I had nothing green in this meal and the plate is covered with something like avocado or dressing or something that seems like it's been there for a short while. I am a huge Panera Bread fan. But what we got served today was just sad. I could have made a better grilled cheese for my son. The Smokehouse BBQ Chicken was missing the BBQ, cheese, frizzled onions, & red onions. The Toasted Steak & White Cheddar was like a sad version of what it should look like. There was barely any beef, the red onions were non existent, and it had no cheese. Very dissatisfied with our order. Been coming here for eight years yet today was the WORST experience with the lady named Joie. Called on the phone put in an order with JOIE. Came to pick up the order of mac & cheese bowl with strawberry salad. I got to my car and noticed there was no bread. Went back inside and asked Joei for bread she rolled her eyes made me wait 10 minutes and finally gave the bread to me. She lied and said she didn't take my order!! NOW IT GETS WORSE:I drive home starving. When I arrived , sat down to eat, the salad has NO dressing. So not only did not put bread for the bread bowl!!! , she didn't put dressing for the salad. This location has improved a lot lately. Love the chicken and avocado sandwiches and the french onion soup. Staff is friendly.

I have ordered online several times from this Panera location and have had similar experiences each time. The employees are always very nice and helpful! Each time I place an order online I get an estimate for when it will be prepared. I have learned through experience to add at least 15 minutes to that estimate. Doesn't matter if the order is placed around breakfast time or lunch time I always have to wait around. Having the order be prepared when the online order system estimates it will be ready would be nice! Probably more of a problem with the online order system than the employees or this location in particular. Today I ordered a breakfast sandwich with chipotle aioli. Highly recommended! The order didn't initially include bacon like it was supposed to, but the employee who helped me was very nice about simply adding it on. I do recommend that you check your online order for accuracy however before you leave how each time I have ordered there is something small wrong with the order. I gave 3 stars for this review because the location is convenient for me (I work across the street), the food is good and the employees are nice. read more

Two week ago I went to this location and ordered a breakfast sandwich and when I sat down to eat it there was no bacon on the sandwich. Of course I called and they apologize and said that my next sandwich would be free. Not true. I was told that my name was not in the managers book. I went in this morning and ordered a BLT with a fried egg on top and once again when I sat down to eat my breakfast sandwich it was not what I ordered. I decided to go to Panera Bread, Encino, instead of going to CPk for a salad. Big mistake! First, the menu does not state all the salad ingredients. I had to ask for a menu for these they couldn't supply one..the counter person said bc of Covid, they stopped using them. I explained covid is long since over. So, used my cell phone to look up their menu while in their restaurant..seriously! I ordered the Cobb salad ugh! I wish I would m have taken a pic. What a mess! The avocado was 'mashed' against the side of the bowl...it looked so unappetizing. And with the drink about $22..what a waste. I will never go back - terrible salad lackluster staff. Ok in general all Panera Breads are so overpriced . For two people, two smoothies, one sandwich and one cup of soup with a small MacnCheese is about $50 .... Insane!!!! The smoothie is so small but almost $6 .... And they got rid of the tortellini Alfredo which was one of the better items... they are ALWAYS out of brooch buns... no matter what time a day we visit. Don't know.... I used to love Panera Bread.. even before the pandemic they started to go downhill. And spending that much on food I would at least hope it tasted yummier. My husband loves this place and I just don't get it. Well, actually, maybe I do. He can eat ALL THE THINGS and I'm limited to food items that don't contain gluten, dairy, wheat, etc.... If you have a large appetite and want some protein on your salad (if that's what you wind up ordering- like me), ask for like QUADRUPLE the portion of chicken OR ELSE YOU WILL ONLY GET A TINY TINY PIECE. Also, double avocado (which I got) really is just one serving at any other restaurant, which is insanely annoying. Prior to coming for lunch here though, I KNEW PANERA was stingy so I prepared myself for that! I got the Green Goddess Salad: minus the dressing and cheese and asked for NO BACON. I then asked for TRIPLE CHICKEN and extra avocado. OUR FOOD TOOK ROUGHLY 30 minutes to get to us, which is LONGER than what Food typically takes to get to us at a NICE DINING ESTABLISHMENT! ANDDDD OF COURSE, my salad came out WRONG, despite t being CLEARLY LISTED on the order (the receipt said exactly what I wanted), they put bacon on it. Thankfully they were nice enough to remake the salad, which I feared would come out 20 minutes later, but came out maybe 6 minutes later (my husband was done with his food at that point). Now I can't say the salad was all that bad, the pickled onions actually helped give it some JAZZY FLAVOR (cause I don't use dressing), but it just wasn't worth the price and as I mentioned, PANERA IS INSANELY STINGY when it comes to portion sizes!!! The culture here isn't as upbeat as other paneras I've been too. Finally. This location has the worst wifi I've seen since like 2018.
