I literally couldn't say better things about this place. The owner is SO incredibly nice and kind and the food is unbelievable. I got a recommendation from a Hingham friend and I needed a place to cater my sisters Memorial Service, so I called and spoke to the owner Julia. She was so kind, she looked up the date and said she had another event but would still do ours because she knew how hard it was to find a caterer for a funeral. Anyway the food was incredible and Julia a pleasure to work with. All the guests raved about the food, especially the Lobster Canapés and the delicious sandwiches and Charcuterie board. I've picked up takeout here three times over several months. I hate to say but everything has been barely mediocre. Recently a chicken pot pie was all puff pastry, a little chicken few veggies and too much garlic for me. Chicken pot pie is supposed to be down home food. Fantastic! We stopped here later in the afternoon and we super surprised at how great it was! No inside seating but that wasn't a big deal. I don't understand when they expect people to show up and buy their food. If they were open normal hours, I'd buying dinner here at least once a week. There is a small stand in North Scituate that has slightly different hours, but they're frequently sold out of food and close earlier than their posted hours (maybe when they sell out of food?) which is frustrating. read more

I've been going to The Fresh Feast for a few years now - first to its Cohasset location - and now more frequently to its other location in North Scituate. The sandwiches are excellent especially the turkey bacon melt and chicken chipotle. I also enjoy their take out dinners, which are always well prepared and well portioned. Another food item I love is the peanut butter snacks that I actually regularly eat for breakfast. They're very filling and great for a quick breakfast. The service has always been excellent at both locations. I highly recommend that you try it out. read more

The Fresh Feast is very aptly named. I was in the area and decided to check out this place and was blown away by the high quality and affordable prices. I had the soup and sandwich lunch special ($6.95): the turkey sandwich is made with turkey roasted on the premises and it was awesome--like the day after Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches, except this was made with fresh baked bread and a REALLY good honey mustard (wouldn't be surprised if this is made there too). The soup was perfect--lots of meat, beans, and vegetables in a tasty but not salty broth. Then, if it could not get any better, I had one of their brownies. For $2 you get an incredible chocolate-ly rich tasty experience. The top is sprinkled with chocolate chips. If you go, be sure to save room for one of these, or at least take one to go. read more

Fresh Feast is very high quality food and we get take out from her all the time. Everything we've had is excellent and she has some staples like meatballs, sliced beef, chicken tenders, and Mac and cheese. And then she adds a lot of cool and interesting options like most recently I tried her Mexican lasagna which was delicious. Her dips, hummus, and salads are a must and also try her pre-made enchiladas that are typically in the refrigerator. I happened upon this gem while working in the area. A charming place, friendly people and excellent food!! Had chili and the chipotle chicken panini. Friends had banh-mi and meatball sandwich. My (now) wife and I worked with Julia at the Fresh Feast to cater our wedding rehearsal dinner. When we visited the restaurant to sample the food, Julia sat with us and talked a bit about what we were looking for in our meal, and about what she thought would work best given our needs. She was also able to work with the minor changes that popped up here and there after we placed our order. On the day of, everything arrived on time and exactly as expected, and the guests all loved their food! Highly recommended. Pros: Food is fantastic (both the catered food, as well as what we ordered from the restaurant on separate trips to it). Prices are reasonable, especially given the area. Cons: When emailing Julia, sometimes her responses would take too long before getting back to us, and in certain cases it would require multiple emails. In our case it was okay, since we had time, but if you are on a tighter schedule, might want to make sure to emphasize it. As you can see however, given the 5, this issue is easy to swallow when the food quality and value is so good. read more

I dont live on the south shore anymore but visit quite often and i always stop into fresh feast. They have the best prepared foods and fresh sandwiches!!!!!
