I should start off by saying that I waited in the drive thru for way to long because the people inside were prouncing around like they had nothing better to do. I got the power almond quinoa oatmeal, and unfortunately it was poorly seasoned and the epitome of healthy food must taste disgusting. With my oatmeal I ordered a simple hazelnut hot coffee with cream and sugar and it was absolutely disguising. The coffee tasted burnt, not to mention didn't taste like hazelnut at all. It's like any other panera you been to except more up to date and more modern. Heck only one I been to with a drive food. Food is average at best and probably not any more healthier than other fast food places. But I would opt for this than those other places. While this is a chain - I have to say, every single location has it's up and or downs! This location is a good one. I've never had an excessive wait or and incorrect order (except that one time they added mayo to my sandwich - but it wasn't a hassle to wipe off) I've never seen this location messy or anywhere near dirty, everything in the front is arranged nicely and the bakery section is always organized with the days treats. The staff are quick to help you order and in my case of "particular eating" - on more than one occasion (ok, ok, every occasion) they've been able to help me customize my order to my liking! You're given a little buzzer to let you know when your food is ready and there is plenty seating, inside and outside. Nothing bad to say about this location and I will continue to frequent here! read more

I am a sucker for a cute smile and tasty food. That was about the only thing that went right. At 3pm panera staff was so deep in the weeds it gave me anxiety on their behalf. They just kept smiling. Fyi, if they are busy...camp out at the delivery counter. They don't call out the names loudly and the vibrating doohickeys don't always go off. There were two miffed customers who sat and waited at their table, then did the not so subtle angry sigh when they arrived to get their food. Panera is great. Love the vision. Food is consistently tasty. The customers....some are expecting table side service and an inhuman ability to know their order just by the sight of their sour look. At one point I took to remembering the names called out from the staff for each order. And when "miffed Marge" came looking I would redirect her and point out her food. I go to this Panera location from time to time due to it being on the way to my office and to my customers. I typically will pick up a few bagel packs for customers and they are always nice and friendly. Today I was doing a "blitz" on new customers and stopped in to pick up breakfast (for my morning visits) and sweets for my after lunch visits. All in all I spent over $200 at Panera today and they really stepped up their service by dedicating one lady (don't know her name but I believe she's Eastern European and does a phenomenal job). She went out of her way to make sure I got exactly what I needed and even helped me carry out the multiple bags of products to my car. I will definitely return! read more

Could I give it zero stars?! I love Panera but this location was utterly disgusting. The greens were actually rotten... Slimy, putrid in salad & on sandwich. Chicken salad so runny that it was like soaking the bread in water. Tables and floors were dirty and littered. I should have known better when two people in front of me came back to complain. I'll drive the extra 15 minutes to go to another Panera. It was also conspicuously empty at 12:30pm on a gorgeous Saturday. We left and went up the street to 5 Guys which was packed, but two people were still out cleaning the dining area and the food looked good and not like it would get us sick. Just got a chicken Cobb salad from this location and got home to find that the avocado was brown. The dressing was not good and the salad wasn't enjoyable. Sloppy is the only word I can use to describe it. The workers were chit chatting the whole time and it didn't sound like they knew what they were doing. I've never had any issues. I was given a reward one time for free iced coffee for a month. Every day after class I went for my iced coffee in the drive thru, and the girl working was so friendly. Inside is always clean, and they are always pretty fast at getting everything out. Seating is better than the other locations, even the outdoor seating is okay. Location is convenient. The food is Panera.. It's nothing fancy.. I do like their chicken Caesar salad and also their broccoli and cheddar soup.. Bread bowls are awesome. Stopped in last night for a quick bite with family. The employees were very friendly. They answered All of our menu questions. They even made some suggestions for us that were great. Even the "picky eaters" found healthy choices that they loved! The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were spotless. I was impressed! We were served very quickly for a busy face paced Panera. I was surprised to see a drive through on the way out!! I must say most of the Panera's that I have visited have not been this fast! I am used to standing to wait for a table to open up. Not here! I went through the drive thru and ordered to go Bala bowl with chicken and received no chicken with my order and a piece of torn up bagett just thrown in the bag. I thought was disgusting. I paid over $10 for this meal expecting it to be what I seen on tv. This was not the case pissed me right off. I called the manager (which was not available) to put in my complaint. This review is solely based on the delivery from this location. I work in the Lincoln mall and being able to have "healthy" food available to be delivered to my busy store is awesome. They are always quick, the food is made right every time, and the delivery drivers are very nice. Only once did they forget my coffee, out of a dozen or so deliveries. In terms of accuracy, this place is the worst. I eat here weekly because it's near gymnastics and my kid loves the Mac and cheese, but they almost never get the order right. Now, I place my orders on line, so it's not miscommunication, just complete apathy. I order rapid pick up, get my food and immediately bring it back to get what I ordered. The tag on the bag is correct, but what's inside varies. They are generally very confused with the process of correcting it, and there is usually a manager-looking dude back there that does not provide any kind of support to the staff or reassurance/apology to me. The food is great and all but.. Some of the cashiers and people working there have bad attitudes. I must say that our cashier, Robin, refused to get us a cookie from the glass case when we asked for one. There were bagged cookies, but they didn't look good and they were smooshed, so we asked for the one in the glass case. The cashier replied "they're the same thing, they're the same thing. You put it in your mouth, chew it up and it's smooshed.." My sister told her "Well our sister just got out of the hospital and we want it to look good for her." This is true and we want our sister, who has a bad appetite as it is, to be enjoying her cookie. I'm honestly disappointed in Robin.. Robin had a straight face and kept saying "I was just kidding, I was just kidding, I was just kidding." I love panera, this location is closest to me so when it opened it was very convenient but they have definitely fallen off. My last experience here they forgot to give me the bread bowl for my soup which isn't such a big deal, I've worked in the food business many years I understand when things get messed up. What sucked was the inconvenience of having to go back and get it. I'm over that though but yesterday (my first time back since my last bad experience) November 2nd I ordered the VEGETARIAN squash soup and as I stirred it up to cool it off for my nephew who can NOT eat meat there was a nice chunk of meat in it which contaminated the "VEGETARIAN SOUP" not sure how it got in there but you can't call something a vegetarian soup and have meat floating in it. It wasn't a small piece of meat either it was a chunk that would be put on a sandwich or something. My nephew could have gotten extremely ill if he ate that soup. I feel sorry for any vegetarian who ate that soup yesterday. We will not be returning to this location. read more

I usually have a great experience with Panera Bread. However, this location has not been one of them. On my last delivery, It took an HOUR for them to delivery my order, which only consisted of 2 things. I work right across the street, and they texted me saying they were on the way, and did not get my food until 30 minutes later. when the food arrived, my sandwich was soggy and warm. On my delivery today, they gave me a drop of dressing for my salad, and my sandwich looks like it was thrown together in 2 seconds, with soggy bread. Worst location I have been in to. The person putting together order did not give me my cup. When I told her it was large. She gave me a small. That was not the worst part. I was not feeling well. So I went in for a quick to go order. When I arrived home. My bread was not with my chicken noodle soup. My ham and cheese sandwich was a joke. I got one tiny slice of ham. A little piece of cheese. No mayonnaise as requested. And t o small slivers of onion. I paid 14 and change for my order. Because I had a $2 off bowl of soup. I will never return to this location again. I like to stop for a bagel every now and then, and Panera is a great choice. This location has a drive through which is a bonus. Oh wait... not really... their drive through is the slowest EVER! Anytime I go, I place my order (a bagel with butter and a diet pepsi) and then I wait and wait and wait. Once you get the order, the bag has a bagel, three butters, a knife, and a napkin. What is the point of drive through if you have to wait 6-8 minutes to get an undressed bagel? I mean, if it was a big order, I'd understand. Then, on a random morning I decided to stop and get a plain croissant (it is 7:30am, mind you). They inform me that they are out of croissants because the order before me used them for their two sandwiches. So at 7:30am the entire order of croissants for a store with BREAD in the title is sold out! Wow. This store needs help! Also - if management ever decides to read yelp - it is inefficient for the drive thru person to take all the orders AND then fill all orders by themselves. There are a bunch of people milling around the counter while the drive thru person is slaving away. I've watched managers standing and laughing in conversation instead of helping the window. Absolutely horrible experience. I'm wondering about the mindsets that are regulars here. First off the parking is ridiculous. Just the design of the lot and crowded location is cause for concern. Right away your visit is not so good. Then as today it was just about 2pm and the line had extended outside the doors of the restaurant. I'm standing there wondering why am I doing this. Reason being there is very little healthy food options around RI. So I waited then I got to order, the clerk rang up the wrong prices and had to correct everything. All I got was a bowl of pasta. The order was wrong, then fixed. I said that's it No more at Panera. Way overpriced, yet one picks up their food and then is expected to bus the table. I said the hell with Panera. I have given them several chances now. Also this is not the type of restaurant for a drive thru. The location cannot handle the cars. I think it impacts the service inside. I have to say I feel sorry for the employees. I could not do the job either. The place is so overwhelmed it cannot possible run its business properly. People will stop going, that is if they have a brain in their head. I think Panera management really needs to make a trip to this new location and get things right. This is the second time I've entered a review for this location. I avoid it because I've never once gotten what I've wanted from here. I was in the area and I wanted soup. Panera's autumn squash soup is really great, by the way, as is their turkey, apple, and cheddar sandwish!. I ordered a bowl to go from the counter inside (if I order it through the drive through, I know I'm going to have to go inside to get the order fixed anyway, so I save myself the trouble). Before leaving, I checked the bag. The soup was missing the pumpkin seeds (the best part of the soup) and there was no spoon. I brought it back, they fixed the soup and told me they were out of spoons. Well, had I known that, I wouldn't have gotten soup, am I supposed to use a straw? At least she could have included a straw in the bag. And they could have apologized upfront and told me they were out of spoons when picking up the order instead of sneaking it by me to find out later when I actually had to eat/drink the soup. Since the girl at the pick up counter didn't help me, I went to the person at the register to see if she could find a spoon. Nope. The only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of one for the usual poor service is because the manager offered me one of their metal spoons to take with me without even blinking, so points for him, he didn't have to do that! I figured since I had his attention, I also complained about my soup. I ended up with a coupon, which I will use elsewhere. read more
