    Ranch Cobb Salad

This isn't the first time they messed up my order. Before I ordered the ranch Cobb salad, but instead got a Greek goddess salad. I love the food at Panera but it is so immensely disappointing to get the wrong thing. But today I just wanted a ranch Cobb salad with no bacon I didn't mean strip the salad of the onions too. It even says on the receipt no bacon but it never says no onion so where's my onion?

    Bread Ciabatta Cheesesteak

Ordered via Grubhub very disappointed ordered soup and sandwich ciabatta French dipper and broccoli cheese soup also ciabatta cheesesteak and broccoli cheese. Soups were wonderful. Sandwiches were awful. See picture. No meat bread burnt. Will not order here again.

Where's the tuna? Food was as bad as reviewers have reported over many years of reviews at this location. I didn't check Yelp before dining here. I've never had such poor food and service at a Panera. Find another location if you must. Tuna is under the tomato in the photo.

Over the last few months this location is ON IT every morning. Everyone from the managers to staff- Heather is always super friendly and all of the front! The sip club is also the best !

Congested area for coffee, the microwave, and now the toast your own bagel station ... All nicely placed above the trash receptacle.

Ordered bagels to-go and when I asked for them to be toasted the cashier pointed toward the trash receptacle / coffee bar area and said there's the toaster. I was confuses because I've never had to toast my own bagels at a bagel shop/ bakery. Plus, there were 4 people waiting in line for the toaster. I asked if that was the only toaster and she said yes. As I approached the toaster the people in front of me were also grumbling about it. I know I sounds spoiled, but it's odd to have a "toast your own" station that's crammed into a small space, with the toaster placed on top of the microwave, that's over the trash receptacle. Also, those wanting coffee couldn't access the pots because of the combusted area with people waiting to use the one toaster. Random, at best. Come on, Panera! We expect better service. Sorely disappointed.

Whistle Stop Coffee Shop is a fantastic coffee shop on Main Street in Lee's Summit…read more I met a friend there this morning for coffee, but I was able to order a French Vanilla pour over. The beans were ground fresh for me. I love French Vanilla coffee, but it's not my wife's favorite. So it was nice to be able to get a cup and enjoy it. I also ordered biscuits and gravy and a glass of milk, which were very tasty. I brought my wife home a cinnamon roll which she enjoyed. She said it was good. The front of the house is pretty bustling and lively. At the back of the restaurant, there's a quieter room and outdoor dining on the patio. I will definitely be returning to this location. Special shout out to the staff, who were magnificent.

I really wanted to like this place. I've lived in LS since 2008 and hadn't gotten around to this…read moreplace. And I'd heard good things. So I'll start with the good: - charm. It's a pretty downtown location. The decor is cozy and nicely decked out for Christmas. - chairs. They spent a little extra on padded leather to save our butts. - service. They're quick and polite. - cleanliness. Now for the less good: - layout. Everything feels tight. It's prettier than it is practical. - drink quality. My daughter found her spiced chai (pictured) overly sweet. And if you look at the pic, you'll notice that they gave her basically 2/3 of a cup. That pic was taken before she took a single sip (yes, I know the straw I used to show the amount looks used; I did use it to search for a tea bag in my tea fog. See below!). My cinnamon/butterscotch tea fog was, to put it politely, unimpressive. I left it steeping at least 15 minutes because it was way too hot to drink. And then I had to get a straw to search for tea bags, because it tasted like hot foamy water and I was convinced they'd forgotten to put the tea bags in. Well, they hadn't. There was one tea bag. My standard of comparison is Gusto over by Longview, which makes the best tea fogs in town. They use two tea bags and it tastes like heaven. Whatever they served me at Whistle Stop tasted like perfumed water. So overall, I give it a 3/5. Points for location and decor and nice chairs. But the main attraction should be the drinks, and they were both kinda terrible. And there's just no excuse for serving someone 2/3 of a cup when we're paying $6 for a small drink.

I'm left wondering... were we in…read morea parallel universe or something‽‽‽ We stopped in after an appointment I'd had on a Monday in Lees Summit. We decided to have a quick early dinner here in town, and did a Yelp search for "great places to eat near me". This place was high in the list. We read the reviews and found ourselves driving around a building that had ZERO markings for the Burn Theory Fire Kitchen on it, but our Maps app said we were here. Turned out, the food for Burn Theory Fire Kitchen was cooked in a food truck in a parking lot and served inside the Diametric Brewing Company which is located at the address listed for Burn Theory Fire Kitchen. I will say, my husband ordered a special beer called "Cherry Street Wheat" and it was very unusual, and seriously tasty!!! I'm not a beer fan, but would drink one of these any day! So, getting back to the food... we'd both ordered a trio of street tacos that we did a mix and match of with their various proteins. We ordered this way to share with each other. We also love to discover new and unusual bites. After reading the reviews and their menu, we were excited for the promise of something uniquely delicious... and were completely disappointed!!! All but one (excluding the shrimp) of the six different tacos we'd ordered, bordered on the inedible side. The proteins were seemingly overcooked, folded into little leathery tortilla shells, and served to our table cold, dry and tough. They tasted as if they had been reheated from the weekends leftovers. Maybe we came on the wrong day. Perhaps if we'd visited on a weekend, or on the same day they were actually cooking the meats initially, we'd had a better experience. I don't know, and frankly do not plan to find out. Additionally, to be fair, their condiments (ie: the Ketchup and BBQ sauce) seemed to be made fresh and made from scratch. They were sadly the best part of our meal. Honorable mention to the Diametric Brewing Company which served us one of the most delicious and unique beers we've ever tasted!

They bring it straight to you when it's done. The guy who brought ours was super nice. He asked if we needed any utensils or sauce. I was just having a beer and then was taking my grub to go so he brought me a bag to carry everything easily. I ordered the Burn Theory Cubano: House smoked ham and pulled pork, melted Swiss cheese, pickles and house made mustard on toasted brioche. This sandwich was huge! It's very shareable if you're ordering sides. The meat was super smoky and I loved the flavor. It's definitely a top 5 Cuban in KC. We ordered several sides: seasoned fries, smoked Mac and cheese, and a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was good sized and easily shareable as a starter. I liked the house made dressing. If you wanted to have this as an entree, you have the option to add brisket, chicken, or shrimp. I will definitely consider it in the future. The seasoned fries were pretty standard. My boyfriend liked the seasoning and that they didn't put too much on them. My 3 doggos also enjoyed a few. The smoked Mac and cheese was probably my favorite side and I'll have a hard time getting a different one in the future. The Smokey flavor was perfect and not overwhelming. The pasta wasn't overcooked and the sauce was creamy. I end up at Strange Days pretty often and I feel like this is a perfect addition to the area. I'll definitely be ordering from them in the future while I enjoy a beer.

As a gluten-free girlie, I'm always craving sandwiches but rarely find ones that hit the spot. Now I finally have a go-to place! I originally wanted to order online, but since I didn't want ham and the app only lets you add meats (not remove them), we went inside to order. The customer service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed to be mostly high school kids, and one of them asked what we wanted, then seconds later started talking to a coworker and completely ignored us. We ended up having to give our order three times. At one point, a different employee asked if a sandwich already being made was mine. I asked if it was on gluten-free bread, and when he said no, I told him it wasn't mine and had to re-order again. There also seemed to be confusion about removing ham and just replacing it with extra turkey. My boyfriend had a similar experience ordering his sandwich. Despite the chaotic ordering experience, the sandwich was delicious, and I'll definitely be back. Next time, I'll probably just order ahead and remove the ham myself to save the hassle.
