Pros: Easy parking Fast, friendly service Order online ahead of pickup The star is their stuffed bread sticks - choose your toppings and they are ooey gooey and so delicious There are 3 locations nearby Cons: Small dining area Can get busy and crowded Pro tip: Be sure to mention the online coupon when you call in your order. You can't redeem it online sadly

This is hangover food. I found it greasy. Service was very slow, but the girl was very pleasant. Took an hour on a summer Saturday afternoon to get our food. Portions are huge. I wish they allowed mix and match on shared plates of stuffed breadsticks.

Calzone.

Stopped by to try the breadsticks, calzone, and pizza. Plenty of free parking out front. Can't lie, place was packed on a Sunday afternoon, resulting in a minimum of an hour wait after ordering. Small (3) Breadsticks. ($10.50). +green peppers and onions. ($1 each). +jalapeños cheese, garlic butter, and ranch sauce ($1 each). Breadsticks were already basted with garlic butter. Ordering a side of garlic butter is unnecessary. The jalapeños cheese and ranch was key! Calzone. ($11.50) +green peppers, green olives, and onions (+1.50 each). Also basted with garlic butter. Extremely cheesy due to mozzarella, ricotta, and Colby cheese. Outside texture was similar to the breadsticks. Medium Vegetarian Pizza. ($16.50). Here is where it's disappointing. Asked for pan style. An hour later, we were served our stuffed breadsticks. Shortly after, the calzone and pizza were brought to our table. Obviously, it's not pan style, but it was thin crust. Asked why and server advised it was busy then walked away. Note that we were the tail end of the rush. At this point, I wasn't going to send back a pizza after an hour of waiting. Really? If you weren't going to make the pan style pizza, please advise as opposed to punching in a different order. Extremely disappointed. I can't stress this enough. Only giving two stars because beers were $3.25. I imagine this establishment is so close to BGSU.

This was a nice place and the stuffed bread sticks did look good but we passed and just stick w pizza. I thought the pizza was ok. The chicken on my pizza did taste fake and was not fresh check like some other places I have gotten it from. My daughter for the pepperoni pizza and said it was ok. The crest is delicious but I would say the toppings are not fresh tasting.

Have you even been to Bowling Green if you haven't had Campus Pollyeyes??? My mom insists on coming here every time she visits and for good reason -- it's delicious. If you do come here, you need to try the cheese stuffed breadsticks. Firstly, they're huge, and you can get them with a number of different sauces. They 100% constitute as their own meal so don't be afraid of going hungry. Whenever I come here, I usually end up with leftovers. The people here are also very friendly. I've never gotten bad service. Most often, the waiters check in often, and the food is pretty speedy. Nice atmosphere as well. Definitely a college town staple for good reason.

The stuffed bread sticks are solid, as is the pizza. This place gets slammed so expect it to be busy. Eat here.

For great service and fine Italian dining, this is a great local find! Some cousins recommended it…read moreand said the bread was the best here. They weren't wrong- the focaccia bread is soft and served fresh with some olive oil and Parmesan cheese as a dip, although I still prefer olive oil and balsamic as a dip. Butternut squash raviolis were fresh, tender, and savory. All delicious. Could be a great date nite stop as well for those looking for something romantic.

DO NOT ORDER THE ALFREDO…read more Pros: The complimentary focaccia bread Lots of Gluten Free options Staff was very nice and charming Nice looking vibes Short rib ravioli Cons: Alfredo anything I was extremely disappointed in my regular Alfredo dinner. I can't remember the last time I didn't eat more than a few bites at a restaurant. The waiter suggested I add chicken and it somehow made it worse. It was watery and not tasty at all. I thought it was just me, but another person in our party ordered the shrimp Alfredo and also didn't finish it. I ended up buying the chicken Milanese salad on my own tab (I was with a party) to go and it was much better. But I shouldn't have to order a different dish to make up for one I didn't eat. Maybe it was just a bad night for the Alfredo pasta dishes but something basic like that should not be poor quality. This was really disappointing because we live 2 hours away and my family would talk up this restaurant for years.

The main dining area is filled with colorful large scale artwork, ambient lighting, and there are beautiful thick marble-topped tables, and some booths are in an elegant cozy crescent shape. Our party of 5 included a gentleman in a wheelchair, and the hostess was very kind to configure the seating to best fit his wheelchair, and allow everyone to have ample room at the table. The hostess, Elisa and our waitress Alora were the perfect service personnel, very kind, warm and professional. The food was an Italian delight, and cooked to perfection. Upon being seated we were promptly brought waters with lemon and rustic bread with herbed olive oil. The French onion soup was a knockout in flavor, onions and overall quality. The mozerella cheese was flame-seared just prior to serving.. Among the best FO soup II have had. The dinner salad was a generous serving; crispy and fresh with tomatoes, onions, and olives. Three guests ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, and they all agreed the sauce was outstanding and the portions came in plentiful deep- dish rimmed bowls. Two guests ordered chicken scallopini and it was very good and hot with linguine and red onions and a nice sauce. While between the five of us, we ordered repeats of the same meals, the entree and appetizer menu had an impressive variety of Italian dishes from which to make our choices. Scarpetta's is well worth the drive from nearly anywhere in Northwest Ohio, and rivals the best there, and even in Chicago! Get there before 6 and enjoy a vary nice happy hour for drinks and appetizers. This was our third time here, and each visit exceeded our expectations and memory. We will return! You will not be sorry after enjoying an authentic Italian meal at at beautiful Scarpetta's restaurant. Our after-meal coffees were superb as well.

My wife had asked about parking and an off-handed comment was received. We figured he didn't normally talk to customers. My pasta was good and served at the proper temperature, however, my wife wasn't as lucky. The salmon she ordered was fine, but it was covered in scallions that were not mentioned on the menu. Her pasta, supposed to be served room-temperature, was cold, as if it had sat around waiting for the salmon. Our server was fine, however, she could have been much better. I really wish restaurants would realize that customers sitting in their dining rooms have chosen them over all their competition and treat them accordingly. I'm sure we could have had a similar experience somewhere else for the same $50. I wanted to give 4+ Stars today, but am unable due to the entire experience.
