    Tuna salad
    Diane G.

I'd give it more stars but the bread for the bread bowl tasted really bad, the tuna salad was extremely salty, and the unsweetened tea was sour. The clincher for the bad review was the women's bathroom. There was feces and urine all over the commode and the sink was just down right filthy

So disappointed.... I did drive thru today. The place was not busy. I got home and my salad had the dressing on the side, the little container was not even filled half way! My salad has literally no flavor!! and then I gave the staff my reward card to make sure I got the points but my rewards points never got into my account. Little things but I will think twice before I go back...

Ordered a veggie sandwich without cheese. Received cheese AND bacon. Allergies are a real thing...

It's understandable why this location is only rated as it is. I've stopped in several times while living here over the last year and have experienced average service at best. This seems far from aligning with Mr. Covelli's intentions. Frankly, I eat at Panera a LOT and in general am finding the service to be less and less acceptable... The case that finally prompted me posting about it... I ordered a Mediterranian Veggie sandwich with no cheese on sourdough bread to go. When I got home, I learned there was an abundance of feta cheese on the sandwich. AND... a piece of bacon. So in addition to concerns of whether or not I can trust that their staff will properly prepare food, I'm further concerned about cross contamination. Allergies are a real thing! As a business owner myself, I really prefer when a client let's us know directly when we don't hit the mark. No one is perfect. I get it. When I attempted to call the store and asked for the manager, I was asked who was calling and I said a customer. Over eleven minutes later I decided a public post may get better results than a discussion with a manager at an unknown time. Mr. Covelli, I want to invite you to look very deeply into your employee satisfaction. I have friends who worked for locations in Columbus and it was made very clear that even as managers, they feel under paid. Guest satisfaction starts with you, sir. Guest satisfaction is a direct result of employee satisfaction. So when I see a boy runing into a store (Reynoldsburg) with his entire ass hanging out of his pants (literally), proceed to hold them up in between his legs and waddle behind the counter to continue prepping food, using the same gloves he opened a door and held his pants up with, it's evident the level of competency and quality your wages are attracting do not work. I'm hopeful this feedback is supportive.

Came in for breakfast, as usual for a mildly busy Sunday morning. Everything tastes great, no complaints. Perfect! Was a bit disturbed when a girl dressed as a manager called us up to order while simultaneously raising her voice to an employee that she called up from the back. The employee was doing dishes, and the manager gritted her teeth and said "NO. Go do xxxxx." As a manager, I understand the frustration... but be nice to your employees or they'll dislike you and never do that in front of customers. My receipt says her name was Gillian, but she wasn't wearing a name tag.

This is supposed to be a large Mac and cheese. Please use the fork next to it for comparison.

Do not use the drive thru! My wife and I went through the drive thru and the portions they give you are maybe 1/2 of the ones inside. I ordered a large Mac and cheese and I got basically a side of Mac and cheese, or a kids portion. Also I ordered a bread bowl, it was nice they cut off the top, but the inside was all bread. So essentially I got a loaf of bread with the top cut off. I have attached a picture of what I got. This was not worth the $12 I spent there. Will not go back, even inside. If they are charging the same price for drive thru and inside, and giving you 1/2 the portion, they are not worthy of my business!

whole clump of hair in my sandwich.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more It is only fitting that I check out another breakfast/brunch place with the iconic American breakfast staple "biscuit" mentioned in their name. As for such locales within the Space Coast, this is the third one (off the top of my head) I have had the pleasure to dine in, right after "Oh" and "Twisted." So was Grumpy's Biscuits (which I will shorthand simply to Grumpy's for the remainder of this review) just another fine establishment to add to other fine breakfast estabishments here on the coast that shoots off rockets, or did they standout. I am happy to review that Grumpy's has enough subtlety to standout without smashing the competition. That is something I admire because I prefer options within harmony, Competition amongst competitors to improve one's self. Even though an address is provided, Grumpy's is located on Highland Ave., just north of the westbound part of Eau Gallie Blvd. within the EGAD. If it helps, it is right across the street from the EGAD Civic Center. First and foremost, the building Grumpy's is located in is an iconic landmard within the EGAD. Grumpy's shares the building with other businesses in which they occupy the southernmost business space, which is quite small with a small indoor eating area and a small outdoor patio with each table having individual umbrellas for shade or rain cover. It fits as Grumpy's is said in two phrases: "simple and trendy" and "cozy." The workers and owner are friendly and hospitable, and they assisted me in deciding on what to eat, which they have given each of their biscuits/sandwiches/etc. a female name. I chose "Lisa," a breakfast biscuit consisting of bacon, over easy egg, smoked gouda, mixed greens, and housemade balsamic glaze. Couple of notes about this amazing biscuit, the bacon were thick cut and candied. Truly amazing. And the balsamic glaze. Whatever their recipe is, it is amazing. I could definitely have that on many a meal. Yes, I know exactly how I wrote that! As for the coffee, I got an iced coffee which is premade and ready-to-serve. They use half-and-half and stevia in the raw. Ergo, the coffee was what I wanted. Finally, the restroom. Take note the "water closet" is outside in the hallway. Since the restaurant is small, it is a single-server. Fortunately, it was stocked and clean. There was also an "ambiance" of class, which is nice given the fact the restaurant is... well... small... and the restroom is probably shared with the other businesses, too. Ultimately, Grumpy's was an amazing initial visit and I look forward to visiting them again. Since this is the first and only time (so far) I have been here, I will give them four out of five stars. After a couple more visits, if they stay consistent, I will add their fifth star for consistency.

Now to be fair it was a to-go order so when I got to work it wasn't as fresh maybe as it should. Biscuit was good sized and tasty, a bit dry, sausage was very tasty and egg was half an omelette....not sure if there was cheese on it, maybe in the egg omelette and I just didn't see it or taste it. I would try it again, next time maybe add butter to the biscuit, a little less egg and cheese that is melted somewhere on it.

The storefront is not anything special. However, the interior was quite nice though it was very small. There was capacity for perhaps 25 people or so inside and it was full when we visited on a Wednesday morning at about 10 AM. But there were also a couple of outside tables and we grabbed one of those to enjoy our food. In addition to bagels, they offered some enticing baked goods. Our grandson chose one of those items, a lovely, nice-sized cinnamon roll which he enjoyed very much. My wife and I both had the Breakfast Special "Eggle", which was an Egg, Meat and Cheese on a bagel. We chose bacon, though my wife skipped the cheese. My Everything bagel that I selected was particularly good. This was a great deal as the bagel was bundled with coffee for only $5. Overall, our expenditure for food, drink, tax and tip was about $20. This was a terrific deal by today's standards. The service here was excellent. The people working were efficient and quite friendly. If you are in the area and looking for a moderately-portioned cost-effective option compared to pricey hotel breakfasts, this is a pleasant choice. It's got a great local vibe with good food.

When I explained what I needed, she kindly helped me transition from phone conversation to an in person chat. I was fortunate enough to walk into this awesome bagel shop and not only fulfill the order but feel the stress melt away thanks to what is easily the best customer service I've gotten all year The bagels themselves were delicious and assorted ranging from Plane to raisin to blueberry varying kinds of melted cheeses and quality ingredients on the everything and everything asiago. Jerrica and Aaliyah greeted me and that everything I needed to purchase with exceeded expectations. It felt that they genuinely cared and were personable and amicable. This is the kind of customer service that keeps you coming back to support the business versus handing your money over to something random and faceless. The Culinary Institute of America. Our daughter actually graduated from their Baking & Pastry program in San Antonio, so we were already inclined to give the place a try. But I digress. The moment you walk in, the smell of bacon smacks you right in the face. In the best possible way. So. Dang. Good. We stopped in on a busy Sunday afternoon. The dining room was hopping. A few tables could have been bussed a little quicker, my chair needed a quick swipe-down before I sat, and there were a few chips hanging out on the floor. Normally I'd notice those things more, but then the bacon smell hit again and suddenly none of it seemed quite as important. I ordered two perfectly cooked over-medium eggs, sliced tomatoes (instead of potatoes), and a biscuit. I chose the biscuit over toast or an English muffin with absolutely no intention of eating it. My plan was to take it home for one of the kids. Then I took one bite. Friends, this was THE best biscuit I have ever eaten in my entire life. I don't throw around statements like that lightly. If you visit Banana River Cafe and order absolutely nothing else, order the biscuits. They deserve their own Yelp page. My husband got what I think was called the Power Bowl--a delicious-looking pile of rice, beans, carnitas, and all the ingredients that make a great burrito bowl. Our son absolutely housed his French toast. Our daughter ordered the Rosemary Chicken Salad Wrap with pasta salad. I sampled the chicken salad. It had a whisper of rosemary. A polite suggestion of rosemary. A rosemary cameo appearance. If you're going to call it Rosemary Chicken Salad, I'd personally vote for a little more rosemary. My daughter loved it, though. She also loved the pasta salad but wasn't a fan of the Parmesan sprinkled on top. If Parmesan must be involved, let's keep it to the kind that comes from a block and not the green plastic shaker. Just my two cents. The staff was friendly, service was great, and soda refills appeared before we even had to ask. I also loved the local artwork displayed throughout the restaurant. Every piece has a price tag, so if something catches your eye, you can literally take it home with you. Great food, great service, incredible biscuits, and enough bacon aroma to improve your mood instantly. We'll definitely be back.
