Great Mexican food! The food is always fresh, has great flavor, and is the perfect portion size. I…read moregot one shrimp taco to try it, and it was really good! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and there was a (what seemed to be) mayo based sauce inside. The slaw was nice, though if it was a bit sweeter it may have been even better. The nachos are my go-to. The Guac and sour cream on top is my favorite part and it's always super fresh. The staff are always super friendly and service is fast! It's a seat-yourself order at the counter type of place. Nice covered outdoor seating

As someone who is very familiar with Mexican food from Border states as well as Tex-Mex I can…read moresafely say that Indio is unique and not in a bad way but in its own special way. I have ordered via the drive-through, in person, online and by phone. Each time the customer service was up to standard. (Props for dealing with college kids all day and still being professional even at the end of the day) I've only ordered one thing and it's been so good that I keep coming back for it. The chimichanga platter. Me Gusta la chimichanga, la Comida es Muy Bien. With a drive-through on both sides, outdoor covered outdoor seating arrangements. The building is fitting for a Mexican joint you would encounter say in LA. The bang for your buck is my favorite part. I get a very heavy plate with tasty food. A bag of freshly made in house corn chips and salsa! Just don't forget to grab the packaged salsa Verde y Rojo on your way out In terms of Mexican food in Gainesville. At the time of me writing this review there is no other Mexican restaurant that gives you as much food for the same price. (La Tienda yes I'm talking to you ) This restaurant is a cornerstone of GNV and all residents should try it at least once.

Entering, the place is nice... simple counter service location with seating both inside and out, though the outside seating is pretty close to Archer Road, so not that great. Too much noise from the road to really be enjoyable, sadly. I went for a slider with fries... just wanted to get a taste and not eat too much. The heat level was fair, and for the most part the sandwich was tasty. The fries were also good crinkle cuts. The only complaint I have was that the sandwich could have used some more coleslaw. This is a small national chain, so I do expect quality and customer service to be on par with the rest of the chains, and that is what I got. The product is fair, but nothing really excellent about it. I know of locally owned places that I would rather go to, but I suppose that if I were running around on Archer road and had a hankering for a hot chicken sandwich like this I would be inclined to return.

Remember, Los Pollos Rotisserie & Grill - Not Just Chicken! During this visit, I went for the specials (not on the regular menu). You've got to check the written board. I got: Tostones Rellenos: Green plantains, stuffed with chicken and cheese, then drizzled in avocado sauce. Every bite was packed. Churrasco Bowl: similar to the carne asada/steak bowl but upgraded with fresh chimichurri sauce and sided with Latin white rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. This is their second location of Los Pollos Rotisserie & Grill in Gainesville--this one's over on Archer Road. It's a line-order style setup, and then you grab a booth while they bring the food out. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect the first time I walked in. I was hesitant. The staff were cool--friendly, smiling, and the service was quick. The location is clean, comfy, and bright.

Hearing that Los Pollos opened up a second location here, I decided to drop by and check it out. I really really hope they endure because the food here is just as good as the original location. The much larger space means you can come with a bigger group. Service was fast and efficient. I got the Lomo Saltaldo and was pleasantly surprised at the portion size. Good portion or rice and a substantial portion of beef and French fries, all tossed in a rich sauce. So if you're driving past this restaurant, drop by and give them a try. Approximately ten locally-owned restaurants line the perimeter of the space, with a centralized bar and a billiards table in the back. We bought food from Smash City, Gringo Taco, and Nori; and beverages from the bar. Everything was fine, but the stand out was the service from the bar staff. If you want to stop by somewhere with multiple options, this is a good spot.

I came here a couple weeks ago with a group of friends and we had a great time! We came before a…read morehome football game to grab something to eat and were quite satisfied. The food hall is fairly new and not all the stations are completely set up. That being said, they still had a great variety of things to choose from. Ranging from pizza, to tacos. to asian, to smoothies, they have something for just about anyones tastes! The hall itself is spacious and very clean. It has an industrial feel to it with dining hall sort of vibes. There are some really cute UF accents and decorations included as well. It wasn't too busy when we came, but they did have a DJ doing music. There were also several people enjoying the bar located in the center of the hall. The portions are decent sizes. Some of the stations portions are bigger than others. Which is nice because it allows you to sample and explore multiple things. I ended up starting at the Mexican station. They offered freshly prepared, customizable tacos, quesadillas, burritos, etc. I opted for a single taco, so I could try some of the other things offered. The tortillas are griddled with cheese in them, then topped with either chicken or shredded beef. You can choose from a nice selection of toppings including pico de galo, more cheese, lime juice, and an array of sauces. The taco had great flavor, but the cheese caused it to become "soggy" and fall apart. This made it particularly challenging to eat the taco. I then ventured onto the pizza station. They served focaccia styled square pizza with a thicker airy crust. It is almost reminiscent of a Sicilian styled pizza, but a little lighter. I opted for the pepperoni with hot honey added for an extra charge. The pizza was amazing! Served hot and fresh right out of the oven. The cupped pepperonis were heavenly and amply spread throughout the pizza. There was the perfect amount of hot honey to compliment to heat of the pepperonis. The cheese to sauce ratio was nice and the crust was chewy. It the perfect size for a personal pie or could easily be shared with a friend. I really enjoyed the pizza and liked the square style of it. Overall, I enjoyed the Gainesville Food Hall. They offer a nice variety of cuisines. It is family friendly and a great spot to grab a bite and hang out with friends. The space is clean and has an inviting feel about it. I really appreciate the idea of a food hall and think it is a great addition to Gainesville. Will be returning at some point in the future and cannot wait to try more!
