Asked for dry cappuccino. They cannot make a cappuccino with extra foam here. I picked the cup up and immediately knew it was all steamed milk and espresso there was barely any foam just hot bubbles...asked to remake it and she says it got to hot so no foam. I only have one cup of coffee a day and it has to taste decent and what I pay for. If you can't make it then say so!! Don't just shrug your shoulders and basically say just accept it. This is probably the worst Panera Bread I've ever been to. They're ALWAYS out of main ingredients and the drive thru tonight took 25 minutes to get through. We've tried contacting someone and have gotten a call back about a free meal the next time we come in but by the time we got back in, the management had already changed. Will never be back!! Horrible service this time. Order greel salad with chicken and bbq sandwiche. When they brought my chicken salad , I didn't see any ..waiter said it was in there. Well after I moved my salad around didn't find any. Took it back up tp the counter. Sat back down my bf was not happy with what he got ...had asked for wheat bread told him they didn't have any so he went along with what he suggested. Wish i was able to not give it a star. Placed and order a day before to fed a school of over 70 teachers. This location couldn't accommodate my order. My driver was there for over 30 min. Spoke to the GM she said was lying saying she put the order in the driver hand but they told driver it was still a20 Min wait. Reached out to corporate to find out it's a franchise store. Love the Asian Sesame salad, have eaten it for years, at this location and others. The lady two times it had been terrible. The lettuce seemed old and tasted awful. Today the lettuce was frozen. I couldn't eat it. Picked up at the drive thru, it wasn't worth taking it back. Afraid to order it agin even though I used to love it. Really doesn't deserve one star. read more

If you are looking a group of kids to consistently get a simple order wrong then this is the place for you. They have NEVER given me the correct order. And I really mean NEVER. Dine in, "rapid" pick up, drive thru, it doesn't matter, they'll have a burnt grilled sandwich out to you just as you finally nod off while watching the clock. Curbside pick up...no they mean you park at the curb and wait while no one ever comes out with your order. I was so confused the first time. This used to be the "good" one in the Pearland area but customer service has gone down extremely. I heard employees making fun of me for studying in the restaurant. Literally that's the only reason I go to Panera Bread, not the food. I ordered a bagel and a coffee, so it was my right to study there. Tried to give this place another shot today and they were out of bagels. Literally, Panera is only good for one thing and they were out of that! I asked if they were making more and crickets. They obviously didn't want my money so I left and won't be back. PJs Coffee has better coffee, food and service. If you're in Pearland, try them. read more

Brand new location in Pearland, has a drive thru! Dined in this afternoon and had a great experience. Staff was very helpful and nice. Our food was delivered before we picked a table! I was impressed. I got the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad, it was fantastic. The Plum Ginger Iced Tea was really good as well. Really liked the lay out of the restaurant, very modern interior. Patio had a really cool fireplace. Will for sure be coming back to this location. read more

The east side of Pearland finally has a Panera Bread! It beats having to drive to the cluster that is 518 and 288. This location just opened a few weeks ago. It sits in the same parking lot as HEB (pretty close to Pei Wei). The first thing I noticed is that there is a drive thru! Super convenient if you just need to swing through to pick up lunch or dinner. I decided to go inside since it is new and I was wanting to try something different from my usual Sierra Turkey and Garden Veggie Pesto soup. The decor has a more contemporary feel to it compared to other locations. They have an indoor fireplace which gives it a cozy feel. I didn't walk around the dining room, but it looked pretty busy for a Monday night. They even have a bench to sit at if you're waiting on a to go order. This is much better than having to stand near the cash registers at other locations. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! I wasn't sure of the names of some of the items and the two young ladies at the register this evening were able to explain the items to me. I ended up ordering the Mediterranean Chicken Flatbread sandwich (which is much bigger than I realized) and the Lentil Quinoa Bowl with Chicken. I opted for house chips for my side. My meal was sooo good! There's a generous portion of kale, spinach, and chicken in the bowl and the broth was delicious! They have so many options besides the typical sandwiches and soups. They also packed it well so nothing spilled out on my drive home. Everything about this visit was just wonderful. I'm eager to go back and actually eat in the dining room. I'm so glad that this location is open now! I'll be stopping here more often. Edit: According to the press release, the drive-thru has slightly different hours from the dining room. They also have catering with delivery and you can order online (or on the mobile app) and pick up to go (like most of the other locations). There's apparently an "order status" monitor that shows you how many orders are in front of yours. I did not notice this when I was there this evening. No matter how many times I have come to this location it is always dirty. Their ground looks like they haven't swept in days. The tables aren't wiped down and are sticky. Whether it is drive through or sit in their food is always stale or just tastes/looks old. Especially their bread, croutons and mac n cheese. I will not be coming to this location again. read more

I now understand why it's 2.5 stars. Have visited 2 times in the last month and the menu was very limited. I asked the manager if it was standard practice to limit the menu during normal operating hours and he said "it is what it is". Then proceeded to make a flat bread pizza for a delivery. I was told that only deliveries take priority. Well Calvin/Calvin or whatever, I hope that either you start caring about running this location or the owner gets someone in that cares enough to serve the public and save this store. Service is terrible. Lots of dirty tables in the restaurant at all times. Flies can be hollering over the dirty tables times to times and nobody cares to clean it up. Service is not very nice where no greetings or check-up on dine-in guests. Food is average $15-$25 for 2 people depends on what you order. Plenty of room t improve. Long wait for the food even though it's just sandwich and salad and soup. looking like thy need to up staff their location if they want a turn. Associates are found times to times scatter around and talking to each others all the time sbut focus on customer service. Would not be back at all for this type of restaurant. read more

Tried to give this franchise a chance after seeing all the bad reviews. I ordered a you pick two with a salad and a soup and only received my salad. Only realized it once I got home to eat my meal and it was too far to drive all the way back. I am furious! I only received my salad and it was a measly one at best (a very little serving). I have visited this location several times, and each time they have messed up my order, and the persons in front of me. Not to mention, two time this has happened in the drive thru- which makes the line back up, and takes forever. Super frustrating. Went to the Pearland Parkway location this morning to meet a friend. It was AWFUL. We ordered the egg white, avocado, whole grain bread sandwich. The bottom of this was BURNED and could not be cut with a knife. We ended up having to take this breakfast sandwich apart and eat it with our hands. It was very messy and tasted terrible. My coffee was cold. When I told the lady who delivered our food she said, "It's not cold, but maybe lukewarm." REALLY?? Firstly, don't dispute a customer and secondly, offer me some hot coffee! Skip this place. Chick-Fil-A is next door and Starbucks is down the street. It was a big waste of money and not a pleasant experience. read more

I initially attributed the poor service to the fact that they were a new location however, it's been a year I guess and every time I give them another chance they are sure to disappoint. When will I learn? Where do I start? Iced coffee not brewed properly - not even once. It's like dirty water. It's not the right consistency. I'm guessing they use too little coffee grounds or too much water. Bagels always taste like they are a day old. - I've had perfect Panera Bagels and I know the difference. These are hard and difficult to chew. Slow service - two employees working on Sat and Sunday morning....and one was apparently the manager however, he was dressed not dressed professionally and the girl up front had to go get him from the back to help. He was in street clothes and looked like he just rolled out of bed. And it gets better...I've reached out with formal feedback requesting follow up from an above store manager....and NOTHING! The manager,Andrew, there is great! I was stuck in the drive thru for awhile and I couldn't get out. It was annoying and I had to leave. I called the place and he answered, apologized, and said he'll try to get the car above me to move forward so I can go. By the time I did get to the window I asked if my order was ready because if it wasn't then I'd have to cancel because I needed to go. They said it was but by the time I got to work I noticed my whole order wasn't even in the bag. I called again just to express my frustration about the situation and he very calmly said he can run the rest of the order to me. (I work two businesses over but can't leave.) I mean what establishments would run the rest of the order to you? Despite how close you are. I know they deliver but still. I think it was a nice thing to do. The guy that brought it over was super kind and told me they put extra in the bag as well. Kudos to them for having patiences, being kind, and going the extra mile. Edit: The entire order was wrong. The girl at the window even read it back to confirm and I still got the wrong thing on top of the missing items. It had things in it I couldn't eat so I had to toss it. Whatever you do, please do not go to the Panera Bread located at 2670 Pearland Pkwy. I came to this Panera Bread on May 22, 2020 at 9:20 am and I ordered a sourdough bowl soup with no soup in it. I rarely go to this Panera bread because, I never had a good experience. I only came here because my daughter wanted a soup bowl. It is a black older lady with short gold looking hair that works in the drive thru. She is never nice and she hates her job so much. I think it is sad when restaurants hire horrible staff which brings down their business. People need to understand that customers are your providers. I have been wanting to drop a review but kept forgetting. I don't know why I keep going after seeing moldy ceiling tiles. This last time I went there were buckets from all the leaks in the ceiling. It wasn't from the air conditioning so where were the leaks coming from. Are there more leaks in the kitchen and more buckets we can't see. Poor management! read more

I usually like this location but whatever happened to the food quality today was really bad. I get my usual cup of turkey chili and a half Cesar salad but today the cup of turkey was luke warm (usually super hot) and then the croutons in my salad tasted really stale. My bread side was also hard as rocks. What happened?! I went maybe an hour after noon? Prime lunch time and the food quality is this bad? Horrible customer service!!!! No one really eager to be there or work! Basically told to use kiosk rather than checking me out at counter. Ordered 4 meals for dine in. Hair found in one of my orders and when reported no surprise or concern or apology made! 2 meals came out ok waited on order that had to be remade due to hair. Still never saw 4 meal? Waited for 4th meal to come assuming it was taking a bit longer because it was soufflé? That's what I get for assuming!?! Went to counter to find out how much longer it would be? I was then told oh we are out of that item!!! So we had been waiting there patiently for what?!? No one had informed us that they were out or came to us to offer replacement item. If we had not gone to them we probably would still be there waiting! Ridiculous!!! Once at counter it then we were offered replacement but nothing interested in so requested refund. I then by this time asked if manager was there and told yes. I said I would like to talk to them cashier left for a bit came back and said she is not available or here? I knew the poor girl was being told what to say and obviously not comfortable with doing so. I then said is she out of building or hiding in the back? She then excused herself stepped outside to car parked in curbside parking spot and talked to the "manager " who was smoking. The building is all windows so I could definitely see what was happening. Cashier came back to say she could give refund but if I wanted manager it would be 5 minutes!! Manager couldn't be bothered I guess for all of 5 seconds it would have taken to apologize or show some concern for error and then returned to cigarette!! Are you serious I then officially realized I wouldn't get anywhere with her anyway. I said never mind do the refund I'll contact corporate office. Did call already hopefully something gets done or I get some kind of response.. I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy!!!?!? Unbelievable!!
