayo taste. I can't explain the Cannoli unless something else is added to the ricotta when they make it. The Chantilly had the same Zeppole and the cream was nice, it wasn't overly sweet. If you go stick to Chantilly. I'm interested in some of their other products and will try a sandwich next time I'm up there. read more

I came here for the first time a week ago and it wasn't bad. First as I walked in the line was extremely long. I can only assume if the line was that long it must be good. As I stood on line and was reading the menu and looking at the cold salads and pastas, nothing looked appealing at all. I decided to play it safe and ordered a grilled cheese and tomato. They forgot to add the tomato which was a little annoying. The grilled cheese it self was pretty good but overpriced. $7 dollars for a grilled cheese is crazy considering you can walk across the street and go to shop rite and get bread and cheese for $7 and have grilled cheese all week. Its okay If you play it safe you wont be disappointed but not sure if I would visit again due to so many excellent delis in the are. I can say the employees were very friendly. read more

The greek salad that was 9.99$ was far from fresh and the single olive that was in there was not pitted. The 1.15lbs of old salad and 1 single not pitted olive. A few friends and I went for a leisurely like around Ramapo Lake and then wanted to end the day with some solid Jersey subs. We drove all the way to Lotito's and thankfully Yelp steered us in the right direction! I really enjoyed my gigantic honey ham & honey turkey on a hero with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano! There's no other way to eat a sub. They stuff it with tons of layers of meat and cheese. Their dessert display is incredible and right now since it's it's Christmas time, everything was so colorful. I had trouble deciding which cookie to get, but lands on the yellow cookie with a huge layer of chocolate over it. I don't know what that is, but it was deeelish. Nice service, huge portions, and a loaded menu with tons of choice. Definitely a nice choice in the area if you're ever up in Ramsey. read more

This is my go-to bakery for everything! Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cannolis... their cake is so moist and and their frosting is so light and delicious. Their cake decorating is also very creative.
