First time I order to go food from Pita Int although been living in the area for 25 years and since the previous place closed. I have to say very surprised! The portions were awesome , quality of the food was awesome and the taste was you got it amazing! We got the pita with gyro meat and the kebab chicken platter! I am hooked!

Ordered pickup yesterday from this place since I was in the area. It was ready before the time they said which was nice. Guy at the counter was friendly and had my order ready to go. As far as the food, I will say the portion sizes are really good. Veggies are fresh enough. What lost me a little bit was the flavor/dryness of the food. I got sauce on my gyro but either it wasn't there or very little. Same with the cauliflower salad, I would have expected maybe a little more seasoning? It was pretty much just roasted cauliflower, onion and green peppers. Not terrible but not enough to really pull me in.

I have no notes. I blasted in here just before closing and asked for a falafel pita. It was ready in mere moments and it was SO GOOD!!! I definitely plan to return. Fresh, flavorful and packed with veggies, this was a wonderful meal I hope to repeat soon! Cute cafe, nice people - oh heck I just need to drive there right now. Their falafel hits all the right spots! I only wish I had paused to take a photo before I inhaled it.

Not sure if this is family business but it feels that way whenever I go in. Regulars for lunch and dinner visit while so many others like me get it to go. Staff is always genuinely pleasant and patient. Parking is never a problem and I'm always able to get in and out whether it's lunch, dinner or right before they close. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. I had eaten here years ago, but my son re-introduced me to Pita Int as I use to go to another local spot. After, a couple of trips back, this is now my now my go to. So many options to choose. I've had just about everything and recommend the rice bowl. All the ingredients are fresh and portion sizes are generous. Lettuce, tomato, onions, cucumbers and banana peppers are a staple for me. My go to is the chicken shawarma but the rotisserie chicken is second followed by the falafel. You can also mix up and go half and half. The hidden gem that I always get is the cauliflower salad. Their tzatziki is amazing and the different hummus's are always a great topper. For those who like it spicy get their red sauce (in addition to the tzatziki) and try their spicy hummus. Pita Int is consistently a great experience and value and highly recommend you try.

Pita Int is a great place for quick weekday takeout dinner option. I have been coming here for years right by the giant eagle market place. They offer Mediterranean bowls like chipotle style and gyros are great as well. I always get their gyro meat with everything on it. I love their pita int sauce and garlic sauce. Do get yourself a warm pita bread on the side. They are priced right and portions are great! I usually have leftovers for lunch next day.

Delicious! We've both dined-in here for a snack and placed a large take out order. Both times, the food was excellent quality and super fresh. Wonderful flavor combinations and variety. Highly recommend any of their appetizers, proteins, and sauces!

It's always a treat whenever our office orders Pita Int for lunch. I've never been inside the store; we always get Pita Int delivered, so this review doesn't include anything regarding within the restaurant. Their website is easy to maneuver and their descriptions are straight forward and to the point what you're ordering. I used to treat Pita Int similarly to Chipotle where I would order a Rice bowl. If you're doing the same, you are missing out on their amazing Hummus bowl. It's just $0.50 more, but it makes a huge difference in flavor. I always get Gyro (my favorite), but my coworkers have told me the Chicken Shawarma and the Falafel are both delicious as well. You gotta get all the toppings and Tzatziki sauce. You also get a complimentary side of pita bread to go with your bowl, which isn't mentioned on the website so that's always a nice surprise. The bowl portions are huge, but it feels healthy because it's mainly vegetables except for the protein! Think of it like a giant salad that just happens to have gyro in it!

I had to drop off my better half's dental molds to the dentist (no, not a joke), and then realized the dentist closes early on Fridays. I realized it was lunchtime, not due to the clock, but due to my stomach growling (sometimes I'm a creature of habit, and sometimes I'm like a toddler that needs to eat every two hours), so I decided to try a new place for lunch on my way back: Pita International. Signage in this plaza can make things appear hidden (i.e. like the time I drove around for over an hour in this shopping plaza to look for a restaurant, come to find out it was directly in front of me, due to their inconspicuous signage). Luckily, Pita International has a purple and yellow sign and is located between a UPS store and a nail/tanning salon. This time I didn't have problems finding the place, but I did have problems parking. Apparently everyone is on the same schedule. After circling the parking lot for 10 minutes, I finally found a spot. I walked into Pita International and a smell of curry, spices, onions filled the air. A sweet aroma. I felt like one of those cartoon characters who winds up flying due to the smell of a pie/good food cooking. Although I had the option of eating my meal there, I opted to get it to go. I ordered a chicken Shawarma pita. The guy at the counter was pleasant and added what seemed to be 3 lbs of chicken to the pita. As he kept scooping more and more chicken I thought to myself several things: 1. That's a lot of chicken 2. That has to be at least 2 whole chicken breasts 3. This pita is going to bust it's so full 4. How will he be able to fit all the "fixins" in the pita? 5. I'll never be able to eat all of that food After he was done scooping the chicken into the pita, it was time to choose my fixins (fixins always reminds me of Roy Roger restaurants in rest areas, because they used to have a fixins bar....I digress). I opted for tomatoes, lettuce, and cucumbers (the cucumbers were skinless, which I appreciate and love). The guy made the pita meticulously as to what order the items are placed on the pita. For instance, I mentioned lettuce, but he said that goes on last. I then got taziki sauce and topped the whole pita with feta. He wrapped the pita up in foil, I paid and was on my way. After driving about five minutes to my destination, I was ready to dig in. I carefully unwrapped the pita because I thought for sure that the whole thing was going to either break apart or explode, due to being so chockful. I bit into the ginormous pita. The chicken was perfectly seasoned with a curry-esque flavor. Each piece of chicken was super moist and flavorful. The crunch of the lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers paired nicely with the seasoned chicken. The taziki was creamy, flavorful, and garlicky. Just how I like it (please note, I'm Gree-talian, Greek/Italian, so I take my taziki seriously). The feta was soft and salty. The marriage of flavors was like a symphony in my mouth. Remember how above when I said "5. I'll never be able to eat all that food." I was wrong. I ate every last bite. Pros: -Enough meat in my pita to feed two, maybe three people -Fixins are fresh -Variety of items on the menu -Chicken is seasoned to perfection -Service is quick and pleasant Cons: -My self-control -Parking during peak times like lunch/dinner/after work can be problematic Tips: Since portions are so large, you could probably share with a friend/significant other/your pet/etc. Unless you're me, then you eat the entire pita.
