Always a plus when you dine in. I had the chicken Cobb avocado salad. Delicious!! Gave my bread to my daughter. It's good but I eat low carbs. So eat the bread lol!!! I had the ginger hibiscus tea. This is yummy with or without sweetener. I added one sweet n low. You order. Get a number to place on your table and the food fairy brings your food to you fresh. I have the rewards panera card and I got a free pastry for my birthday!!! But I have that away too because I eat low carbs!!! Lol!!!! And the best, they give military discounts!!! I usually like this location but whatever happened to the food quality today was really bad. I get my usual cup of turkey chili and a half Cesar salad but today the cup of turkey was luke warm (usually super hot) and then the croutons in my salad tasted really stale. My bread side was also hard as rocks. What happened?! I went maybe an hour after noon? Prime lunch time and the food quality is this bad? We ordered salads online for pick up at the store. Picked up the food on time with no issues but the quality was well below expectations. A Green Goddess Salad was served with two very black avocado slices that looked disgusting. An Asian Sesame Chicken Salad was prepared without sesame seeds or almonds as advertised. It was impractical to make a return trip to get food that was properly prepared so we eliminated to uneatable avocados and proceeded with lunch. I called to store manager to provide feedback and he have me a "what do you want us to do about it" response. I told him I just called to let him know there was a problem at the store. He ended the call with a very snarky "ok sir, have a nice day" response. I told him that it was clear to me that he did not give a damn about customer satisfaction. We drove through one night bc my daughter raved about panera bread. So, we ordered drive thru. When we got home are whole order was wrong. HOWEVER, they made our order again and were so nice! Having worked in the restaurant industry many, many years ago.. I dislike calling and complaining.. but... since nothing was what we ordered, we did. Other wise it would have been no big deal Now, the food was very good! The drive thru worker was very nice and when we went in to get our new order, the place was very clean. The only, ONLY reason I'm not giving it a 5 star is bc for the price, the sandwich portions are so small.. I didnt know that, or I would've ordered my husband 2 meals... my daughter apparently knew that, but she doesn't eat much, and didnt think about it.. Horrible customer service!!!! No one really eager to be there or work! Basically told to use kiosk rather than checking me out at counter. Ordered 4 meals for dine in. Hair found in one of my orders and when reported no surprise or concern or apology made! 2 meals came out ok waited on order that had to be remade due to hair. Still never saw 4 meal? Waited for 4th meal to come assuming it was taking a bit longer because it was soufflé? That's what I get for assuming!?! Went to counter to find out how much longer it would be? I was then told oh we are out of that item!!! So we had been waiting there patiently for what?!? No one had informed us that they were out or came to us to offer replacement item. If we had not gone to them we probably would still be there waiting! Ridiculous!!! Once at counter it then we were offered replacement but nothing interested in so requested refund. I then by this time asked if manager was there and told yes. I said I would like to talk to them cashier left for a bit came back and said she is not available or here? I knew the poor girl was being told what to say and obviously not comfortable with doing so. I then said is she out of building or hiding in the back? She then excused herself stepped outside to car parked in curbside parking spot and talked to the "manager " who was smoking. The building is all windows so I could definitely see what was happening. Cashier came back to say she could give refund but if I wanted manager it would be 5 minutes!! Manager couldn't be bothered I guess for all of 5 seconds it would have taken to apologize or show some concern for error and then returned to cigarette!! I walk in with family for an early dinner. Three people are at the same register and not one acknowledged us. We waited for a couple minutes, then one employee comes around the corner and orders herself food. After she finishes two employees walk away and we are finally greeted. We order our food which for the price was mediocre compared to other Panera breads, the bread was very rough that it hurt my jaw. My son dropped his fork so I went looking for a new one, I went to where the put the food out for servers and ask an employee if these were the clean utensils because I wasn't sure. She gave me a horrible look and said ya. There were no lids and no straws, which is a minor inconvenience but since I had two kids with me it would have been nice. I placed a catering order but due to needing delivery while lunch out delivery was not available, which I completely understand. The person who took my order was excellent he was super friendly and helpful. When I arrived to pick up my order. The answered the phone was super rude and she must of been having a bad. This was our first visit to the Pearland Store. It will probably be our last. The store is not very clean, there were two brand new people on the registers that had no idea how to push buttons or slice bagels. We loved our Panera bread in San Diego, stores that look like this are going to give the corporation a bad name. I've included a picture of our "toasted" bagel. Take a look and see what you think. I have been to Panera a few times and I can hardly get a salad that is fresh. Shouldn't be too hard if it's one of the things you are a soup-salad-sandwich place. The salad is always wilted, almost spoiled. Can you believe they served this? Some of the leaves were definitely brown. I won't be back anymore. read more

I have been going to this branch for several months now. I don't understand why people are giving low stars when the staff are all respectful and attentive to your needs. I tried their drive thru, take-out, dine-in and delivery, all I received were great service. Last night I used their delivery service and used my bday free pastry. The delivery man when he arrived, apologized the pastry I ordered is no longer available. He told me they substituted it with a similar pastry. But he didnt mention that they added an extra pastry to compensate for not getting what I initially ordered. That to me is a great customer service. Not only have they served us a grilled cheese with the wrapper still on the cheese i have been told 3 times now that they do not have a cookie i know they have. My grandmother can not get out of the house but she loves this cookie from Panera and every time i go and ask them for this cookie, sometimes they have it sometimes they don't but i have been told multiple times they don't even sell it, until i talk to the manager who actually knows the products her job sells and sure enough they have this cookie. If it was up to me i would never go here but since my grandmother likes it, i do. My little cousin is the one that got the grilled cheese with a wrapper still attached. It's almost like they left it deliberately so the person wouldn't find it till they bit into it, and this wasn't a little piece of plastic this was half a piece of cheese covered in the plastic still, this was a child and regardless of the fact it was disgusting for him to get that in his food, he could've choked. Thank god he was old enough to know that wasn't supposed to be in there and tell us because I know children that would eat it anyway. This Panera doesn't care about its customers or the state or quality of its food. I dont know if the workers need to be trained better or if these are just people that refuse to do their job and Panera just keeps them on but something needs to change. As much as I love Panera Bread, this location has been mediocre at best. It's hit or miss with the service, mainly if you are doing Rapid Pickup. The cashiers are always welcoming and friendly, I will give them that, it's the service I am receiving from the kitchen that is disappointing. The last few times I have ordered online and picked it up from the restaurant, something is missing, whether it be the dressings on multiple salads or the chicken on all of them, which is even included in the name of the salad! I did not notice until I was home and actually drove back to have them replace my order (The cashier was very friendly and offered multiple pastries for the issue). Another thing I have noticed is the quality of the preparation of orders after about 6:00 pm. It seems like they are just slapped together in the evening and thrown in the bag. This became an issue especially when a sandwich with sauce on it was turned sideways and leaked all over the rest of my order. Overall, if you are going to eat at this location, eat in the restaurant itself and not from their takeout. read more

Normally my wife and I love Panera Bread food, however the one on Pearland Pkwy is not any good. We have been there two times thinking the first time may have been a one off. Certain parts of the restaurant had a odor and staff was not all that friendly. My wife's sandwich appeared to have been made with old bread. I think two chances was enough for us and we will not tell anyone to go there. Deserts looked pitaful. read more

Gave 1 star because I couldn't give 0. They cannot get a simple 2 item order correct. This is the first time I have used the app and my first time trying Panera Bread. Placed a quick pickup order for broccoli cheese soup and French onion soup. When I got home I discovered that I received chili instead of the French onion soup. When I called and asked for them to deliver the correct soup I was told that they would not deliver farther than 5 minuets from the store. Let me start off by I like other locations, but this one is different. 1st time I went they tried to give me expired bakery goods. Today, I went through the drive through. This particular location seems to be overpriced and has extremely small portion sizes. When I asked the manager regarding both, I was told "that's just the way she made them" (sandwiches). There was no care regarding the expensive two bite sandwich I just paid an arm and a leg for. This location is brand new. I've tried it twice, both through the drive through, and have had the same ridiculous experience both times. Also, sad to admit, but I cannot even see the detail on the drive-through menu. I love Panera, but this is easily worst Panera I've been too. The workers in the front end at the lobby just look miserable and not welcoming. They make you feel like you are a bother to them.
