    TheIR scrumptious PORK YIRO!!

Let me start with I am a full blooded Greek gal who knows GREAT GREEK FOOD!! I do chat in Greek with the wonderful Greek guys working diligently behind the counter to make our fabulous meals. I absolutely love the Cedar Café.. I have not been able to get back here for a very long time and the moment they saw me they yelled out... "WELCOME AND WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" Sure makes you feel nice when they reach out to their customers. The YIRO is my favorite.. seasoned with so much flavor and of course their homemade tzatziki brings it all together. A MUST GO AND TRY PLACE for sure. I know I will be a lifelong customer. Great food.. great people ... great service..what else could one ask for. A great big thank you to the entire crew. Love you guys!

The Santorini, French fries with special sauce, a side of hummus, and a Blood Orange Epsa soda. - A tray holds a serving of French fries with a side of orange dipping sauce, a burger wrapped in foil with visible lettuce and meat, and a small container of potato salad. The tray is placed on a wooden table in a restaurant setting, with a bottle of red soda and a yellow drink in the background. The scene suggests a casual dining experience with fast food items.

WOW!! This place is amazing. To start with, the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. I walked in and everyone was so friendly. I explained I'd never been here and it was like a family dinner, everyone suggested stuff, the owner even let me sample a few things. I ended up with The Santorini and it was killer . It was with zucchini but I wanted to try the falafel and the owner threw some on the side and a side of hummus. Everything was so fresh, delicious, and tasty. The owner asked me if I liked heavy metal music, which was awesome and threw the horns up \m/ saying he loved it. This place feels like a family dinner; full of life, humor, conversation, and wonderful people. I'm here from Los Angeles and wish this place was in my backyard! I will 100% return when I'm back in Boston!

Pork Rice Bowl: original Gyro with rice pilaf, pita, sauté onion and peppers, garlic sauce. Very delicious and filling. I can only eat half! - A foam takeout container displays a gyro meal with a folded pita bread, shredded cooked meat, chopped tomatoes and peppers, and a serving of white sauce or yogurt. The meal is arranged on a bed of rice, with the pita placed on top. The container is open, showing the food inside, and is set on a wooden surface.

Great lunch spot. Service was fast, good amount of food for the price. And they are delicious too!

The Authentic with Pork. Easily one of the best things on the menu - A gyro sandwich wrapped in foil, containing sliced meat, French fries, and sauce, with some foil and paper wrapping visible. The sandwich is placed on a white surface, and the image focuses on the food's ingredients and presentation.

There has not been a single time where I have come here and not wanted to cry because of how good the food is. I don't know what they do to it, but it is magical. I don't even think I had food this good when I was in Greece. Everything about this place is just absolutely perfect.

Steak and chicken kabob - A takeout meal in a foam container includes three grilled meat skewers—one chicken and two beef—served over rice. Accompanying the skewers are mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables with peppers and onions, and a piece of naan bread. The meal features a variety of textures and flavors typical of Middle Eastern or Mediterranean dishes, presented in a disposable container.

Food and service here are always exceptional. The spicy chicken dinner is my go to- but everything on the menu is fresh and delicious.

Best gyro on the south shore. Fast and friendly service, great and reasonably priced salads and one of my officer's go to lunch spots.

The woman at the register (short hair) was rushed, dismissive, and frankly disrespectful. When I tried to place my order, she seemed irritated, rolled her eyes when I misspoke, and told me to "stop confusing" her. She also made comments like, "I know you've been to other places--my place is different," instead of helping guide me through the menu. It created a very uncomfortable and tense environment. I left feeling anxious, which is not something you should experience after a simple food order. In contrast, a gentleman working there was kind and professional, which I appreciated. To make matters worse, I was not given a receipt despite asking, and I believe I may have been overcharged. I ordered a Greek salad with added chicken and a chicken shawarma panini, and my total came to $50. My mother's order was supposed to be removed and paid separately, but without a receipt, I have no way to confirm whether that was done correctly. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward creating a more respectful and welcoming environment for customers.

This could be one of the most confusing groups of reviews I've read on a restaurant. Either people…read morelove it or hate it. I went with a friend for lunch yesterday (Thursday), and after trying pretty much all of the major restaurants in the Hingham/JNorwell/Cohasset area, this restaurant was clearly at the top of my list. We were served the Wagyu Beef Sliders and the Bacon & Carmelized Onion Arancini for appetizers, and the Pulitzer Short Rib Burger and Norwell Hot Chicken Sandwich for entrees. I say that we were "served" those things because we actually ordered the Bavarian Pretzels and not the Wagyu Beef Sliders, but because the sliders were so delicious, we figured that we'll try the pretzels on the next go around. All four of our dishes were absolutely fantastic. The sliders and arancini were absolutely top-notch. I've had so many average arancini that I forgot what it's like when cooked at a high-level. It's as good as any I've had anywhere. And the Pulitzer Burger is now my favorite burger ever. Just the right amount of char on the outside with the inside a perfect medium. The chicken was moist with fantastic seasoning. The unexpected surprise were the fries. The fries here are outstanding. And they achieve something that I've never seen anywhere else: their fries are "pillowy". They are crispy on the outside, but the inside is remarkably moist and fluffy. I'd have to categorize these as steak fries, but steak fries are usually a bit denser. Service was terrific, and the decor of the place is not "dated", as another reviewer commented. The place was clearly built to give off a classic and intimate vibe. I didn't try any of the fish offerings this time, but I plan on returning and checking them out. It blows my mind that I never heard of this place until a few days ago.

I had brunch here for the first time last Sunday. While the atmosphere was pleasant enough, the…read moreoverall decor felt a bit dated. Unfortunately, the service felt rushed and somewhat impersonal. Our waitress was responsive when she was at the table, but she tended to disappear for long periods of time. As for the food, it was honestly just average. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and I'm sad to report it was a disappointment. The hollandaise was cold, the eggs were over-poached, the English muffin only was toasted on one side and the hash browns lacked flavor. Even the coffee I ordered with my meal arrived lukewarm. Surprisingly, the best part of the experience was the Bloody Mary I had at the start of the meal. Maybe the the food would be better during lunch or dinner service. I might give them another try in the future and hope for a better experience.
