Apparently you have to be pretty for the Cook to recognize you are waiting for food. I was standing waiting and he said not a word. Then a pretty young girl came and stood beside me and the Cook says "May I help you?" and processed to converse with her. It happened two more times. Then my food was ready. Worst Managment!!! I made a breakfast order today and instead of a sausage egg and cheese they gave me a chicken sandwich with fried pickles on it. No biggie, mistakes happen. We ordered sandwiches and my choice was the classic grill cheese but I added tomato and avocado which cost an additional $3. The food at the Pembroke Panera is delicious and the staff are very friendly. With the outdoor seating it's a nice stop for a quick tasty meal. The Art Deco design is a little odd for a restaurant today, but doesn't detract. The other locations I've been to usually have a fireplace which is nice in the cold weather. read more

I like this Panera. Fairly new, it's the first one I know of with a drive-thru which was a real plus on a rainy day! I appreciate the consistency of Panera, the fresh ingredients they all use and the variety of menu items. Also like the standby menu items, plus they're apparently willing to admit it was a huge mistake to discontinue blueberry muffins because they brought them back! I got a BaconTurkey Bravo the other day which has been on the menu since Day One, I think. Huge sandwich, was enough for lunch and breakfast the next day. Pastries are fresh, the store layout is inviting and their goal is to get you through the line fast & happy. I was! The customer service here has been high every time I've been in, with knowledgeable employees and willing to accommodate. It's a keeper for me. read more

So very disappointing as I loved Panera eating there often and missed having one near by after moving. I've been disappointed every time I've visited a few different locations since encouraging the same issues at each location; order is constantly incorrect either in person or pick up. Never give the standard pickle anymore...even though I've started asking for pickles when placing my order and still don't receive any. This particular occasion I checked my order before leaving to see if I needed a spoon or napkins and had noticed the pickles were missing so politely let them know I had ordered pickles but didn't have any...they gave me a tiny sliver of a pickle in a large to go soup bowl that didn't fit in the bag with my original order. Went the other day, got food to go(obviously due to pandemic) anyways it was delicious, went back today and the food was terrible. I totally get things aren't functioning normally but it seemed all the ingredients were kinda old maybe even expired? they also gave me the wrong food. I went back to have my order adjusted, they were very apologetic and helpful. When I got home to check the food, the order was correct but the food was awful! The lettuce in the salad was wilted and soggy. It actually kinda smelt bad, keep in mind this was the second salad I got, so my assumption is their food distributer wasn't able to get them fresh produce, fine I get it but if that's the case take the item off the menu rather than serve expired food that's an Exotic Joe move. The turkey bacon avocado sandwich had rock hard bacon, unripe (flavorless) avocado, and a weird sweetness from the turkey that really concerned us regarding the freshness of the meat. This location needs to get their act together. Food is more often than not made incorrectly, they very frequently ignore requests to not include ingredients (such as, no mayo). Online ordering wait times are -double- from what time the website tells you it will ready by.
