Seriously where to start! This place is a staple of ours with our family and the best part is getting free items on our visits. I love the reward points system! My kids and I enjoy their broccoli and cheese bread bowls they are A-mazing! You have to try their coffee muffins! Very disappointed with my order this morning. I placed my order on Thursday for a Saturday Morning pick up for church. I attend a small church and we normally have Bible study after worship service, so I like to bring in snacks and drinks, but I digress. I ordered a bakers dozen (13) variety bagels, 2 cream cheeses, and a pastry ring. All to be picked up at 8:15am. The one star, is for their promptness, because the order WAS ready before 8:15 (I was not, as I was driving in from work-in Alhambra- and arrived a little late). Anywho, the bag was sealed so I did not check it until I came home. Bad idea. For starters, the pastry ring was bagged in an upright position instead of flat, which caused it to smush onto its side. And there was NOT A SINGLE DROP of cream cheese in my bag. How am I supposed to serve bagels to the congregation with no cream cheese. I like Panera, they are usually on point, but I was not impressed today. read more

Do NOT get anything from their fountain drinks! I will never go to this Panera again, it's worth the time and gas to go to Lancaster or somewhere else because of the terrible customer service. If you drink the water from the machine it tastes disgusting, there has to be mold in the machine meaning all of the sodas have MOLD in them. After complaining about their disgusting water numerous times, they offered to get me warm water from the sink in the back instead of a water bottle. The manager was extremely rude and says there's nothing wrong with the water, yet the employee tried it before asking her and spit it out immediately because it was so gross. I even overheard the manager saying that everyone ALWAYS complains about the water so just to give us warm water! She knows it's terrible and lies about it to my face. The food here is great, when they decide to give you enough of it. After getting a bowl of chicken noodle soup with literally one bite of food they did add more food to the bowl after complaining and waiting give minutes for the manager to decide she could spare the extra food. If they get rid of the terrible manager here and fix their health hazardous and disgusting tasting water I'd consider coming back, but in the meantime I'll be eating elsewhere. Panera is pricey enough you would think theyd at least have the money to pay to clean their machine or change out the water filter. read more

Horrible customer service. Messed up my order twice and was over charged. It took a lot of explaining to cashier to get my order straightened out. When that finally happened I thought all was good. I take my order and get to my destination with incorrect food. Ugh!!!!!! It's frustrating!!!! Won't be visiting a Panera again. I love Panera Bread & it kinda sucked that I walked into this one the way I did... It was dirty, the employees paid NO mind what so ever, attitude, it was ridiculous... Also, as I ordered my food, the employee handed my cup with his/her fingers INSIDE my cup.. It was disgusting. The food is good just like every Panera. It's the staff and poor management that assures I will NEVER eat there again. Tonight was the last straw. Waited forever to order, yet again (almost always) I arrived before 8:00pm and NO bread bowls. SURPRISE! I waited for my food after making alternate selections to hear the staff discussing that they were now out of sour dough bread. One worker to the other "Hey, I wanted that", "OK, I'll set some aside for you". They announce my name and say "we are out of sourdough, how about changing the bread and also out of blah, blah, blah". I chose to cancel my whole order and waste that 45 minutes of my life. This place used to be one of my favorites. The food was really good fresh quality and the service was awesome. How times have changed. Now, the sandwiches are slopped together and the meat almost makes me want to throw up. This is assuming they get your order right (which is 10% of the time). The person taking my order at the register speaks English as a second language and the person making my sandwich speaks Spanish as an ONLY language. What is the point in having food brought to you if I have to keep going back to get things corrected? I would rather this place be set up like a Subway where you just pick and choose your food along the way to make sure it is ordered properly. They have the cheapness of Subway, might as well include the customization! read more

I work at NASA and often have to get lunch catered. I normally have to order lunch for 15-20 people. The supervisor who has helped me is named Josh and has made this process so easy. He takes my orders efficiently and correctly everytime. I will return many time more. If you need help with large orders, ask for Josh! He is awesome!. P.S. Great food and great service! I wanted a booth, but all that was available was a table so I had to wait there a bit. Once the people left from the booth, I started moving over to the available booth. I visited this location for lunch this afternoon and found a bug in my sandwich. I immediately asked to speak to the manager Hana and showed her the bug in my sandwich. She replies "do you want me to make you another sandwich or..." in which I replied I want a refund. While refunding my order the only thing she said was did you eat the salad that came with the pick two. (The salad was on the tray with the sandwich I handed her) she honestly showed no compassion or sympathy for the fact that her restaurant is serving food with bugs in it. I don't even think she apologized for the whole situation. Not to mention they're serving all the customers ice out of a random ice tray because their fountain ice machine is broken and has been this way for a while now. I visit this location and others quite often for lunch but probably won't be doing so again after this experience! read more

The food is good, for their prices it should be great. The customer service is a mix of good/blah. Some are friendly and some have no people skills, cashier to server (female). The receipt says that your order should be correct every time. If it's not, they'll fix it and give you a free treat for your trouble. Absolutely love everything they have!! Delicious breakfast sandwiches, their soufflés are to die for! Lunchtime sandwiches are great! Soups yummy! Its been a while since eating at Pandera Bread Palmdale, now I remember why. First w 2 customers in front of me it took the cashier 10 min to get to my order. Plus another 15 min for my order, never called my name that the ORDER was ready on back counter. Another worker finally said " ur order on counter", bag was open w bread visible. Messed up, another customer was coughing on the booth next to the counter. Final we sat down to eat my wife's $12 Strwb Poppy chk salad was wilted, old looking & my Frontega chicken sandwich was half the sandwich in pic., I mean I lifted the bread to see the the chicken spread, no chunk of chicken like photo. Total lost for me = 24.21 which means won't be back there for a longer while! read more

Never had a bad meal at Panera, always tasty, hot and fresh. The only disappointment today is the condition of the bench seats. The cushion is worn to the point of when you sit down your bottom hits the lumpy wood frame and it is very uncomfortable to sit. I tried two different booths with the same results. Management needs to fork over some cash and replace them or have them re-stuffed. read more

Only reason they received 3 stars is their food and the great sweet girl that took our order. I asked for a box for my leftover salad. After putting my salad in said box I realized it was a defective box and the clear plastic top was missing. I went to the food pass counter and asked for a bigger box do I can just drop it in without having to scoop all out and into another box. She handed me the same box after telling her why I need another one. I then told her I asked for a bigger one please. She took the other one down and SLAMMED the bigger one on the counter! Panera Bread, Palmdale CA location. I'm a sales rep and order lunches for my customers, usually 10-25 people. I've used Panera Bread in other locations and the service has always been excellent, on time, and food has been consistently great, something that I can count on. Ordered from the Palmdale location and it was a disaster! Pulled up at curbside, used the app to let them know I was there, 10 minutes later, still no response. I arrived at 11:20am which was the time of my order and they weren't very busy at all, parking lot fairly empty. I went inside and asked for my order which was behind the counter and had to ask for someone to help me carry it out - the order was for 22 people so there were two large bags and two totes with 4 half gallon containers - why I had ordered for curbside pickup! After we placed the order in the car, I asked the Panera employee if everything was there and she said yes and walked away. I looked through the bags and found that 22 bags of chips were missing, no cups for the tea and no napkins and utensils. I went back in and asked for the rest of the order and they had to throw things in a bag, more time wasted. When I arrived at the lunch and was setting up, I looked in the bag and there were only plastic knives! The sandwiches were already cut in half, so not sure why they sent knives, and no forks for the salads that had been ordered. All in all, the food was good, not as good as other locations because the salads had some older lettuce, and the service was poor. I won't order from this location again. read more

I love Panera. Their fresh chicken and meats on sandwiches and salads are great. Great selection and quality of salads and sandwiches. Service is always fast. Wish they had more selection on their bagels as by afternoon they are picked over. Their dessert menu could be a bit more varied and better stocked.
