Absolutely amazing breakfast/brunch spot! We decided to enjoy first watch for the first time on a super busy Sunday. Service was attentive, quick and very friendly. The girls running the door and check in were very friendly. We were lucky to sit at the bar and Mariela was nothing short of amazing. She was very busy but managed to get everyone's order correct, stay friendly and made the bar a great place to be for brunch! The food is nothing short of fantastic. I had the honey chipotle chicken hash and subbed chorizo for chicken and it was delicious. All the flavors together were incredible. My boyfriend got the salmon frittata and was very impressed as it was seasoned perfectly and the flavors were tasty. We did decide to get a pitcher of sangria and we shared some lavender lemonade. Both made very well and tasty! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new breakfast/brunch spot! We will be back to try the rest of the menu :) read more

Well, let's just say that in my current culinary universe, the most revered chefs go by 'Chef Microwave' and 'Grill Master Drive-Thru,' and a gourmet meal is anything that comes with fries on the side. At least with First Watch, (having been to a few in Florida and near Cleveland), the menu here is a little more than breakfast meat and greasy hashbrowns. The food we ordered was quickly served (mind you we came at 9am on a Saturday), the coffee was hot, albeit similar to Waffle House drip - insert wince face). The helping of avocado on my toast was ample and the bread was thick! Added lemon to cut the fat of the avo, so someone back there understands food science lol. We went to the Perrysburg First Watch this morning. Upon putting our name on the list the hostess told us 15-20 minutes, maybe sooner. After 20 minutes my husband checked back with her and asked how much longer til we would be seated and she said, "At least 20 minutes." She stated that there were people on the call ahead list that would be seated first. That is perfectly fine to have a list with others ahead of us for call ahead, but it is not okay to tell us 20 minutes and then double the time because you didn't account for others "ahead of us". This place is great. The ambiance and atmosphere is light hearted and uplifting. The food is delicious and appealing. The menu is healthy and have combinations that are probably regional. Great ambiance and unique dishes. However Im leaving this review for others to know it's extremely expensive for breakfast food. The prices are double what you pay at other really good breakfast places in town. Breakfast for 3 was $80 plus the DEMAND tip at the register for 2O% or 25% tip. This is the most important reason I'm reviewing is because I always tip extremely well for waiters and waitresses that work really hard. We had a bad experience with our waitress, barely acknowledging us, took our order and put it in the kitchen, and we never saw her again until the end. The bus boys brought the food out etc. When we said goodbye, her answer was a simple " yeah" ?!?! That was sad but what made it worse is going to pay and then having the TACKY computer screen demanding a tip of 20 to 25% minimum. So $16 tip for 5 minutes of " service". I hope the bus boys get most of the tip. It made us not want to return. Management should know. I would not want staff like the waitress we had. The food is good, ambiance nice...poor service and TACKY low class demand for tip at checkout. read more

You shouldn't charge $13-$15 per breakfast entree with service this slow. This was our first time to this First Watch location. We joined the waitlist online, which is a nice feature of any First Watch. When we were seated, no server came to greet our table for at least 5 minutes. We ordered at the first opportunity, but our food took over 40 minutes to arrive. Even when it did, only half of our table's orders came out for our party of four. Even made-to-order breakfasts should not take this long. No drinks were refilled until after our food arrived. The breakfast itself was very good, especially the Frittata Rustica. The cafe is also beautifully decorated, even nicer than other First Watch locations we've visited. Loved the upholstered furniture, tile work, and Perrysburg mural. Sadly, while the food was very good, this cannot be a place I would return especially with kids with such a long wait. Even paying the check had a line of four people in front of me with no cashier to take our money. If you have time to wait to be seated and to wait for your drink refills and food, this might be worth a try for you.
