    Lemon drop cookie
    Alesa W.

It was my first time back at Panera since covid. I love Panera not sure why I stopped but it was always a fave. I went today and got a whole Fuji apple chicken salad; it's my fave salad not a huge fan of the chicken in the salad but overall it's definitely a salad I always get. What brought me by surprise and makes me sad is that they got rid of my favorite sandwich which is why I had to get a whole salad because I usually do the pick two-the tomato mozzarella sandwich was my go to! OMG why did they get rid of it?! None of the other sandwiches compare, ugh such a good sandwich. It had been so long since I've been I forgot to get an apple with my salad instead of bread. Tried their lemon drop cookie and it's was delicious, all in all my lunch was good and although disappointed in my sandwich being gone, I will be back!

A ridiculously small half Greek salad!

Every time I visit Panera bread, I order the same thing a Greek salad. I was shocked to discover that the size of the bowl has decreased, and the portion was ridiculously, ashamedly, embarrassingly small. I complained, which I never do. The manager claimed they were always this size. Do they think we are all fools? After ordering this salad for over 15 years in multiple locations around the country I know that this isn't the size it's always been. Is lettuce really that expensive?

I ordered food through the Panera app and was really looking forward to my steak sandwich. However, it was missing all the toppings except a small amount of cheese. The horseradish sauce and onions make this sandwich special so it was disappointing that they were missing. My mother ordered the same thing, her toppings were also missing and she barely had any steak on her sandwich. I'm used to better quality from Panera. Not sure if it's just this location or a bad day.

Great place for a early morning snack and refreshment before going shopping. This location is always super sparkling clean. The food is fresh not usually crowded, easy to get in and order grab a seat and pick up food and relatively relaxing atmosphere. The refillable teas a good bonus to take one for the ride out. The girlfriend loves the soups and I have been making the flat bread pizzas my thing lately.

This is the soup I was given. The ring of soup in the bowl is from me carrying it to my table. note the couple shreds of cheese in the soup

I ordered French Onion soup. The soup had four croutons floating on top with no melted cheese. The bowl was large and the portion small. When I tasted the soup, it was very salty and lukewarm, No Where Close to the temperature that hot soup legally must be served at. I asked the woman working why there was no melted mozzerella cheese on top of toasted bread (it is a bread company after all). She said customers don't like the melted cheese on top!! She then sprinkled 1 tablespoon of cheese shreds on top of the croutons. Where the heck did they get this crappy recipe and such awful execution?

Typically Panera is a solid choice for any meal of the day. But the last time I went was the most lack luster lunch that I've ever received. Thankfully they are a chain restaurant so the food tastes the same pretty much every time . That being said the soup I ordered was on par but the sandwich I ordered was loveless. It didn't taste like anything and the meats were so cold they must have just been taken out of the freezer. I'm still going 4 stars because honestly as long as I go to Panera and get the soup and some bread that will always put a smile on my face.

Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and Broccoli Cheddar Soup from the "You Pick 2" menu

Everyone raves about Panera but I wasn't impressed. I've only eaten Panera bread about 3 times before and couldn't remember my experiences there so I was up for trying it again with my group of friends. I ordered from the "You Pick 2" menu, which is misleading by the way. The price in green next to "You Pick 2" makes you think that's the price of the meal, when in fact it's just the cost of the half sandwich. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt with the broccoli cheddar soup. I understand that it was half of a sandwich but it was so tiny! It was barely the size of my palm. I couldn't believe that was $5.80. I expected it to be a bit spicy or at least a little kick to it being that the name included "chipotle" but there was no kick whatsoever so I was disappointed by that. The avocado was really fresh and was a great taste to the tiny sandwich. The soup was good but not as flavorful as I expected. We were a large group of 9, so we were kind of squished in a tight corner. Maybe more room would be great in such a busy restaurant. Overall, I was disappointed. I don't see myself visiting any Panera Bread restaurant soon.

I love me some Panera bread! They make fresh bread that is so delicious to your senses it is almost a shame to take advantage of their outside seating, or it would be if you wanted to be selfish and leave the family dog at home. Panera Bread offers anything you could want in my opinion. They have frozen drinks, delicious sandwhiches [that come with a pickle!] , baked goods and yummy soups. I like to get mine in a bread bowl as it is satisfying to see a completely empty plate.

The boa buns were soft, the pork was cooked perfectly, and the hoisin sauce at the bottom of the bun was amazing. There were vegetables on top, including cucumbers that tasted sweet and carrots. The vegetables were fresh and tasted great with everything else. We also ordered the crab Rangoon which I personally really liked. I don't like fish, and this crab Rangoon must have had a large amount of cream cheese base. I personally really enjoyed it since the crab wasn't very prominent. The filling was creamy, the Rangoon was crunchy, and the sweet and spicy sauce it came with made a perfect combo. For our meal, we ordered the chicken pad Thai. Unfortunately, it didn't really meet our expectations. The pad Thai was sitting on top of a sauce at the bottom, which tasted like a hoisin sauce base. The taste was very minimal, which was disappointing. The noodles were soft, almost like they were overcooked. The chicken was cooked well and lightly seasoned (which worked perfectly for the pad Thai). The vegetables on top of the pad Thai were also very fresh and you could tell they were freshly cut. The lack of peanut/pad thai taste was the most disappointing part that unfortunately lost it for us. The service was good. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and were able to select our own table. The inside is decently small, with around 8 tables.

Oh my god, I took a single bite and didn't speak to my friend for 15 minutes as I continued munching it down. It was amazing. The vermicelli comes underneath this mound of pork holy grail, and while I'm used to having my vermicelli with these bowls cold and a bit thinner, and there being significantly more noodles than meat ratio, I'm thrilled to say that not this bowl - this bowl was 60% pork, 30% noodle, and 10% veggie. I'm taking every bite with 2-3 pieces of pork. I'm soaking up the juices with the noodles. I'm crunching on a few cucumbers to balance it out. I'm savoring every piece. Absolutely wonderful. I'm so excited to go back and try every one of their dishes. The restaurant itself is small, located inside of a shared mini-food court place with a pasta-to-go restaurant and a boba tea shop, and has a really cute sitting area. There is a nice older lady who works the front/takes orders/delivers the food. Well worth trying to fight to find university parking just to eat here.

There aren't a whole lot of options for Korean food in Ocala, so when we found ourselves in Gainesville we sought out some Korean cuisine. The dentist I'm seeing recommended Seoul Pocha so after a late afternoon dental visit in Gainesville, we made it a point so check it out. We got there just after 5 PM, soon after they opened, and there was a couple already sitting down ready to order. After my wife and I checked out the menu, we soon realized there are menu items we typically don't see outside of So Cal and Korea, namely Bibimbap Dolsot and Kimchee Pancake...so that's what we ordered. I asked the server if they also served Kimbap since it wasn't on the menu but I was told no. The Bibimbap Dolsot was served sizzling hot! It was so hot that I had to wait until I mixed it up with some bibimbap sauce and it cooled down a bit before tasting it. It had good flavors but didn't quite match the taste of the same dish we sampled in Korea and in Koreatown in LA. Interestingly, the bibimbap dolsot served in a restaurant on base in Yongsan, South Korea was one of the best we've had. Seoul Pocha's bibimbap dolsot was still good, but... My wife's kimchi pancake was quite good especially when dipped in that sweet and spicy house made dipping sauce. My wife couldn't finish her dish so we took it home for a snack the next day and it was still yummy. Service was attentive and friendly. It wasn't after we've eaten however, did we realize they didn't serve any banchan, or appetizers, which is typical in most sit down Korean joints. Dinner for 2 with tip came out to just under $46. We'll surely be back.
