This was my first time trying this bowl!! I enjoyed it!! I could've gone with a little more teriyaki but overall the dish was nice and perfect for a little work lunch to keep me full until the end of the day. I'd been seeing commercials on TV about their chicken sandwich, which looked so good. We hadn't been to a Panera in around ten years, having long considered them a glorified Subway (hint - we both hate Subway). So we went there today for lunch. In their commercials and on their website, the chicken patty is large, overhanging the bun a lot on both sides. What I was given was a small chicken patty which did not overhang the bun at any point, plus it was thinner then in their pictures. It did taste ok, but for over twelve dollars it is outrageously over priced. The Chick Fil A a couple of buildings over has a much better chick sandwich for less than half the price. The side that came with it was a bag some company's kettle chips, specifically made for Panera as it is labeled as such. I don't care for kettle chips to begin with, but it contained maybe fifteen chips of a small size. What a joke. My wife had a salad which she said was mediocre, only eating maybe two thirds of it. She said the best thing of her meal was the piece of bread that came with the salad. She did have a strawberry smoothie which was good, though very small. Needless to say we won't be back to a Panera again. read more

This location has the slowest service. Food is subpar, especially the pizza. They typically forget 2 or 3 toppings.

Had lunch here one afternoon as we were heading back to the Airport (Toledo Express Airport). Had one of their Cobb salads with grilled chicken. It was a pretty decent salad, came with a side of bread - nothing amazing though. Service was good and there is free Wifi. read more

Our office orders from this location all the time and ever since Door Dash has been delivering for them it's ridiculous. I'm waiting for an order I placed at noon, it's now 1:20 pm. The last time before this took an hour. The time before that I had practically no fruit and no nuts on my salad and rotting lettuce. They gave me an extra reward on my account but that doesn't do anything to fix that meal. I don't think it's Door Dash's fault however because I've called the store (Holland, OH Store) several times and they won't answer the phone. I guess I'll have to drive there to pick up my order. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from them again and I will encourage our associates not to as well. I would give them 0 stars if I could! UPDATE: Well, I had to drive to the cafe' and pick up our order. But it wasn't Panera's fault, it was Door Dash. They delivered it to a totally different street and address and lied and said they tried to call me, when they didn't! Good grief. I walk in, not super busy, waiting for someone to acknowledge me and finally I ask 'should I order from this (the kiosk thing)?' Employee says 'it would probably be faster - I'm busy getting this to-go order together' - - - ummm... thanks for letting me know? Apparently they were too busy to even say 'hi thanks for coming in if you place your order there we'll be able to take care of you faster' - anyway, I place my order, she gives me the wrong soufflé and tells me that's the one I ordered - even though the receipt on the bag says otherwise - I ask if I can add a drink to my order while I'm waiting on my other sandwich, and the employee making my sandwich says 'yeah she'll be with you in a minute' - so I go, and again wait to be acknowledged, when no one comes out I just use the kiosk to order it. Grab my own cup. Go to fill it - no ice in machine. Employee making my sandwich, upon my asking about ice says 'yeah it's broken - we can get you some in a minute' - at this point I've spent $20 for 2 sandwiches and 1 drink, to basically wait on myself and only be spoken to when I ask questions - no forward thinking on the staffs part. Annoying to say the least. I get that you're short-staffed, but basic customer acknowledgment doesn't take a whole lot, and is something you can do while doing other things and it goes a long way. Food was decent, no complaints there - other than getting the wrong thing, it was still good. I wasn't looking for a Michelin star experience, but expected a bit more from Panera for how much you spend to eat there. read more

I waited in the drive through line for 30 minutes for a bagel AND coffee. When I got to the window they handed me the completely wrong order. Compared to other Paneras, this location has a lot of seating and minimal irritating millennials taking up booths with just an iced tea and a laptop. You know, besides me. I like Panera. It would be nice if they stopped seasoning their chicken with herbs until it's barely palatable, but their soup and baked goods are nice. read more

Classic suburban cafe chain. Lacks character and the food is average, but. Predictable. The McDonalds of cafes.... It has its place, but anyone that frequents good local cafes would limit visits. Suburbia has fewer good local cafes compared to the large cities, and I think most like the upscaleesque sterile like feel... This location is like most of them, but has an L shaped parking lot configuration that is congested during busy hours. The service and food quality is the same as the other locations I have been with some variation. Coffee has unlimited refills and they are larger in size than Starbucks so you can camp out all day without feeling guilty if you have a project to work on or allot of work. It had its place but I try and limit visits and go to good local places when able. read more

This is a mixed review. So our family dined here on July 9th, we ordered a couple pick-2's, one ordered a soup, another ordered a sandwich, another the shells 'n cheese. The good things: We realized as we were bringing the food to the table, that what was desired was not what was served. I checked the receipt and the food prepared matched the receipt exactly. So shame on us for not double-checking the order/receipt. I asked for a change (upgrading a soup size), being willing to pay any up-charges. The gentleman was kind enough to just give us the upgraded soup. The food was good, everyone was satisfied with the taste and quality. The time spent waiting was reasonable. Price was within expectation for Panera. The not-so-good things: The bathrooms needed cleaning. If I had no sense of smell, I would have merely noticed some minor pick-ups with the paper towels. But since my taste/smell work just fine, I had to hold my breath while in the men's room. My wife also noticed the ladies room as needing work too. The floors in the dining area needed vacuuming big-time. Thankfully I'm not eating off of the floors. So I give the food/service 4.5/5 stars, the baths, 2/5, dining area 3/5. read more

This location has got to be the worst location I have ever been to of any Panera. If you need to be anywhere on time following food pick up do not go here. The food is always wrong now too...they usually forget one item every time. There is a new gentleman working the window my last two visits that is starting to restore my faith in this place. I don't write reviews a lot, but for this Panera I had to log back into my yelp to write them a review. My family gave me a last minute large order to go to this Panera drive thru to order and pick up for a quick lunch. With no call ahead, I will ordered my $55 order in the drive thru. The girl working was so sweet and patient with me as I read her my large order. She repeated my order back to me once as I ordered and once when I was at the window. I wish I saw her name tag but I didn't, she was very sweet and gave my partner and I a free drink while we waited a short time. I really wanted to tell a manager how polite and nice she was, she is a young, African American woman, really kind kind girl. She was very great and got the order spot on (it was kind of a complicated order) Anyway, sorry for the long review, but it's hard to get good service and food for the price these days. Many more booths available than other Paneras and the staff will sometimes even clear your tables for you or bring your food out to your table instead of having to pick it up from the counter. Wireless internet and an active fireplace during the winter is always conducive to some good studying. The only downside is that the space gets extremely busy around lunch and dinner (almost now spaces to even sit down). The place also gets extremely loud with families around and how close to capacity it gets. read more

I generally love Panera because it's a healthy lunch option that I can grab and go, but my order is wrong 90% of the time. Like literally, 9/10 times, something is wrong with my order. I often don't even realize until I get to wherever I'm going and open up the bag, and then it's too late to go back and fix it. For a place that charges $9 for a salad, I'd at least expect it to be right. It's pretty hit and miss with the employees too, in terms of friendliness. This Panera is one of the slowest in Ohio in terms of business and revenue. So, when it gets busy you can expect the service to be a bit slow, but that is also because the food itself takes time to make and to cook as well as prepare. because of the limited ingredients and big menu, it can be overwhelming to choose what to get. Recommended is the Pick 2 where you can get half a salad, sandwich, or soup (or small mac n cheese) and get another for cheaper. doing this, plus drink and dessert (if you want) can average $10-15 a person. (average to a normal restaurant). Don't forget you can personalize too, so you can add or take away pretty much anything to what you want. don't be hard on this location, the staff are trying their best :) read more

I have finally learned my lesson with going here in the morning. I like the food because (whether true or not) it feels like a healthier choice when I didn't have time to prepare my own breakfast. EVERY time I go here, it takes WAAAY too long and this time I was actually late to work. not cool. I entered the line at 6:50 with two cars ahead of me and left (basically peeling out) at 7:02. If this isn't supposed to be a "fast meal" that should be posted or disclosed somewhere... I'm a frequent guest at Panera Bread in the Toledo area. The Holland one is my favorite. The employees are helpful and quick. I usually get the Sierra Turkey sandwich with Broccoli cheddar soup. The soup is amazing. I love the baguette they include with the soup. The resturant and bathrooms are always clean as well. I highly recommended the Holland Panera! read more

I love Panera Bread but this location was disgusting. The restrooms were in dire need of attention as well as the dining room. Tables were dirty, you practically stuck to the floor as you walked to the restroom and the carpet had crumbs everywhere. If they had been busy, I may have understood but the employees were standing around talking. No "thank you" from the young gal that took our order nor the employees that gave us the order. I've been through the drive thru here many times and more times than not, they have been extremely slow or forget a part of my order.

After waiting in the drive thru for a simple order of a bowl of soup I arrive back to work to eat on a 30 minute lunch only to find that I was given a bowl with ONLY broth and 2 small carrots, not a single noodle! The person who prepared the soup is obviously would have noticed when putting hot broth into a bowl yet didn't have the common courtesy to care! Customer service at its worse! They also don't ask for rewards cards unless you present it as if typing in a 10 digit phone number is too much work. This is the only location that I continuously have issues with. This is the SLOWEST Panera I've ever been to. My husband and I go to this store because it's less than a mile from our work. But, if we only have 15 minutes or less to stop, we can't. The last time we were there it took 15 minutes for 2 bagels and 2 smoothies and we were the only ones in line! They never have enough people staffed. Last week, I ate at Panera Bread at Airport Highway. After inserting my credit card, a message about PB team members popped up and I was asked to leave an additional amount for them. I selected "No". I was then asked on the screen if I wanted to leave a tip for the team member...while she is standing in front of me at the register...again I selected "No". Was I supposed to be shamed into leaving a tip for which no services were rendered? Remember, please, that I selected my table, I retrieved my sandwich, I filled my own drink, and I cleared off my own table and scraped off the plate into the waiting trash can. But I knew this going in...it's still a fast food restaurant. I don't mind the higher prices (over $6 for 1/2 sandwich) because the food is healthier. But all that the employee did that you wanted me to tip was to select keys on a computer screen. Do your employees deserve more money? Give them a raise. read more
