So I'm not one to visit fast food restaurants regularly but there's always a time and place for it. That time and place presented itself when I was in Dublin for a doctor's appointment. I was driving down the interstate and saw a sign for Panera and with it being 8am, a bagel sounded really nice. This location is right off the interstate and very easy to get to. The parking lot was a bit full so I was worried it would take forever and I would be late to my appointment, but when I walked in I was able to walk right up to the cashier to order. The main thing that caught my attention was that everyone was so freakin' nice. These days, that's what really matters most to me. Burn my bagel? Ok, make me a new one. Be a meanie head, ok bye!! I got my bagel quickly, it was exactly what I wanted and I left with a smile on my face. Whoever the girl is with the colorful hair, give her a raise. read more

I have GOT to stop coming to Panera. I understand they have the best quality and healthiest ingredients out of most "fast food" places, but I just cannot justify this anymore. They take forever to get an attendant to the cash register, the prices are ASTRONOMICAL (like $7 for a 4 ounce bowl of soup), it's always confusing waiting for your order because if you sit too far away you can't hear them call your name, then when they do call your name it's only 1/2 of your order that's actually ready, MEH!!! I understand if you love Panera and how it operates, but let me Atleast deter you away from buying this danged Turkey chili. This was the nastiest food I've ever eaten. I ate most of it tho (leave me alone, I'm a piggy, we don't waste any food when the stomach is in need!) The bean flavor was SO incredibly strong and potent. Maybe it's just that I'm not ChickPeas #1 biggest fan, but unless you are, you probably won't favor it. Now if you want some good soup... I put all my humble endorsement behind their Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice. SO GOOD! Anyways, skip the hospital food and save your $$$ for somewhere with better bang for your buck. Inconsistent. Inattentive. We had snow on Friday and here I am Sunday morning and the sidewalk has not been shoveled. Typical of this location - coffee runs out, some Mobile orders are fast and some take forever. Sometimes orders are at the front. Sometimes at the back and just to keep you on your toes sometimes they are in the "pick up mobile Order here" location. One time the fireplace fixer guy came in but having a working fireplace proved too hard to manage, so we don't have one. I'm a creature of habit and have been a frequent Panera visitor for years. While I love trying new places to get lunch and dinner, it's such an easy and comfortable place to have a meeting for work/fun/school, and the food items are moderately healthy and almost always on point. Over the years I've tried many of the menu items but my favorite breakfast pretty much anywhere is the egg white avocado and spinach sandwich with the green passion smoothie. It's delicious, keeps me full all day, and has only 610 calories combined. For dinner I usually get a small Mac and cheese, baguette, cookie, with a green passion smoothie. The calorie ratio on that one 1170 isn't as great but it's just so delicious. I try to order macaroni and cheese everywhere that I go if it's on the menu and Panera's white cheddar Mac is top notch. It's smooth, creamy, and the pasta is perfectly cooked al dente almost every time. The broccoli cheddar soup, Asiago bagels, chocolate chip cookies, and the cinnamon crunch bagels are other favorites of mine. I noticed a lot of negative reviews about this location and there are a few things I have seen. Due to proximity I have frequently stopped in and spent time here and they are often out of baguettes or other items such as kale or spinach which are of importance to me personally. They also tend to run slow. Luckily there are many locations around this city and it's easy to just go to another one. The Tuttle location is only an extra 10 minutes round trip and I'm pretty sure I make up the difference in the time I would be waiting extra at Perimeter. Also not sure who sees these but I used to love the cinnamon crunch scones and apple thumbprint scones and it's a bummer that they changed. Bring them back if you can please! read more

Super weird visit - everyone behind the counter was just talking and not helping customers. Only a couple customers in there - I had to ask someone if I could order, then when I said I wanted assorted bagels they were like ok so all plain? They were super unfriendly. This Panera is like any other Covetti produced restaurant. Pre-packaged items nuked in 5 minutes then served on a plate for the customer. I see it because these items are now readily available at any whole saler like Sam's or Costco. The only reason I can resume with a 2 star review is I take advantage of their seating area (which is nice and comfortable) when I'm trying to get away from the house for some peace and quiet to study for a test or meet with friends. The food is just there for profit as I see it. The space is what I care mostly for socializing or needing that time away from home to concentrate on something very important like a certification test. What had me at 2 stars is also based off a recent experience where I came in during a slow hour and instead of working on my order the workers were socializing and forgetting what the order was I asked for. It was a mess and I should have asked for the manager but thank god one of the staff there got them back to doing their job when I cued him in on what was going on. Nothing worse than watching a Panera franchise decline...Panera used to be our "go to" eating establishment for fast, healthy meals or snacks. This Panera use to be consistently good. My, how the mighty have fallen. Limited bakery items. Coffee pots either empty, missing, or luke warm. No napkins or cup sleeves available. Tables dirty, trash cans overflowing. Associates seemed uninterested and scarce. And it is not only this particular store, most have seemed on the decline. Even the music played overhead was loud and not conducive to a relaxing meal. I have been getting accustomed to the rising prices of fast food, but Panera has even taken that to a new level. Too bad, we used to love our time at Panera...especially 10+ years ago before they changed the hazelnut coffee flavor. I used to go to Panera a lot. Blame my ex. She loved it, so I ate there often. Sometimes this location, and a few others in town. I had not been here for a few years, and it was handy when I got gas next door, so I stopped in. My general impression of Panera is that they are expensive for what you get, which is small portions of not-as-healthy-as-it-seems food. They also have decent pastries and bread, but frankly, we have so many good bakery options in town that their quality is, in a relative sense, only average anymore. I got a pick-two with the new turkey kale flatbread, plus wild rice soup. Now, I used to love this soup, but my tastes or the recipe have changed. Probably both, but I remember it as being thicker, more flavorful, and more, well, ricey before. I was not impressed with this version. The flatbread was tiny, frankly. Yes, it's half a sandwich, but this seemed like a quarter of one. A small, thin square of tasteless bread, a little tasteless turkey, and tasteless kale. Blah. They had a pastry special so I added one pretty much at random, a cherry Danish. It was pretty average. Cloying, industrial filling on blah dough. Small soup, small sandwich, pastry, and drink for $12. Not very enjoyable, not a lot of food, and not a good value. Service was good, the place is comfortable to sit in, and it's nice and bright inside. Access is rough at this location if there is any traffic. You can turn right to get out, but turning left is dicey. read more

I ordered half a tuna sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup, my usual order. There was barely any tuna salad on my sandwich. The restaurant was filthy! Granted it was right after the lunch rush but there were food remnants on the floor, straw wrappers, napkins, you name it it was on the floor! Every table was dirty. I typically don't mind paying more for Panera since the food is pretty good. This experience was different .. I ordered the HOT gouda cheese and ham sandwich but asked that they put it on a brioche bun instead of the normal French bread. I got the sandwich and it was COLD. I went to the counter and said that I ordered it HOT and they said, "oh, sorry - let me take care of this". They came back and said sorry, we cannot do it back here but the microwave is behind you. REALLY, Panera! $38 for 2 sandwiches and a half salad and you want me to microwave it. I can do that at home and spend $5. Even more frustrating was that I called corporate and they took my information and said "sorry - this is a franchised location and we cannot help you". Wow, way to stand behind your product Panera. I stopped by this location on the road and I wasn't disappointed. It's a very clean, we'll run establishment. They accurately make the food ordered and in a hasty fashion. Probably one of the best Chicken Caesar salads and cups of French Onion soups I have had from a Panera. I also ordered a Superfruit smoothie and it was less than stellar. I am not sure what was bad exactly, but it seemed as though they didn't put enough of the mixture in. Maybe just a bad day? We have been regular customers for several years. This location was not considered the cleanest or most efficient due to the local management. Let me be clear that I love their food when they get it right. I work nearby with limited time to get out to lunch so I use their rapid pickup online ordering. It is quick and easy, however every time I use it something is wrong with the order. They frequently leave out salad ingredients that should be there ( and I'm looking forward to because they are awesome) and by the time I'm back to my desk and eating it (while on a meeting) I realize it is wrong. Ordered curb side on the app. Arrived 2 minutes before the given "ready" time and notified I had arrived. 13 minutes after the given "ready" time I called only to be met with attitude and having to yell in my phone so the person could hear me. I told her I had waited 13 minutes past the given time and couldn't wait any longer. She then says it will be another 10-20 minutes for my food and asked if that was okay. I said no and that I needed to cancel and get a refund. She couldn't help me so I was placed in Homs till another lady picked up and I had to explain everything again. She said she would cancel my order and refund, but wasn't sure when I'd see my money back and that they were super busy. The parking lot wasn't even half full. I can only rate my experience at Panera today a one Star and that is only because the cashier who helped us was very nice. Apart from that, nothing at this location seemed to be up to standards set by fast food places. Bathrooms out of order, all pastries and soufflés were burnt and displayed. The drip coffee had grounds in it. Only food that our group ate that was decent was what was made fresh. Sadly it is not even 10am, I'd expect panera to be on their game this time of morning. None of us complained in store because there was very clearly two managers running the front so supervisions was present. I've never seen the food so burnt at a panera before and cannot believe you would put all of that out to sell. Lastly, the cinnamon rolls tasted like pure cooking spray. Update: my fiancé and I are now sick with stomach issues. We were the only two off our group to order and eat a pastry item (the cinnamon rolls mentioned above that I thought tasted like chemicals) and believe this is the cause of the illness that came on quickly. read more

One of the worst locations I've ever been to. Rudest employees and the food is consistently old and terrible. This is a location to avoid!

Our Panera is the worst! The employees are RUDE. They can't put the items that you order in a bag. This happens every single time we order on-line from this company, and believe me, over the past 5 years, I have only ordered maybe 5 times from them because they are so incompetent. Tonight was the worst it has ever been. My husband went to pick up our order, and only soup was in the bag. He tried to tell an employee that we ordered other items, and the RUDE employee said you need to go over there. Then he got home with the 5 items that we ordered only to find out that they didn't put the baguette in the bag with the soup. This Panera needs to be replaced with a restaurant that can serve the people of Dublin. They have been incompetent for years! Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for a meal.
