    You pick two
    Lizzie S.

I come here for carbs with my tennis team during tennis tournaments and it always hits the spot. We love love love the you pick two--salad and sandwich AND an apple or baguette or chips? Amazing. There's something for everyone. Portions are large and filling and bread is fresh and warm. I also loved the salad--lots of protein! More than I expected so it's good bang for your buck. You can order on kiosks and service is pretty fast. I also love the ambiance--it's homey and cozy and reminds me of home. It reminds me of the Panera I grew up going to! There's lots of people sitting and doing work here, like they camp out for the AC and wifi.

Greek Goddess Salad & Creamy Tomato Soup

Food: 3.6 Service: 3.0 Came in on a Monday and upon entering my BF said what's burning, but didn't deter us from ordering and sitting down for lunch inside. He doesn't frequent Panera so he didn't know what a "Pick-2" was; so I needed to explain to pick two items from under the "pick-2" columns on the menu. Order 1: Greek Goddess chicken salad with a bowl of tomato bisque Order 2: chicken Caesar salad with Mexican chowder w / street corn & chicken After ordering everything is self-serve: get your own drinks from the drink station and pick-up your entire order once they call your name. We were there at 1pm so kinda after their lunch rush, but tables are not frequently wiped down (had to wet down a few napkins and clean the table top) and then that burning smell came back. So there's a piece of equipment that the employees don't maintain, luckily the smell lasted only a few minutes. Food came out a few moments after, my Caesar salad was nothing really special but what did stand out was the croutons and Parmesan slices, the corn chowder had nice Smokey & sweet savory flavor (maybe that's the burning smell LOL) My BF's Greek Goddess salad was "okay" but filling since he only finished half his soup. His tomato bisque was thick and had a starchy taste to it. Overall, the food was just above average which reminds me why I don't frequent these establishments and try to support more local restaurants.

I went to this location last week and I noticed that the place is not very clean and I asked one of the workers if she be able to clean and she said that is not part of her job I was really disappointed that a place like Panera doesn't look clean on this areas imagine how the kitchen looks

Fast and friendly service. I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for my order, even on a busy Saturday morning! I ordered the warm, hearty oatmeal for breakfast. The restaurant was clean with a nice, cozy vibe inside. Great place to start the day!

I just quit my job today and I need a little pick me up of course Panera always provides specially this location. I was helped by Chyanne. Who is only the biggest ray of sunshine in human form you could speak to. I ordered a mac & cheese bread bowl, which I didn't know as possible until she told me also got a bag of chips agave lemonade, green tea, and mixed it with starry, and it was really good. I'm pregnant and I'm technically homeless I have temporary housing right now, but it's been a struggle and I'm just glad I can come somewhere. I feel safe and Wi-Fi and be welcomed. Julieanna was so sweet. I didn't order with her but she helped immensely just w a simple conversation and a smile. My panera in Elk Grove for sure.

My husband was craving a grilled cheese sandwich. You did not disappoint. Best grilled cheese I ever ate. Nothing fancy, but so delicious. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it was very good too. Service is always good and fast. Very nice restaurant, clean, clean bathrooms plenty of room.

Everything bagel seasoning on my sesame bagel
    Portia C.

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit. This is the closest Panera to where I live now. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the bagels--they are soft, fresh, and have excellent flavor. However, I did experience a concern with the packaging process during this rapid pick up order visit. I ordered a baker's dozen that included both savory and sweet bagels. When I picked up my order, I noticed that the everything bagels were mixed in with the rest, including the sweet ones. As a result, all of my bagels ended up with everything bagel seasoning, which was disappointing. This is the first time I've encountered this issue, and I'm unsure if it's specific to this location. I brought this up to the associate that gave me my pickup order and all they said was "next time put it in your special request portion." At other Panera locations I've visited, the everything bagels were always AUTOMATICALLY separated to avoid cross-contamination with the other bagels. I actually learned this from a Panera associate that actually told me that they have to separate it. I've already reached out to customer service and received an automated response stating someone would follow up within a few business days. Additionally, I've noticed that the service at this particular location seems to take longer than at others I've been to, with food often taking more time to come out. I hope this review is helpful. Next time I will definitely put it on my request to separate the everything bagel from the rest of my order.

Broccoli Cheddar Soup and Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt
    Hilda A.

My family and I absolutely love our hospital food, (LOL). Soups, salads, sandwiches, bagels and pastries! Kids asked for Panera on NYE lunch and we ordered our favorites, chipotle chicken avocado melts, broccoli cheddar soup, rice and chicken soup and chicken noodle. Our food is always great, but it is on the pricier end given the portions. We love this location, great customer service and great quality. My only issue, the location is very busy, and the dining is constantly in need of cleaning.

Zoom in and you will see the ants

I'm usually all for giving good reviews, but this experience was just unacceptable. The woman who helped us was great -- she had a Stitch sticker on her name tag and provided really kind service. However, the reason I'm giving one star is because of what I saw around the food and drink area. As shown in the pictures below, there were ants crawling all over the counter where my drink and food were placed, and several more on the ground nearby. To me, this is a food safety issue -- and when I'm paying nearly $40 for a meal, I don't expect to be eating next to an ant trail. The photo might not capture it perfectly, but I've included a screenshot of my maps location to confirm that this was indeed the Panera we visited. I truly hope management addresses the cleanliness and pest issue here, because the staff deserve better working conditions and customers deserve a cleaner dining experience.

French dip sandwich a bit light on the beef.
    steve s.

I really like the ambiance of this place. It's feels homey to me. The cashier was courteous. The were out of the bread side. What? "Bread" is in their name! I chose the French dip sandwich based on the thick layer of beef in their menu photo. This was a disappointment (see my photo). I give them a D. Below average.

    Benny L.

Ordered a few sandwiches togo and when we got home, we noticed one of our Tuna Salad sandwich is missing something, something really important. How can a tuna salad sandwich be missing tuna salad lol. That's hilarious. To make matters more humiliating, they only offered a cookie for wasting 50 mins of my time (roundtrip), and the rest of the orders was cold by the time I'm back with the correct sandwich.

    Broccoli Cheddar Soup
    Ashley M.

Can't make this shit up, I brought this order home to go - not feeling well- and I got half way through the soup thinking I don't think this is any good- and found this! Do better - this is completely disgusting Like are we not cleaning soup containers and just dumping bags in ? Why is it clumpy ? Are we letting soups sit overnight ?! Will not be returning to this location . BEWARE ..!!!

The table was a little sticky (not sure from what) but the seats were comfortable. We were served complimentary sweet tea (black or green) which was a nice plus - you don't get this at every location. The drinks were quite sweet but had a very good tea flavor. I ordered #2 Lamb Hot Pot and hubby got #9 Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Pot both with medium spice. I personally did not experience much spice at this level so I will probably get very spicy next time. We also added the mala skewers which is my husband's favorite and again this is not available at all locations. Did not have to wait too long for our hot pot but did have to wait a little longer for the skewers. I do see this as a good sign as it hints they're not pre-made. Great assortment of skewers with generous mala sauce and flavor. Hot pot is packed with ingredients with generous serving out meat. I can finish the entire thing but if you have a smaller appetite you might want to share. I recommend asking for noodles on the side as it risks them getting soggy. Walked in during Sunday dinnertime, and the place was full. Nothing breathtaking in the decor department. It felt like most of the other pho establishments I've been to. Luckily, a table was finishing up, so we sat within 5 minutes. Side note: the front is a bit awkward because it looks like you should stop right when you walk in and be greeted by a host, but you need to keep going past to the cash register. Don't get caught standing awkwardly as we did. When we sat and got a chance to look at the menu, we were very pleased with the prices. Very affordable, and when we looked around, we saw big bowls and plates, so we thought we were in for a reasonably priced feast. We started with calamari. My husband got a small chicken pho bowl, and I got a beef vermicelli bowl. First off, the calamari, while the pieces looked humongous, was mostly just fried batter. The calamari itself was super chewy and tough. I ended up stripping most of the fried part off so I could really chew into the calamari. I did like the veggies and garnish, though. I ended up nibbling on those afterwards since I was so disappointed by the calamari. I had a small bite of my husband's pho bowl (pretty decent amount for a small) and honestly wish I had gotten that instead of my dish. My vermicelli dish had a meager amount of beef and didn't hold much of any of the flavor I tried to add. Perhaps I didn't add enough sauce or seasonings (I don't usually get vermicelli dishes). Still, I think I enjoy the overall experience of eating pho more since I can always easily take a sip of the broth to chase my food down. I probably will go back to my usual places for pho, but I feel there are still some dishes where this place shines. Unfortunately, those weren't the ones we ordered this time.

The La galbi had good flavor as well. The soy garlic beef belly was okay, not bad but nothing set it apart. The banchan apps were good but the japchae was was really good to me. The kimchi was bland tho, made me sad because I love good kimchi. The bad: soda machine was light on a couple sodas I ordered. Later on in the meal they reset the root beer soda so I really appreciate the service for that. The vent hood was really low and blocked cooking at times but we understand why it's there. Some dishes were a bit odd like the popcorn chicken, which was mostly crumbs like the bottom of a movie popcorn bucket. Service was solid, Brandon our server was nice and gave us good recommendations. We would return and hopefully I can give them more stars on my next visit.

The lighting inside was bright and welcoming as well. We had a party of eight, and I liked that they seated us with two grills, which made cooking much easier for our group. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for a table, though I wasn't sure why since there appeared to be several open tables. Dinner AYCE is $37 per person. One thing I didn't like was how low the exhaust vent hangs over the grill. It made cooking a bit difficult. We raised it higher, but the staff lowered it again because there was too much smoke. The AYCE experience includes a two-hour dining limit, and you can order up to three appetizers and three protein selections at a time. The beef selection included many of the same cuts we usually order at other KBBQ restaurants. While the quality was decent, some of the marinades were underwhelming. For example, the soy garlic beef belly was topped with sliced garlic but didn't have any of the "soy" on it . The marinated finger ribs had a nice texture and chew, but I could barely taste any marinade. The LA galbi was one of the better options, and my orders were not overly fatty. The popcorn chicken looked like it came straight from the bottom of the bucket. Most of it was tiny crumbs and fried bits rather than actual pieces of chicken. I also appreciated that the pineapple was fresh rather than canned. The scallion salad was another highlight--it included lettuce and scallions tossed in a light soy-based dressing. Our server, Brandon, was excellent. Since it was our first visit, he provided helpful recommendations and made the experience more enjoyable. Service was efficient, and our food arrived quickly throughout the meal.
