A new updated Panera Bread opened on Liberia Avenue in Manassas! It has outdoor seating and inside there's plenty of indoor seating. Inside is large and bright. Service was good and so was the food. Please go and check it out

It's 11:30 in the morning, and you'd think a brand-new Panera would be shining like a freshly baked baguette. Instead, the floors looked like someone had thrown a "crumbs & coffee sticks" party and forgot to invite the cleaning crew. Tables? Dirty. Chairs? Sticky. My group actually had to roll up our sleeves and wipe down our own eating area--basically DIY Panera housekeeping. On top of that, coffee drinkers beware: the refill station looked like it was running on fumes. Thermoses were playing hide-and-seek, and you have to hunt down a staff member just to keep the caffeine flowing. This place really needs a dedicated person just to keep the dining area clean and to keep an eye on the coffee station. It's a shame, because the food is solid Panera quality, but eating it while staring at tissues on the floor kills the vibe. Bottom line: brand-new place already looking tired. Someone get this location a broom, a mop, a coffee refill, and maybe a motivational speech.

I ordered the chicken avocado melt. It came out in under 10 minutes and packaged up securely. The cashier was also patient as I was choosing my meal.

Fraudulent charges

Be careful when ordering via the app for pickup. I NEVER signed up for this!! Butt apparently they will sign you up with a sip club and will not REFUND you money for charges except for the most recent charge. I NEVER signed up or even used this service and have been charging me for months!!!

Panera is a nice, relaxing atmosphere to hang out or get work done. The food is tasty and I like the healthy menu options. I leave feeling good, knowing that I ate something more nutritious than typical fast food. Service is usually pretty quick, but it depends on how busy they are. My order has been messed up before, but they will fix it if you let them know. It looks like they will be getting a drive-thru soon at the new location, so that will be nice too! *Note to corporate, please bring back the buffalo chicken melt!! This was my favorite sandwich and I hate to see it go! *

Toasted. REALLY?

The upside is that they do have no-cost access to Internet. The food prep staff doesn't all have a command of the English language. If you can't tell the difference between butter and cream cheese (TWICE) you shouldn't be preparing food orders. I ordered AND PAID FOR a sesame bagel, sliced and toasted, with butter. I got an untoasted, sliced sesame bagel with cream cheese. When I brought the unopened cream cheese to their attention, the person didn't understand!

Always sending out gorgeous products lmao

Look at this sandwich. Would you say this is worth your money?? The cheese doesn't even look real.

Chicken teriyaki bowll

I got their chicken teriyaki bowl and finished it in less than 5 bites. It was so disappointing. I paid nearly $14 for this bowl but it had 6 pieces of chicken and probably a few broccoli in there. I used to really like this location but every time I have been there, I have had a bad experience. I understand due to inflation prices are going up but to give me a kids size bowl and expect me to pay $14 is ridiculous.

***** Rapid Pick-up Review ***** I kid you not, as I pulled out of the line of the nearby Starbucks, I pulled up the Panera app on my phone and proceeded to order my oatmeal. By the time I got to the other end of the parking lot, parked, locked my vehicle and walked in the door, a young lady was bringing my bag to be placed on the rapid pick up shelf. If that is not rapid, then I may need to pull out a dictionary and reacquaint myself with the definition. Everything was in the bag already, my oatmeal of course, which was piping hot. To the point I had to blow it first in order to eat it. Napkins and a spoon were placed on top. I did not have to grab anything extra which was a huge plus. Looks like I reaped all the rewards of rapidness on this visit.

Stopped by for lunch with a friend. Was sad to see no French onion soup option so I opted for Tomato soup. Got the tomato soup and tomorrow mozzarella sandwich. Food was good, also didn't see frontega chicken sandwich on the menu so my friend was disappointed about that too

I was in the area and stopped in to get carryout for dinner. I got there around lunchtime and they…read morewere pretty busy, which is a good sign. The guy working the front was very friendly and helpful. I ordered my 3 orders of chicken Pho and told him I needed to travel about an hour home. I also told him to pack the white onions separately and to keep the green onions with the regular food and he did just that. He also went into detail showing me how they packed everything. He packed it all nice and tight for the trip and it made it home perfectly. We heated everything up for dinner and it tasted GREAT! The broth was flavorful, clear, and very nicely seasoned. The chicken was abundant and perfectly cooked white meat, sliced nice and thin and was still very moist. The veggies were fresh, clean, and the basil was very bright green. And they sriracha they provided tasted homemade, as it was different, but it was sooo very tasty and had a nice spice to it as well. I'd most definitely return!

So nothing is perfect, right? Thats my view on this place…read more They seemed to be on the verge of getting busy when I walked in. It took a while to be seated, though I think its probably a seat yourself situation and I didnt know. No signs said that but that was the vibe I got as I was being seated. Additionally after ordering my food, it took like 30 minutes for the first thing to come to the table. Normally im patient because I read my kindle and I have time to kill. Thst day i didnt so I was a bit stressed over the time. Typically places have my pho on the table inside of 15 minutes. Ive been spoiled lol they also forgot that I ordered extra bean sprouts and toppings, then when I reminded them they only brought out extra sprouts. It was fine, though slightly annoying. The waiter did come ask me if I wanted more, after the fact but I just said it was fine. I juat wanted to eat and honestly it wasnt that big if a deal. Everything was good, but not phenomenal. It was well worth the price in my opinion. I paid about $29 for a large bowl of pho with a decent amount of meat.... more meat than most places give you, a Thai tea, and an order of rolls which I got 1 crispy and 1 soft even though the soft and crispy rolls are separate orders. They did it special one of each for me which was nice! Honestly that price isnt bad. Now for the nothings perfect aspect. The broth was not as salty as I like. Pretty light actually. Which isnt horrible, because the typical flavors were there but when you dont have enough saltiness, that sometimes gets lost. I dress my pho up, so in the end it didnt matter much, but was something I noted. The rolls were a bit thinner than I usually find. But again that was ok with me for today because with the bowl of pho, those, plus the Thai tea, I was stuffed. Any bigger and I probably would have burst. And then there was the Thai tea. It was ok, but not phenomenal. Honestly that one I was on the verge of regretting. It was rather bitter, but just on the verge of what I would tolerate so... again... not perfect but im definitely NOT displeased. If I was in the area again id probably try another pho place, but i would also revisit this place. Overall I give it 3 stars. Ill be going back one day to update the review. When a place is like this, borderline in my stars.. like a 3... I typically give them a second chance because sometimes there are bad days and this place i feel has the potential to be amazing.
