    "Fresh bread"

What a terrible place to eat ! The worst customer service I've had with Panera . The ordering lady was the only person that was nice. We came at 8 pm and I ordered a cup of Mac and cheese for my kids that was supposed to come with fresh bread and we got precut old bread with barely warm mac and cheese for $7 ! Panera is open until 9 pm but they said they already doing the dishes so everything will be in take out containers. They won't allow us to even use the bathroom because they were preparing for the store to close.

Ordered a half Chipotle Chicken avocado Melt with no sweet peppers and this is what was on the sandwich. There's barely anything on this I just bought two slices of bread for $9 that's insane.

This is one establishment that I can only get in the mainland. Hoping they would consider coming to the islands. From breakfast to lunch that various items that are available is my kind of eatery. For breakfast I love their hot sandwiches and pastries. And I'm a salad person each season they have a special combination so I would try something new. What I like about this place is you are also able to order take out and pick up the mobile location along with earning points for discounts.

Panera, the chain of consistently good food, with inconsistent levels of service and cleanliness. Sadly, I'm finding more and more of their locations lacking in these core competencies. This particular store included. Walked in at 11:30am hoping to get a bagel with bacon & cheese. The young lady behind the counter said they're no longer doing breakfast, in spite of the breakfast menu still posted. She added that they can't do eggs. I assured her that's fine, as I don't like eggs anyway. She was insistent that there was no way to do a bagel with bacon and cheese. I ordered my wife the turkey, bacon, avocado BLT. No problem! I then asked the obvious... the BLT has bacon, right? "Yes, it does." At that point a young man came from the kitchen and heard me ask once again to please put the same bacon that is used on the BLT onto a bagel with some cheese. He grabbed the bagel and got right on it, so I was able to finally enjoy one of their delicious everything bagels with bacon & white cheddar. After eating, I returned to buy a cookie for the road, which is usually offered for .99 with meal purchase. She rang it up and asked for my $2.29, so I of course inquired about the .99 deal (not that the extra $1.30 would have ruined my day). She said that I hadn't asked for it, so I reminded her that she hadn't offered it, at which time she canceled the order and told me to enjoy the cookie. Oh, I did!!! A few other observations; the iced tea urn was empty. The restroom and the door leading to the patio was dirty. Getting to the coffee station was difficult due to "wet floor" cones blocking the way. I very much enjoy Panera's food offerings, but it's getting increasingly difficult to overlook the lackluster management practices at too many of their stores.

I can't stress enough the importance of hospitality in the food service industry. Warm smiles and a customer greeting should be mandatory. It must be end of day vibes because the staff was about as dry as roast can get. Moving slow, checking phones, standing around moping. And I just came for a cup of coffee. The employee at the register couldn't figure out exactly what the customer in front of me wanted so I ended up using the app so that I wouldn't have to stand in line any longer. Trash bin was overflowing out front and shelves were void of pastries and such save die two or three pieces of bread. It was not a feel good restaurant, Panera style. If it wasn't for having to force myself to Panera since I have unlimited sips club card I would have skipped the place.

I like to stop in this shopping center whenever I'm about to board a plane on my way back home from visiting family in SC, which is pretty often. My daughter selected Panera Bread this time & I love Panera, so we stopped. It was Tuesday, January 4th - in between breakfast & lunch - a little after 10am. There was no line at the register and the lady behind the counter waited patiently as we discussed our options. She had greeted us politely behind her mask when we entered. My daughter opted for breakfast & chose the egg white, avocado & spinach on ciabatta bread ($6.19). I had my breakfast early, so I ordered lunch - a Greek salad ($8.49) and the pepperoni & sausage flatbread ($10.29). I didn't notice at the time that my salad was missing the tomatoes that were pictured. Nor did I notice my pizza was lacking the generous amount of cheese & pepperoni shown in the picture at the counter. The staff member behind the counter politely told us they would bring it out to us so we sat down nearby at a counter. A few minutes later, I heard a name called out from the back & someone got up to pick up their food. A few minutes later, I went to check on our food. It was sitting on the counter, in front of the cooks. I mentioned to the woman there that I was picking up our order. She didn't ask for a name or seem to care, especially when I mentioned that the woman in the front had told us it would be brought to us. Needless to say, the pizza wasn't hot. Shame, I only ate a couple of pieces and told my daughter to take the rest home. The salad was really good, nice and fresh. My daughter enjoyed her sandwich, no complaints. We rarely get the type of service in these parts that we do in Dallas, I try to overlook it for my daughter's sake, but geez, management should care more about the reviews - I really wanted to give it more **** Never forget there is a lot of competition out there.

Pepperoni mozzarella melt This is what you get for $11 at Panera

Flabbergasted by how little innards comes in this $11 sandwich. This is a loaf of bread with a couple pepperoni in it. I could have found more meat on a eunuch. The other sandwiches I've tried here are well proportioned, so they know how to get it done. Must just be the pepperoni mozzarella melt.

Went to buy a buffalo chicken melt... well I can see and taste the bread more than the chicken melt.

I was hungry and wanted to pick up a quick bite. Ended up with a big loaf of bread and no chicken. I could just have gotten to a French bakery if I wanted to eat a big loaf of bread.

forgot the eggs. mostly bread. waste of $$

I pointed it out right away, and the employee responded, "I told them, but they didn't listen to me," and just walked off. No effort to fix it or take ownership. I ended up taking the potato back to the counter myself and asked for it to be remade. When it was brought back out, the gentleman who delivered it didn't say a word--no apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. What made it more frustrating is that the restaurant wasn't busy at all--we were one of only two tables there. Situations like this are easy opportunities to provide good service, and unfortunately, that didn't happen here

It was simple food but done the right way, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable with a relaxed, easy going atmosphere. Even though it was a busy time, the service stayed friendly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Overall it was a solid experience with good food, good service, and a convenient spot to grab a satisfying meal. I would definitely come back again when I am in the area.

We were looking for something…read morecasual but filling for dinner and because we had not tried out this place yet but had driven by several times, we decided to check it out. Definitely a great decision on a hunch. This is an all you can eat hot pot concept and frankly my first time attending this version. While I have visited hibachi restaurants in the past, this is not that. Basically this is a dual table side prep concept where you can either make your own custom soups and broths, and hot pot seafood or you can select the grill and grill of a variety of fresh meats and fish and vegetables, or you can get both. Both come with a small dessert bar and seem to be accompanied with the additional Fresh salad and sauce bar, although I'm not quite sure if one of those may have been restricted if you did the grill only or the hot pot only. Pricing is pretty fair at about $30 a person which rises to mid 30s if you decide to get both options. We went with the combo because we had never tried this concept before, but in the future, I may lean more towards the grill option only. Especially if I'm not in the mood for hot pot or soup. But I definitely enjoyed the combination choice for our first visit. The meat and vegetable selections at this restaurant are pretty vast and this is after the server first sets you up and allows you to pick from several different types of broth for your hot pot. In addition, they have a sauce bar that must've had 20+ sauces available to choose from. I think one of the most overwhelming aspects of this concept is lack of familiarity with the right combinations of hot pot and grilled options. For this we leaned heavily on our server and she did a great job of guiding us through a couple of her favorite combinations, as well as some of the favorite combinations of other patrons. This was really helpful because there isn't a menu or chart to help you unlock all of the really cool combinations that you can put together including Ramen udon and Thai soup varieties. All of the ingredients you need to make any of those dishes, but in your own customize version, are here to your heart's desire. Service is really good as they do switch out the grills rather rapidly as they will get charred and start to burn and smoke after three or four rounds of fresh meats and veggies slapped on them. However, they do not switch out your broth choice so once you make your choice, that's what you're rolling with for the rest of the dinner. All in all we were really satisfied with the freshness and the preparation of most of the ingredients and sauces. I did think the dessert bar was a little weak given the multitude of options elsewhere, but I also understand that this is consistent with the cultural preferences, which don't skew as heavy on traditional sweets, like American taste do. All in all this is definitely a treat for those looking for a great date night or just looking to take the family out for a really engaging and tasty cook at your table experience - all you can eat style!

We ordered off the menu rather than the buffet -- though both were available and the buffet looked well-stocked and genuinely tempting. My husband had the Shrimp & Grits: Georgia shrimp over stone-ground grits with andouille sausage, peppers, onions, bacon, and a sherry cream sauce. Rumor had it that was the move, and the rumor was right. The grits alone were the kind you don't stop talking about -- velvety, deeply seasoned, the kind of base that makes everything sitting on top of it taste better than it already is. I went with the fried catfish, a side of mac and cheese, and a bowl of gumbo. Honest take: the catfish itself was good -- the fish was fresh and well-flavored -- but the batter had gone a little soggy, which kept it from landing where it could have. That's the kind of thing that varies by timing, not kitchen quality. The mac and cheese, though, was exactly what you want: cheesy without being gluey, hot all the way through, properly indulgent. And the gumbo -- chicken and sausage, rich and built with patience -- was the best thing on my side of the table. On a rainy afternoon in coastal Georgia, it was exactly right. Then there was the cornbread, served with peach cobbler butter. That detail alone tells you something about how this kitchen thinks. It's not an afterthought. It completed everything around it. I'm not from the South, and I won't pretend to have a lifetime of comparison points. But there's a kind of food that makes you feel like you were born into it anyway -- like your body already knew what it was tasting. That's what happened here. Good for road trippers, families, rainy days, and anyone who needs a real meal after a long stretch of highway. Four stars, with the grits alone pulling hard toward four and a half.
