Perfect for work meals or just a chill night out. Our server was attentive and extremely helpful with making drink choices. I orders the shark bite and it was literally like drinking a blue icee drink but spiked! As for the food, the garlic butter knots were so soft and doughy, my fave! I also ordered the tortelloni which was good but I can't say it was mind blowing. Overall still a good spot to go to and Venice staff!

My wife had asked about parking and an off-handed comment was received. We figured he didn't normally talk to customers. My pasta was good and served at the proper temperature, however, my wife wasn't as lucky. The salmon she ordered was fine, but it was covered in scallions that were not mentioned on the menu. Her pasta, supposed to be served room-temperature, was cold, as if it had sat around waiting for the salmon. Our server was fine, however, she could have been much better. I really wish restaurants would realize that customers sitting in their dining rooms have chosen them over all their competition and treat them accordingly. I'm sure we could have had a similar experience somewhere else for the same $50. I wanted to give 4+ Stars today, but am unable due to the entire experience.

A true traditional homestyle spaghetti and incredible sauce perfectly seasoned and consistent blend of herbs making this sauce the talk of the meal. Meatballs, wow ! They are huge and again perfect to taste, the seasoned taste will wake your taste bud's simply because you have never had the true Italian meatballs. The mall is offered with a slice of buttered garlic bread that says hi I'm straight from the bakers oven and melted in your mouth. A side salad is wonderful with this meal and if you like Italian make sure and have the house Italian dressing it absolutely will not disappoint you. I will always return when in or close to Findlay, OH. Special thanks to momma, Micah your amazing!!!

The sauces weren't my favorite either... Italian salad dressing, chunky red sauce, and the cream base of Alfredo sauce (not good - basically just plain cold cream). The white chicken Parmesan entree was very good though, well worth the trip!

Sam B's holds a special place in my heart. As someone who grew up in Bowling Green, it feels like…read moreit's been around forever, and while I know the ownership has changed over the years, the spirit is alive and well. The food is surprisingly dialed in, with high-quality ingredients and deep know-how in the kitchen. Surprising only because the atmosphere and service are a little rough around the edges. Things like chipped plates take a lot away from the otherwise expertly prepared food, and the urgent nature of the service detracts from a proper date night. That said, BG is a college town, and Main Street is the epicenter of drunkenness, so I imagine it would be difficult not to have things set up the way they are -- a place built for the pace of a college town, focused on high-quality but quick meals. And maybe I just need to come back in the summer, when the college kids are gone and the townies take over. But seriously, Sam B's is almost perfect. And somehow that actually does make it perfect, for what it is.

Menu has a lot of options can and vegetarian included. Has seafood which I love. Drinks, we started with a Long Island Iced Tea, it was good. Hubby had something like an Elizabeth Taylor IPA? Not sure if he got the name right but the aroma was lovely and it tasted lovely as well. As far as apps daughter ordered the Brussel sprouts with bacon. She and hubby tore it up. It did come really late, it was served with the meal which I will explain later. But, big hit. We all shared my cup of French onion soup. We all had different takes on it. I would deduct one star but clearly everyone has different likes regarding French onion soup. Don't get me wrong the taste was there, but it was very thick like a stew. The croutons were actually store type croutons so that with the thickness, the croutons were hard. Daughter loved that, I did not. Sooo potato tomato (pronunciation). So if it sounds like thick French onion soup with crusty croutons are your thing, you will love it. Entrees, daughter had the goat cheese raspberry salad, she was very happy with it, looked ver fresh. I had the seafood risotto, I'm always hesitant because you can really mess that up in so many ways. I have had many that had a fishy taste, this certainly did not. The kitchen was out of scallops so it was served with extra shrimp. It was excellent. One does pause before ordering seafood when surrounded by farm fields smack dab in Ohio, but they handled it nicely. Hubby had the salmon pesto risotto, while I did not love it, he did. The Brussel sprouts as I mentioned came out with dinner. The service I will say was slow. Our waiter, Seth, apologized and explained that they were not expecting so many people on a Sun night.I would have deducted a Star for the slow service but I felt that he made it right by apologizing, explaining, and did offer a free dessert, which we did not take. We will return and make reservations next time.

We were informed they were out of pizza and filet. A slight bummer as one of the reasons I decided to go was for the pickle bread I saw online. We ordered some cheese logs (we figured they were large gooey cheese sticks given the name "logs" but it was more of a nod to the restaurant name as they were just run of the mill cheese sticks). From there things went mediocre. Service got slower, food coming out got slower, drink refills got slower....there appeared to be some waiter issues (we had time to people watch) but couldn't exactly tell what was going on. Our waitress was extremely busy, but it didn't seem the others were. Food was ok. I had the SOB chicken wrap and my husband had chicken chunks. The wrap was good but I would probably get something different should we find ourselves there again. The chicken chunks looked tiny but my husband said they were good. All in all, would we go again....yes, someday.
