This was the 2nd time I went to the Newly relocated Panera Bread on Douflaa street. They have more employees than thw other one but the salads have been terrible. Cucumbers were put on a Greek salad and they were spoiled. Had thw Mediterranean Salas and all thw Cucumbers were spoiled as was rhw Arugula. Autumn butternut squash soup was terrible and caused my stomach to bloated. Must have milk more than they used to. The Shortbreas cookies are no longer crispy since everything comes frozen. This used to be my go to restaurant but have been disappointed. I do like the Italiano Sandwich ans thw black bean soup. read more

Very nice study environment got an A on my science test . Their bread was a bit dry but still good . My friend had the chips and said it was very good . We both got the macaroni very creamy and just so good at making the perfect macaroni cheese . Also some very fast service really quick meals . I ordered a sandwich via the app and chose curbside pickup. The ordering process was easy, got an email shortly after, and was supposed to hit the I'm here button in the email once I arrived. I had a pickup time that I had chosen and I was on time. The notice in the email went through, but my order came out 8 min later, I was actually calling the store when the lady came out with my order. The stad=ff member was nice, but my to-go bag looked greasy. Now for the food, the sandwich was delicious, the 4 star was for the pickup and presentation, but the meal was amazing, The kettle chips were on the stingy portion size but other than that my Whole Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt with Pickled Red Onions with Red Onions with Frizzled Onions with Chips Was great, I liked it before the changes they made but now I love it. I would defiantly say try the new sandwich that they have to offer plus right now they have 20% off there e-gift cards on their site so its a win-win. read more

Tried one of the new breakfast wraps, the Mediterranean. A wrap needs to be soft. The tortilla was grilled or baked (or maybe just stale) to crispy. The egg white looked Ike white paste but was tasteless The spinach was raw and stiff. I'm not sure if the red stuff was salsa or over-cooked red peppers. But the wrap was inedible and I threw out after two bites. This location has had continual changes in managers. It isn't always clean and the staff seems to forget to refill the coffee urns regularly. On this visit the dark roast was cold at 7am and empty 20 minutes later. Two stars maybe generous read more

My group had a work meeting in Lee's Summit this morning, and Panera Bread was a friendly and familiar venue in a very unfamiliar place. We took a quick break here, ordered beverages and some pastries, and worked on a project that had to be turned in today. The weather was so pleasant we were able to work outside. The staff was very nice, especially the girl from Bangkok who asked me if I had a Panera card. (I do! Just forgot because I was not in California!) I have to let everyone know that I had a red velvet cupcake that was out of this world yummy. Why don't they make these back home? The dense red cake sat on top of a layer of very moist dark chocolate cake and was topped with a perfectly sweetened cream cheese frosting and red sugar. I go to this Panera on a weekly basis and have for the last few years. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and my food is always fresh and tasty! I love the salads at Panera, particularly the Greek salad. My kids love their freshly baked cookies and baked goods. I have purchased full loaves of bread from them to use for meals at home and they are always fresh and flavorful. It's getting harder and harder to find a nice (fast food or quick lunch salad, that's why I love Panera. You can eat healthy and get your food prepared quickly. read more

I understand having a busy day and being over it by the end, but todays experience was something else. Placed an order at around 7p for pickup. While ordering it was noted that French baguettes were out as a side and bread bowl soups were unavailable. It seems a little odd that a bread place would be out of bread but this in and of itself would not have been a huge issue. Placed my order for a regular bowl of soup and Mac and cheese. Cannot have hard solid food due to tooth extraction. I kid you not there were two (2) bites of noodles in the chicken noodle soup broth. Since I couldn't get bread to dip in the broth it was almost completely a waste. In addition, the Mac and cheese was a very cool temperature with some hardened noodles. A bit disappointing since I was looking forward to a warm soft meal after surgery. Normally the food here is really good and the pick-up was on time, but my dad noted there weren't a lot of people inside so not really sure what happened today. read more

The first time they forgot part of our order, so I drove from my house back to the store to get it-- there were no apologies or anything, in fact, they seemed suspicious and annoyed with me. I placed a "to-go" order for one sandwich and two salads at 11:31 AM on Saturday, May 26, 2018. I still have the receipt from "Cafe 2383 Summit Woods, Mo. 64081." I was in a hurry, but asked the young man behind the counter if there were forks and napkins in the bag. He said, "Yeah," and turned away. Miles away and a half hour later we opened our lunch to find no forks and no napkins. Luckily we had napkins in the car because eating salad with fingers is messy. This is probably one of the better Panera locations I've visited, although not the roomiest inside. I get my car serviced on occasion at a place across the street, and rather than wait there, I'll hoof it over to Panera for some breakfast. The coffee has always been quite good, and I've never really ordered anything that was bad as far as food goes. It's slightly on the expensive side for what you get, but on par with other places such as Starbucks or Einstein Bros. So not too bad. The price of cream cheese strikes me as somewhat outrageous. Anyway, a good choice if you want to grab a bite fairly quickly but want to avoid the typical fast food fare. The bagels, of course, are great. read more

A couple of weeks ago the person who rang me up forgot to ask whether I wanted my food to go. It didn't cross my mind either until my buzzer went off and I realized that they had plated it for me to eat in the restaurant. I apologized and requested the food be placed in to-go containers. I was super embarrassed for causing extra work for them, and I felt guilty that they had to redo everything for me, but the person I spoke with was unbelievably friendly and told me it was no problem at all. He seemed very genuine and got my food into the right containers right away. My broccoli cheddar soup tasted awesome as usual. Tasty, friendly, and quick? Bases covered. This location always has a wonderful staff. The food is usually fresh and delicious; however a couple of times I have ordered a 'hot' sandwich that was stone cold. However, it's not enough to deter me from eating here. They are usually spot on. It's a little pricey, but that isn't this locations fault, and hey, do pay for higher quality ingredients and a nice ambiance. I would recommend to anyone. read more

I used to be a fan... Especially of the rapid pick up. I did not like going in to order because the workers at the register weren't really friendly nor polite. Foodwise.... The greek salad was my favorite until they took away the pepperoncini because they were going 100% green... Without it, I may as well just make the salad at home since I didn't eat the dressing (too many calories for me). They at least could have put a notice in the bag. :*( Also, they kept leaving out my apple and I wasn't going all the way back for 1 apple and I didn't want to call like, "Hey, 3 weeks ago y'all left out my apple so put an extra one in there today". I'm not much of a bread eater, but I've had a couple of their pastries which tasted like like bread with sugar on top= not good. Their little breakfast souffles were good and filling though. Worst Panera ever. True it was later in the evening so there weren't as many staff people cooking (2). But, we waited about 7-8 minutes for our food (with one order before us). This somewhat made me annoyed since the 2 people who should have been cooking were instead goofing off. THEN we get home to eat our piping hot Mac and Cheese and it's COLD. All the way through like refrigerator cold. I call to ask for a manager and Stacy says that's her. I ask how long should I heat up the Mac and cheese and she says about 1 min 15 sec. She doesn't ask WHY I would need to hear it up and this is strange to me since anyone who has had their Mac and Cheese knows it stays hot for at least 10-15 min after it's been cooked. She should have taken that step and done so. A decent manager would have wanted to know what was wrong with the order. A good manager would have apologized for their employees lack of attention to (a pretty important) detail. A great manager would have offered some type of reward on my Panera card for their mistake. This is by FAR the worst service and worst Panera I've ever been to. read more

The food here is good. My Bacon Turkey bravo was yum-o. My only complaint is how expensive this place is in comparison with how little food you get. But, I guess it's working for them, since there's a Panera in nearly every major city and suburb around here. I may just stay home and make my own damn Turkey sandwich. read more
