This was my first time coming to this location in Foundry Row. I'm originally from Owings Mills but moved away about 7 years ago. It's nice to come back to see that they've built things up and added new places! When I saw foundry row, I really did expect the restaurants and places in it to be nice, new, and clean. In this Panera bread, there was food and trash on the tables and floors. We came on a Saturday late in the afternoon after shopping, so maybe there were crowds in here before us during the lunch hour. But still, was there nobody at work to clean up the dining area? I think in any Panera bread the workers get so overwhelmed with the lines and the bakery and calling numbers that they forget to clean up the dining areas! The food was great, which isn't uncommon for Panera. I got the pick 2 soup and a salad. However they need to do a better job with ensuring cleanliness. This place has not been open that long and shouldn't look like this. read more

Checked their menu (for this location) on-line. Decided to get the Value Duet at $7.99. When I went to the location to dine-in, the menu showed no such item. I asked about the 2 side order shown on the large Menu Board. Associate explained to me the 2-side order could be a salad-soup, or salad-sandwich, or soup-sandwich, each 1/2-sized. The half asian salad 2-side was posted for $7.05. I decided on the asian salad and 10-veggie soup. I asked what was in the 10-veggie soup and 3 different employees at the counter could not answer my question. The charge was much higher than $7.05 and I thought that was wrong. So, I decided to not get the soup (I would not know what I was buying in the first place). I waited for my order to get filled. It took awhile, so I asked to speak with the store manager. His name was Chris. When I explained to him about my experience, he said any issues with the menu being confusing is something I needed to raise with Panera corporate. Also, he said someone should have been able to answer my question about what's in the veggie soup. He himself didn't even attempt to answer that. I'm not a ping pong ball to be tossed aside as a customer onto corporate. Great new addition to Foundry Row! You can definitely tell the staff is here to please and they are doing a great job! The new location is open and fresh and has a fireplace which makes it even more warm and welcoming! I love panera for their fresh menu choices and now they have new technology too. This was the first time I saw the pagers and the electronic board that shows what place your name falls in the line. I ordered the pick two with a salad and sandwich and there were no mistakes with my order! Great job Foundry Row Panera!!! I will be back! The food is great but the window person at pick has a bad attitude and poor customer service. She is light skin and has a black curly ponytail. I informed her that someone took my order and she got smart with me and said I should not have waited 30mins that's why my order was taken. I was not waiting 30mins. I arrive 5mins after I received the order ready notification and it was gone. The rude comment towards me was uncalled for and she should be retrained on how to talk to customers. The Panera in the Foundry Row Mall at Owings Mills is above and beyond. The food is delicious and well-presented. The restaurant is roomy and its decor, furnishing, and street view all add up to a pleasant atmosphere in which to enjoy good food. The persons on staff--behind the counter, in food prep, and the managers--are well-trained, compassionate, and efficient. I've eaten at many Paneras, but at none more classy than this. The best thing about thus Panera is that they have outside tables. That's something that's missing around here in Baltimore. However, good coffee and baked goods are not hard to find around here. Which is why Panera should rethink their menu and attitude. I ordered a plain croissant, which was plain awful. No taste whatsoever. When I told the manager (quite unpleasant even before he heard me out) and asked if I could xchange for something else I was told flatly "no" , not unless something was outright wrong with it. Yes, the taste. Or no taste. "Sorry no can do." How stupid was that ? I haven't dealt with that kind of attitude for a l-o-n-g time. Definitely not coming back HERE. read more

Super impressed with this location. The food comes out fresh, the food preparers are quick, efficient and clean!!!! I saw the young lady change her gloves at least 3 times!!! I loved that! They were mindful of how long food sat in the window. The decor was nice. A little different than the typical Panera. I enjoyed my visit. read more

We waited and waited to hear when our two bagels were ready. I went to the counter and asked the employee how do we know when they are ready. She said our name would be called, well after 20 minutes we found another counter. We asked him if our bagels were ready and he kept calling our name! We never saw our names on the digital board either. This was a terrible experience and to make it worse the employees could have given us better direction since she saw us several times at the "wrong"" counter. read more

I avoid going to the Panera in OM almost from day one. I'd rather go to the one in Pikesville which is out of the way from my home. When I get home with my soup, it's still piping hot. Today I went to the one in OM to get some Broccoli Cheddar soup. Initially the soup wasn't in stock according to the portal. When I mentioned it to the cashier that this was only reason I came here, she immediately said "Oh we have some but it's gonna be about 5 min." I wait, get my order, go home only to find out that the soup was cold!! Not only cold but watered down. I tried to reheat it but It doesn't look appetizing at all. I placed an on-line order for 6 sandwiches and 6 salads for a 10:15a pick-up time for an 11am client meeting. The order wasn't ready until 11am...45 minutes late...and the employees could have cared less. There were no napkins or utensils in the bag as well. I have been a regular patron at Panera Bread for years and the disappointments have been few until I recently purchased the Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice Soup. Halfway through my bowl I felt something hard in my mouth, what, it's soup everything is soft right? WRONG, it was a hard pice of plastic in my soup. There were several items missing from my order. No one was at the register. An employee, Marlon, walked behind the counter, made eye contact but silently returned to the kitchen. When I asked him why he didn't offer to help, he said, "I don't do cash and you were just standing there staring; I didn't know what you wanted." I replied that I'm the customer he should ask if I needed anything. He argued that I could've "waved and gotten his attention". He persisted until I asked for the manager. He rolled his eyes and obviously begrudgingly went to get her. The manager thanked me for my feedback but said little else. We left dejected and dissatisfied. We shouldn't have to argue with employees, especially when they didn't fulfill our order properly in the first place. This is untenable. read more

So, I ordered a bagel and a drink. Nothing special or fancy about the visit. The staff are pretty slow moving and don't appear to be "eager" to get customers situated. This is the closest Panera to me and it is THE WORST! They LITERALLY never get the entire order correct. The quality of the food is less than other locations. I often call when they mess up, but then they want you to come BACK to rectify the issue. The solution is always inconvenient, so In the end there is rarely resolution. AVOID this location at all costs. After yet ANOTHER disappointing visit, I will simply drive the extra distance and go to another location from now on. This location is one of the Panera's that recently 'upgraded' their panini toasting machine and the replaced product is awful. Instead of crispy delicious paninis, you have a product similar to a toasted sub at Subway... It's totally unappetizing. I seriously hope they change it back because the new product is terrible. read more

They always get your order wrong. I do rapid pickup. I never get mayonnaise or mustard on my sandwich. The last time I got no lettuce or tomato but a load of mayonnaise and mustard. This is the worst Panera location I've been to. They never call out the orders/place them on the shelf and don't turn them so that you can see the names on the bags. The employees aren't friendly or hygienic (no hairnets or hats, masks barely on during Covid, etc. and never apologize or acknowledge you when something is wrong). Order is almost always wrong and even when it's right it's poorly done (every hot panini is never toasted or warm) and the serving sizes are inconsistent. The food is good when it comes out right but that seems to be a rare case here, so it's more the location than the company. read more

This location is pretty fancy. Honestly the fanciest Panerai I've ever gone to. They have pagers for you when your food is ready, like some more up scale resturants have when you're waiting to be seated. I had a broccoli and cheddar soup and fuji apples chicken salad (You Pick 2) on my most recent visit, and it did not disappoint. I will definitely return to this location. read more

This is the worse Panera Bread location that I have ever been to. I am very disappointed. My food was poorly put together and some of the ingredients were missing from my Mediterranean bowl. The staff had informed me that they didn't have any containers for the sides, so I was not able to order any sides with my meal. I will not be going back to this location. Worst panera I have ever been to, and I LOVE Panera bread. Yes, everything is new and clean, but that's about it. I love Panera Bread and eat there frequently. However, the Foundry Row location in Owings Mills is the worst I have been to. They have gotten my orders wrong more times than they have gotten them right. One time I was so disappointed with my order I emailed the restaurant and the manager was very responsive and kind, but they messed up my order again today and I am finished hoping it will improve here. I never write reviews because this place has always been consistent with their food and customer service. Sadly, today I ordered food on the Panera app and once I arrived I let the app know I was here. I had to wait 10 minutes (which usually never happens because they are always a on point) but today I had to call them to see if my order was okay and the women who answered had a slight attitude already and once the staff never came outside with my food she threw it to me and said "enjoy your order" with an attitude and walked away before I could say thank you. I'm disappointed in the customer service I received today because I am a big believer in treat others the way you want to be treated and that was not fair in how I was treated. I love Panera Bread - REALLY. -And I don't do their marketing or work there, so there is no special interest in my rating. Sandwiches and salads are fresh (and I'm religiously organic); reasonably priced; excellent business model (i.e. you can order online and pick it up, order there, have delivery; and you get points for free or discounted stuff!). The food is always ready on time when I do "Rapid Pickup"; orders are done correctly; and staff at this location is friendly. I've been going to this location daily for the past couple months. The service here moves as fast as a sloth. There is zero urgency behind their food prep. I ordered a coffee drink which the counter put in wrong, I returned it to the window and instead of just giving me the one I thought I ordered, the manager on duty had to check my receipt. Yes, dude, your employee put it in wrong. Between my breakfast wrap and a coffee drink I think I waited a good 10 -15 mins for these quick items to appear in the window. They have the worse customer service I have ever experienced. The place is dirty, filthy and the food is cold. I order a soufflé, waited 10 minutes to get it and the thing was ice cold. Took it back to the pickup station and they had the nerve to tell me to use the microwave to heat it up! If I wanted a microwave meal I would not have come here. Eat air before coming here.
