First time at this location. This Panera needs some serious management intervention. Ordered online 3 hours early. Arrived at the scheduled time. There were 5 orders ahead of mine, mine wasn't even started. The employees were clearly stressed out. Waited 15 minutes for my order. Lots of other people in the same situation, just waiting around. I've never been to a Panera that was so disorganized. It was not the employees, I felt sorry for them. Clearly, they were trying, but there weren't enough of them to fill the orders. And nobody was in charge. There's no point in ordering ahead if you have to wait anyway. A few minutes, ok, but 15 minutes is ridiculous. Oh, and I got an email 5 minutes after my scheduled pickup time telling me that my order was delayed. Way below Panera standards. read more

Don't expect this Panera to be the clubby cafe you're familiar with. Panera's newest concept--the Mobile Pick-up Lane--is for grab and go dining. There's no on-site cash register here because staff doesn't take orders. You manage the entire dining process except for making and packing your meal. Place your order through the Panera app, or on a tablet inside the door. Then, pick up your bagged meal from a shelf. Even the drive-thru window is for pick-up only; there is no order board. If you're unfamiliar with the app the ordering process will take longer than simply telling your order to a staffer. (Sometimes technology is not for our benefit.) In my case I'd received an opening day promotion by email. The offer didn't appear in my app so I had to go back to the email to create the order. I was told the order of a scone would take 10 minutes--okay if I'm traveling to the store but a long wait as I sat in the parking lot. However, I chanced it and pulled to the pick-up window, gave my name, and the scone was handed to me. Inside the cafe there are a few cafeteria-style tables in a small dining space that gives off an "eat and go" vibe. There are no oversized tables or comfy booths to catch up with a friend, discuss business, or lounge over studies. A few outside tables are available for the dozen or so days a year when St. Louis weather is actually comfortable for eating outdoors. The menu and pricing seem the same as at the company's larger cafes. read more

This Panera Bread is very nice and very quiet especially! It is a great place to study for a test, or catch up on schoolwork! The food here was very good and filling. The service was very fast and the workers were very friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this place! read more

This place is so slow during lunch and there is no one in the drive through. They have not given me the extra cheese and other items that you have to pay extra for it. Also there prices are insane for a freaking bowl of soup. It is soup!!!! read more

I have never left a review for a restaurant in my 30 years of life. I always thought people that did it had no life and were being too obtuse. Tonight tipped the scales. After a long week, I was really looking forward to treating ourselves with some Panera gift cards we had. Whoever was working at Panera tonight ruined that. First, she claimed they "had no more bread" to make sandwiches. Then, she said they magically found "just enough bread for those sandwiches". When we got home, we realized my sandwich didn't have any bacon on it. Listen, it's not the end of the world. It was all paid on gift cards. I just think as a company you should evaluate your standards for this location and have some conversations with people to improve you're offering. Simply put: if this meal wasn't paid for by gift cards, I'd be pretty pissed off I dropped $30 on a sandwich of bread, cheese, and chicken. read more

Poor service. My wife was handed her food without a cup for her drink. The server immediately took out. She stood there for at least 5 minutes waiting for the guy to come back to get her cup. Also, there appeared to be mold on the bread. She told the server about it. He then took a glance at the bread, and said it was avocado. He stood there for a second, he then took the bread and threw it in the trashcan. He then took a new piece of bread and tossed it on my wife's tray. Not cool at all. I had a toasted Italiano. The sandwich was completely trenched in Greek dressing, that I used 10 napkins trying to eat it. Completely unacceptable. This was at the O'Fallon store on Highway K. read more
