Decided for a soup and sandwich night. On the way home from the mall we stopped here, the drive through was pretty busy, but went pretty quickly. Ordered the new steak and mozzarella ciabatta sandwich. It was okay.I forgot to take a photo of it. But it was well made just not to my liking. I could not remember the sandwich.I had the other night. Soup was nice and hot even after the drive home. The wife had a caesar salad and a soup. The drive thru s a little tricky to drive through. If you have a bigger vehicle girl in front of me, in a pickup truck, had you stop and reverse several times.. The girl had at rhe pick up window was very friendly. Every time I order a bagel sliced and toasted they do not toast it. I ask them to to toast and they say that they can't take it back. Take it to the toaster and toast it. They are really rude about it. I never touched the bagel. The coffee always either out or cold. The coffee gets brewed but then sits there and no one brings it out until 30 minutes later. Great location, great atmosphere but horrible service. The service has gone downhill after Beth the Manager quit. This is the reason I don't eat here more. The service sucks. Just got dinner here in drive thru. The steak and white cheddar was not even warm. The chipotle chicken and avocado was tasty but the avocado was so thick it slid out no matter how I tried to keep it on. It was my first time back at Panera since covid. I love Panera not sure why I stopped but it was always a fave. I went today and got a whole Fuji apple chicken salad; it's my fave salad not a huge fan of the chicken in the salad but overall it's definitely a salad I always get. What brought me by surprise and makes me sad is that they got rid of my favorite sandwich which is why I had to get a whole salad because I usually do the pick two-the tomato mozzarella sandwich was my go to! OMG why did they get rid of it?! None of the other sandwiches compare, ugh such a good sandwich. It had been so long since I've been I forgot to get an apple with my salad instead of bread. Every time I visit Panera bread, I order the same thing a Greek salad. I ordered French Onion soup. The soup had four croutons floating on top with no melted cheese. The bowl was large and the portion small. When I tasted the soup, it was very salty and lukewarm, No Where Close to the temperature that hot soup legally must be served at. I asked the woman working why there was no melted mozzerella cheese on top of toasted bread (it is a bread company after all). She said customers don't like the melted cheese on top!! Typically Panera is a solid choice for any meal of the day. But the last time I went was the most lack luster lunch that I've ever received. Thankfully they are a chain restaurant so the food tastes the same pretty much every time . That being said the soup I ordered was on par but the sandwich I ordered was loveless. It didn't taste like anything and the meats were so cold they must have just been taken out of the freezer. I'm still going 4 stars because honestly as long as I go to Panera and get the soup and some bread that will always put a smile on my face. read more

Everyone raves about Panera but I wasn't impressed. I've only eaten Panera bread about 3 times before and couldn't remember my experiences there so I was up for trying it again with my group of friends. I ordered from the "You Pick 2" menu, which is misleading by the way. The price in green next to "You Pick 2" makes you think that's the price of the meal, when in fact it's just the cost of the half sandwich. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt with the broccoli cheddar soup. I understand that it was half of a sandwich but it was so tiny! It was barely the size of my palm. I couldn't believe that was $5.80. I expected it to be a bit spicy or at least a little kick to it being that the name included "chipotle" but there was no kick whatsoever so I was disappointed by that. The avocado was really fresh and was a great taste to the tiny sandwich. The soup was good but not as flavorful as I expected. We were a large group of 9, so we were kind of squished in a tight corner. Maybe more room would be great in such a busy restaurant. Overall, I was disappointed. I don't see myself visiting any Panera Bread restaurant soon. read more

They make fresh bread that is so delicious to your senses it is almost a shame to take advantage of their outside seating, or it would be if you wanted to be selfish and leave the family dog at home. Panera Bread offers anything you could want in my opinion. They have frozen drinks, delicious sandwhiches [that come with a pickle!] , baked goods and yummy soups. Customer service so bad here. Food side of Panera super bad. They ignore u and ignore u. Scared from eye contact so they dont have to ask u any needs :) ... They didnt gave us half of order and if u want ask them where is rest they said other side. Well others side didnt know about that order so like ping pong ball back on food side. Had a really good lunch. Many of the other Yelp reviews cited that they received wrong or missing items in their orders. They had a person dedicated to ensuring proper orders on my visit. THe dining area was clean as well as the restrooms. The parking at lunch is a zoo. There are not enough parking spots and patrons are too busy to look for pedestrian traffic. I am a big fan of Panera Bread. Most people do not know this, but Panera Bread started in St. Louis, Missouri and was called St. Louis Bread Co. If you ever visit St. Louis you will see the iconic Panera Bread signs, but the name will be St. Louis Bread Co and not Panera Bread. Being that I lived in St. Louis for 5 years I come to sill find myself saying I want to go to Bread Co and my friends look at me weird until I say Panera. I recently wanted a bowl of cheddar and broccoli soup so I knew exactly where to go. I went to the Newberry Rd location as it is close to where I live. The soup is so good. I asked for it in a bread bowl. It was rich and creamy and tasted great. I also sprung and got a cookie. The cookies at panera are the best. I love visiting this location. I didn't expect to have so much time, but that's how it happened Friday morning so I thought a quick breakfast at Panera would be a great way to fill the time before some interviews I was conducting at work. The very perky and cheery young lady was happy to take my order. I opted for the scrambled egg, ham and cheese on toasted bread and coffee. They immediately started hollering my name before I had even filled my cup with coffee. Turns out they were out of ham. So I suggested swapping bacon for the ham. Stopped by for a large hazelnut coffee on my way out of town. Took my first sip a quarter mile away and realized it was luke warm. Turned around and came back for a new one asking for the hottest brew available. The guy said, "ok so you want a large hazelnut?". I replied, "if that's hot yes". Pretty much like any other Panera: you know what you're getting going in, at least insofar as what's on the menu. The food isn't my favorite but they do what they do well enough and the bakery section always has some sweet treats--their seasonal sugar cookies being personal favorites of mine. The salads are alright and the pasta dishes are actually pretty good, plus their sandwiches are healthier and better options than most chain restaurants of the same bracket/price-point. The fact that this location is brand new and the building was purpose-built for Panera makes everything clean and new and fresh, which is a plus. I've read some reviews (including a few that seem a bit suspect) complaining that the service is pokey or even rude but I found it to be prompt and polite. read more

I went here on a Friday afternoon and got an order to go of a Greek salad and half of a turkey sandwich. The order did not take long and the waiter was very nice. The Panera itself was very clean and nice and I had no complaints until I got into my car and unwrapped my sandwich. The sandwich looked very disheveled and for how much the meal cost I was disappointed. I probably will not be going back to this location, at least for to go orders. Well I have to say I am disappointed, I really wanted to like this spot but they can't seem to get it together. I went to the drive thru and ordered my food which was four cheese soufflé and a spinach artichoke soufflé. The lady was nice and pleasant it , was 630a so kudos to her for that, after waiting several mins (which with Panera is known for, but that's ok) I received my order. There appears to be an egregious lack of fine grained hard wood paneling, flooring or tables in this bread store. There happens to be a fair amount of soft wood chairs and dividing panels, however, and these almost make up for the hardwood. Anyone with a brain should respect the liberal use of silver maple and spruce that makes up the tasteful dividers. They also employ the use of translucent canvas sheeting to give this panera a warm and classy feel. It is almost feels like you are eating in the hills of the northeastern unites States. Despite the missing hardwoods, the bread is lit, the coffee is on one hunned and the cinnamon buns are fire. 10/10 would bread here read more

The doors were locked and a morbidly obese man came in a car at 10:15 with keys (the owner? A manager?). When he was entering the restaurant we told him we just came out and we needed to come back to use the bathroom urgently. Usually Panera staff are very nice but this stupid guy was grotesquely rude sending us to McDonald's. We insisted telling him it was an emergency he ignored us and instead of using the front door he left, ignoring us, to enter through the back door.
