Disappointed. First of all, I do not like the food here in general. The soups OK maybe, but as far as sandwiches and stuff go, I would rather have microwaveable food than this garbage. My really disappointment comes from a. Recent experience. My sister who is in high school frequents this location after football games. NOW, I have seen the crowd of kids that gathers here and it is insane so they often have police to control the situation. However, my sister is a very quiet, polite, well-behaved girl. She orders her food and eats with a friend or two. She is a PAYING customer. Last time, they were kicked out ...WHILE my sister was sitting down eating the food that she bought. I understand and sympathize with the fact that some of the kids after these games are out of control and that a business has a right to ask people to leave for several reasons, especially if they are being disruptive or are not patronizing the business. I love me some Panera Bread and this location is HUGE! We came here late Saturday night for a quick bite to eat before heading out to Vermont. The staff here is very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have about their different menu items. They also have call ahead pick up and a new option to order your food to the table you are sitting at, just pick your items and they will deliver it rite over to you. Two stars only for this Panera. My daughter had the French onion soup and there was three shreds of cheese. And they used croutons instead of real bread. It was awful. Everyone likes French onion soup because of the gooey cheese. My son had a kid portion of pasta. I guess he liked it but it was so small, maybe enough for a 4 year old (he is 11). I had a soup / salad combo. It was a shrimp and Asian slaw type of salad (too tangy) an the soup was chicken noodle. The soup barely had any chicken or noodles. Never going back. The food (though a smaller portion as far as your average american's diet, that they're not lying to you about) taste delicious. And the prices are fine, especially on the fresh breads. Where to begin without spending too much time describing the sub-par experience at this glorified hangout that happens to serve food. I thought it was supposed to be a place that specialized in bread. It seems that they specialize in absolutely nothing here. We ordered an autumn squash soup, tomato mozzarella panini, and a Greek salad along with a medium beverage. What we received was a tomato soup, a small sized panini for the over 7 dollar price tag, and a salad that looked like it had been assembled hours before...not even a cup for the paid for beverage, either. The tastes varied from awful to marginal. Service was horrid, with the exception of the spectacled kid cleaning up the joint. The worst thing, though, was the filthy interior of the iced tea dispensers. They were caked with a cloudy, scaley mess on the inside of the walls of it. Truly horrid. I really don't give many one star reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I've had as a yelper...even as a regular person. Stay far away. FAR away. read more

POOR SERVICE!!! Everytime I go to Panera in ramsey nj I always have issues with my order. It's sad how many times I talk to the management team about my order and ALWAYS have the same issue. I refuse to let the poor service continue! I pay 10 dollars a day for the meal I get. I deserve everything that comes with the meal specially if I include in the ordering instructions on the app "extra 6 dressings". I get the extra dressings and I know you may be thinking that's a lot of dressing.... I will include a picture of the dressing they give you.. HORRIBLE! I am not a big fan of Panera, because I am not a big fan of sandwich. I come here for cookie, coffee and date! yes... before I found my husband, I uses Panera bread as place for date, to meet people. First because it's open space, public and have free wifi. Anyway, it's good place to study too, since compare to starbucks coffee, panera has bigger table for your book. So to handle meeting, study, is good place to be. So I am not going to rate about the food, because I don't know much about it. read more

One of my usual lunchtime spots! I get the You Pick 2, often the Fuji Apple salad paired with Sierra turkey sandwich and chips on the side. The self service kiosk saves a bundle of time and this location's service is pretty comparable to others. There is ample seating across several rooms. Overall, no complaints, this is a great lunch spot. read more

This is of course a chain but the bread and bake goods are just as good as your neighborhood bakery. It is by far way better than the super market bakeries. The soups and salads are fresh and are good for lunch and dinner. The sandwiches made with fresh bake bread are awesome. Service is friendly and quick, helpful with plenty of guidance on their specials. A very good place for a quick meal. read more

I often stop at Penera Bread, but this particular location is less than stellar. On one occasion, the souffle, which is what I usually order, was undercooked and filled with nearly-raw egg. On another occasion, I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, only to find that it had no ham. If you stop at this location, check your order before you leave. Taking into consideration that we are in the middle of a pandemic that has not yet "disappeared", I would think that a food service business would take a little more pride in the cleanliness of its bathrooms. The men's room looked as though it was 2 weeks overdue for a cleaning. Paper towels overflowing from the garbage can onto the floor, commodes not flushed, urine on the floor...just disgusting. I usually judge a place on how the restrooms are maintained. Maybe it was just a bad night? I don't know?!?!? I've never seen it this bad before, but C'mon man!!! There were about 10 employees making one sandwich and nobody to clean the restrooms? Also, I ordered a loaf of bread and the worker at the cash register (the one where they accept....cash), handled my loaf with the same gloves she was wearing to touch the cash register. These things don't go unnoticed and plays a major role in deciding if I will return to this location or not. I will give it another go as maybe this was just an "off" night. Better than he Paneras in Woodcliff Lake because you can actually get a seat. Free refills on ice coffee and tea, free wi-fi (the hough it is limited during lunch) and a friendly staff. They just need to sort out the line. It can be unclear and I have waited 10 minutes for coffee while someone ordering a big lunch walzes up to the counter and orders without waiting. I'm blown away by the remarkable and friendly service received. The delectable hot chocolate with marshmallows and chocolate chips was simple to die for, regret not getting a larger cup. I'm a traveler and this has been the best combination I've had in the world. Also had the Chipotle Chicken Avacado melt!!! I have been a faithful Panera-goer for years, which is why it kills me to write this review. Ramsey's Panera has been AWFUL the last few days. Usually, when I work at my part time job over the weekends, I order from them for delivery. My place of business is less than a mile from Panera. Yesterday, I was absolutely starving, so I ordered early, thinking I'd have my meal by lunchtime. I placed my order, and paid, at 11:15 am. At 1:40, my food still hadn't been delivered. I called yesterday during peak hours, non-peak hours, and even this morning, and still, no one is answering the phone. I had to call the corporate office just to get my money refunded, and of course, never got my food. This is absolutely ridiculous. read more

We ordered on the kiosk and the screen showed that our order was preparing and then was ready. All of a sudden our name disappeared from the screen and the staff and the manager had no idea what had happened to our order. The manager, Juan Herrera, was very uncooperative and didn't even listen to our order as we asked him to make it again. Didn't offer any incentives to us for the order mess up. Talk about a branch that can't handle the lunch rush. The customer service at this panera is terrible and we will never be back. Have never been this disappointed with a panera before. Pretty disappointed in this establishment. We called in a phone order and once we got back to work we realized our two vegetarian salads had chicken on them. I really like it here! The counter staff are so friendly and helpful. You never have to wait too long for your food, and you can sit and have it delivered to your table of your choice. I'm a big Fan the broccoli cheddar soup, in the bread bowl of course! The frontega chicken panini is also really delicious. I went here a few hours ago and have no choice but to yelp about my experience with the rude and slow service at this establishment. i ordered a bagel and asked for it to be toasted semi well-done, and it came out of the toaster blacker than night. I told her politely the bagel was burnt and her response was "no it's not." Last time I checked this was a simple fix and employees shouldn't respond to you like that. She also took forever to come from the back to get the cream cheese from the refrigerator. I won't be returning to this Panera and instead I will go to the one in Paramus Park.
