I love this place. Generically, Panera fosters a welcoming ambiance, even without the fireplaces actively lit. This one is no exception. Panera also offers a "sip club" which is successfully managing to stay afloat and worth every penny. You pay a monthly fee and can get a free drink from the self-serve area any time you see a Panera. This is lovely, and brings them regular core business. Read their agreement for everything I've forgotten. I am not any kind of official representative. This location is my personal favorite. It is well-kept and responsive to its clientele, which is very diverse and obviously thriving under the expert care of the management. People feel safe here, and treat each other kindly and respectfully. As to the menu, I have my favorites and a couple of failures. Any of their boules are top notch. All of their sandwiches are a ditto. All salads but one also have my vote. The Strawberry Poppyseed, which sounds exciting has a deeply disappointing poppyseed vinaigrette with artificial sweetener in it. Get it with another salad dressing, or yoghurt, but not sure how to get the poppyseeds in that case. I hope they can fix this salad dressing, really. It has such potential to be delightful, like the rest of the menu, including their amazing flatbreads. Now, here's the final touch: family meals. Go find them. You're welcome. read more

I've never felt more insulted. My girlfriend and I arrived at 10:25am and were placing our breakfast order on the tablet service. As we entered our order, the system updated and did not let us order our sandwiches. The lady at the front played dumb and acted like all of the eggs from 30 seconds ago didn't exist. Hi good morning. I visited Panera Bread this morning and the service was really bad. There was no coffee and request the staff to refill the coffee but it took a long time for them to do it. Have to request it 3 times before I can get my coffee. By the time I got it I was haft done with my food. After I got coffee there were no lids have to ask again for lids. I am very disappointed in the downward trajectory this place continues to go on. I can deal with how small the proportions have gotten. But the prices have gotten out of control. This in and of itself makes it so not worth it. There is a place that I go to that will just blow Panera out of the water. But I'm not going to give that away. We used to love this restaurant....their soups are still delicious but their sandwiches are now more bread than fillings. We just weren't impressed with the changes to the services that they say they offer. That's because there's no service at this place and for that I'm sad. The food here is amazing. However, we had a concern for the cost. The prices are a little high for what we got. The store itself looked nice, however there were some tables that could've used cleaning. I will give the benefit of the doubt and say that people were just here, or employees were getting ready to clean it. Im surprised I havent written a review for this location yet, but the bread is always on point and a favorite pick up. Today I tried an actual meal and ordered the chipotle chicken avocado sandwich. Bread was toasted nicely, thin and crunchy. Chicken was juicy and flavorful, chipotle offered a nice kick and great flavor, and plenty of avocado, thick slice of gouda, and sweet peppers! Three of us had lunch 11/21/18. The food was tasty, portions seemed smaller than I remembered, yet I could be mistaken. The food was served on real plates, which is greatly appreciated. The flatware, however, was PLASTIC. This was totally a deterrent from eating at this location in the future. I can go to fast food across the street if I want plastic. Went there today for lunch with my family. There weren't many people in front of us. Still we had to wait long time before our order was ready. For my order, I ordered chicken quinoa. They charged me for chicken quinoa but gave me plain quinoa. I couldn't wait longer to bring it to their attention. I've been to a few Paneras and by far this was the worst one. It was dirty, there were stuff floating in the teas, tables still dirty after employees picked up dirty dishes and when my party received their sandwiches they had a tiny bit of turkey, enough for only half a sandwich. One of my family members recieved their sandwich on the wrong bread after making sure it would be on a different bread. They use plastic spoons, forks and knives unlike others that use metal. They really need to step up on their cleanliness and customer service. Will not be coming back to this location. read more

Came in just before 4pm on Tuesday 8/7/18. I know that Tuesday is the Bagel Tuesday deal, but whoever is ordering your bagels needs to up the order. I feel like every afternoon I come into this Panera, the bagel selection is 90% wiped out. And today, there was no Mac and cheese available. You have Mac and cheese advertised on almost every surface for your new entree items. You'd think you would make sure you didn't run out of it.... We ordered our food at 4pm (time on receipt) and our food didn't arrive at our table until 4:20pm. The only other people in the restaurant was a table full of managers having a meeting, and a couple that ordered after us. And after all that waiting, my panini was room temperature. When I tried to walk up to the kitchen to have it remade, there was no one back there. So I gave up. Super disappointed all around. We sat directly across from the table full of managers. You'd think one of them would've looked around and realized how unhappy their patrons are, waiting 20 minutes for room temperature food. I think from now on we'll drive out to Lancaster to get our Panera fix. read more

I enjoyed my experience here mainly because the order I placed was not fulfilled correctly, but the follow-up service was excellent and very above and beyond accommodating with graciousness. The parking was good and easy. I'm not familiar with Palmdale, and was "just driving through" but this was a wise choice of a place to stop and eat. read more
