It's okay. Came here to get fruit cups and cookies for my clients. Thought I would be in and out but they had to make the fruit cups from the start. Ended up waiting 20 minutes which is kind of ridiculous. I was also late to my meeting. Also, I told them to put forks and spoons in the bag in which they said okay - guess what? No utensils whatsoever!!! The fruit is tasty I'm sure and cookies are probably sweet - but it's kind of pointless if they have to eat with their hands! 3/5. Service was decent and they did apologize multiple times for my wait - I would have gave his place 4/5 if they didn't make me wait all that time and then forget the most essential utensil to use when eating fruit cups. read more

This is a large new Panera location, which just opened down in the Cedarhurst/Five Towns area. You can find it in the back of the shopping area with Best Buy and Bed Bath and Beyond. My wife and I are huge Panera fans and this location does not disappoint. Tons of seating, free Wi-fi and the same great menu as all Panera's. Much big and easier to get to then the RVC location. Their deserts are amazing. I am partial to the muffin tops. The bread is fresh and delicious. And the menu is chock-full of tasty dishes made with REAL food. If you are new to Panera check it out as a great alternative to Wendy's and McD's. And if you are a Panera fan, this is a welcome addition to the south shore. read more

Panera is an extremely busy restaurant that deals with a very active lunch crowd. The people who work here are very friendly and efficient, quickly getting all the orders out. I ordered the broccoli cheese soup and the Frontera chicken pannini. They both came out fresh, tasty and delicious. There is also ample parking. read more

I always go to a Panera location when I find one and it's almost always been for breakfast. No complains. On this visit, I came in for lunch. I had a chicken Panini with onions and tomatoes. (Recommended by a staff). The sandwich was plain and dry. (Didn't want the mayo sauce that came with the sandwich). The place was busy and is clean. I will continue to go to Panera for breakfast but their lunch items does not excite me. read more

I don't know if that is the trend for this place but I found that presentation quite unappealing/sloppy, I also can't imagine that it's hygienic to serve food like that. Came for lunch because we wanted something different than the usual place we go to out here. Nice big restaurant with plenty of seating and very clean. We ordered our lunches and sat outside since the day was nice. Only blemish was the ongoing construction outside which was not their fault but it was just annoying. I got the Italian sandwich combo. The food was good but my issue is that the meat was all placed in the middle of the bread to make it look like a thick sandwich. After a couple of bites all you had left was just bread and lettuce. They need to learn to spread out the meat to make the entire sandwich enjoyable. Taste wise it was nothing special. My co-workers each got a salad which looked like a decent size and they said it was good. One staff member even came out to check on us and asked if we wanted a free sample of something. I would try this place again but at least I know what to expect now. read more

Nice to have a Panera Bread off the turnpike. Great place to come after shopping. Clean and nice locale with a fire place. I am a fan of the Apple Fuji Salad. They make it well here. Get the Panera rewards card because it accomulates points fast. You will get free stuff (coffee, soda, pastry) Good free WiFi, just don't try to sign in at peak times. Also if you have a book club, or need to hold Avon meetings etc, let them know- good place for that. read more

Came here for early dinner with my fiancé. The place is very clean and staff is very friendly. Above all, their service is top notch. Hot tea was re-fill allowed and the soup and the sandwich was so delicious! We sat down near the window. Since this store was located in the corner of a big shopping mall, I liked the opened view. One pleasant surprise was when one of the employees go around and give out complimentary cookies for all the dine-in customers. Only down side I experienced was they ran out of bread-bowls. Wish they make more to accommodate their customers All in all, I very much enjoyed my experience here and will come back! read more

Fresh n Quick After shopping, we went to Panera for the sandwich. A turkey sandwich with cheese bread and avocado with natural lemonade a perfect combination. Opened around here only a couple of months ago. Was in the area and needed something quick but a little more healthy than all the fast food options surrounding that section of Lawrence. Panera is definitely not the worst chain you could go to, in fact dare I say it's actually decent. I doubt I need to give the business much of an introduction. Panera is known for it's bread, salads, and paninis and you can grab a variety of dessert treats if you're still hungry afterwards. The atmosphere is bright and very clean with a welcoming aura when you walk inside. Service is pretty quick too though it's nothing to write home about either. I ordered a tomato mozzarella panini, which came with an apple. The panini was very filling, but the apple was anything but satisfying. Especially with this being apple seasons it seems like the people here could care less if the fruit is fresh or not. To be fair I'm not expecting a taste as though it came right off the tree, far from it, but preferably I'd rather not gag while eating it? Just some food for thought (pun may or may not have been intended). Also they could stand to fill their paninis a little more; half of mine was just the bread, which granted was tasty; albeit not as healthy as they let on. Prices are fair but they could stand to not be so skimpy on the toppings. So that's Panera; you'll get what you paid for and hopefully that's good enough for you. If I'm in the right kind of mood, I may even head back sometime. read more

Often enough they say: If at 1st you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again. That's what I did at Panera. I visited about 3 months ago after a workout in Brookville Park. I was famished!!! I ordered the cobb salad which was terrible. The chicken breast was freezing cold! They gave my egg to my friend by putting it in his salad as opposed to mine! The salad was full of lettuce & guacamole and not enough COBB. While working in the Rockaways (where the selection of healthy cuisine is slim to none) I stopped at Panera on my way back to the office. Customer Service here is impeccable. Speedy and personalized. I ordered the Broccoli Cheedar soup & Turkey Bravo sandwich by a fellow yelper's recommendation :) Good choice. My soup was full of sodium but delicious. Fresh broccoli & carrots you can taste. The turkey bravo was everything I needed. Delicious mayo, fresh lettuce, tomato, turkey and cheese. The ambiance is relaxing for a lunch break. The establishment is 5 stars for immaculate cleanliness. The manager even walked into the women's room on me to make sure there were paper towels. The manager walked to everyone's table to inquire about satisfaction. This place is a winner. read more

Well it's the healthiest options but it's good for one you must get food On the run. I love the sandwiches and my favorite is the tuna on honey wheat. The Cesar salad is good too. The smoothies are yum but they ain't healthy lol. My wife loves the cookies but since we on a healthy treat she doesn't get to indulge as much as she did when we was on our fat girl kick. I have been to many of their locations before but I have never seen a sandwich being places straight onto a trey. I was having a 75th birthday gathering for a small group of 25-30 at my home and wanted to keep things as simple and Covid 19 friendly as possible so I catered from Panera bread. I placed the order on line 2 days before the event and got a confirmation that my order would be delivered on 8/1 at 5:30, 1/2 hr before the guests were to arrive. My guests arrived at 6:00 but the food did not come. At 6:15 I called only to find they did not have a delivery person. And didn't think to alert me to come and pick it up so I cancelled the order and called a local pizzeria in a panic for food for my guests. I then received a call back and said that a driver became available and if I still wanted they would bring the food. I order the pizza but took the delivery as well. At that point it was another hour and 1/2, now 7:30, before my food arrives and I was totally frazzled and very embarrassed. I have contacted Panera bread twice to get some satisfaction but no one has contacted me except to acknowledge my email with a reference number. NOT ACCEPTABLE! It is now 8/12 and nothing. I am very unhappy with this big corporation! What was my favorite go to place is no longer!! Just FYI my order was $440!!! read more
