I have no idea why there is a line at this place?! The only thing I can say positive about the quality/cost ratio is that the bread is decent. A meal that cost $15 should not leave you hungry. I got a Cuban (Whole sandwich is smaller than a Wawa shorti.) cup of chicken noodle, and a drink. The Cuban had a total of 1 slice of ham and what looked like some leftover pork after slicing a pork roast. A few pickles and a lot of mustard. Not even sure if there was Swiss cheese. The soup did not even taste as good as a can of Progresso. Honestly, you would get a much better meal at Wawa for 1/2 the price and I am not a fan of Wawa with the exception of their chicken noodle soup and meatball sandwich. Check out the dozens of local establishments in less than a few miles of this place. Ten times better would be an understatement! read more

Worst experience at a Panera - ever. We frequent the chain a lot, but this was a way below par experience. While we waited for our food, I watched the one woman making sandwiches eating meat right off of them before wrapping them and handing them to the customer ahead of me. While they were making my flatbread pizza, they made the wrong one. The guy showed the manager and said "I guess we need to remake a new one" and the manager told him not to make new one and to give it to us anyway without saying anything. This used to be a decent Panera, but I doubt I'll come back here to this particular store again. read more

What is the first rule for any business establishment, especially if they serve food? SANITATION SANITATION SANITATION Stopped here to pick up some breakfast. As usual, the customer service is affable and the speed of placing my order was timely. While standing by waiting for my drink, I could not help but notice a trash can adjacent to drink making area full of trash with a milk carton and banana peel sticking out for all to see. Not too much of a concern because if trash is in the can you will see it. However, what is inexcusable is the trash that surrounded the can on the floor and after several staff (one of which was a manager) that were in close proximity and one even tossed something in the can, no one saw that the can needed to be emptied and the trash on the floor. As I stood there, I looked over and noted another trash can similarly full with a staff member standing directly next to it counting money on a counter. What is even more baffling is the fact that it was a little after 9:30 a.m., both cans were full and no one thought to empty them. Like neither of the managers that were there or they could have directed the line staff to do so!?. One of which (manager) was standing by both cans... DUH.. She may not own the place but where is the pride in your job and setting an example. So, I contemplated on whether to say something or not. Figured I would not be a faceless cyber critic or coward and write something when I had every opportunity to say something. So, I did. I saw one of the managers wiping tables and told him I did not think it was a good look to have full trash cans or trash on the floor as people are waiting for their food. Distasteful and shows lack of attention to detail... I'm not saying I will not go back to this Panera because anyone can have an off day but if I see it again, I will write about it and no longer patronize this establishment... read more

As far as Panera locations go, I thought this one was okay. I didn't like it as much as the location I frequent most in Delran. I did the You Pick Two combo with French onion soup (I really like their version because it's not too heavy but still delicious) and the roasted turkey and avocado BLT which was super boring. The tomato was flavorless and the applewood smoked bacon was very reminiscent of microwave bacon. But it was one of the healthier options on the menu, without the mayo. I do really love the Panera card because I seem to rack up rewards pretty quickly. As far as chain breakfast/lunch spots go, I'm a fan. read more

Until today, I had not detected any inconsistency between the various Panera locations in south Jersey. This location has the best service, hands down. Don't get me wrong -- the service is good to excellent at the other locations, but here, I don't know -- they're just friendlier and more personable. I went in to grab some cookies as an afterschool snack for my favorite little misses and the girl working the bakery counter was really something else -- very friendly and conversational. She made this visit stand out from any other visit I've ever made to any Panera location. read more

Bagels are very good, I buy a dozen about every 2 weeks. My other favorite is the Fugi Apple Chicken Salad. The black bean soup, veggie soup, & turkey chili are very good also. read more

Panera as a whole is pretty good, there is nothing wrong with this one either. A bit too expensive, but I have been enjoying their salads more than Salad Works lately. The chicken avacado chop salad is a favorite, the sandwiches are good, but I am not a big fan of their soup selection. The parking lot is a pain. They have some nice hot tea selections (as well and tasty unsweetened ice tea selections). The coffee is pretty good, and brewed throughout the day. read more

The asiago bagels are awesome! We don't have Panera near us so when I travel and see one, we go there. It's a chain, but they're clean, efficient, and tasty. That's all good. :) read more

I will start with the good. I tried the lobster sandwich and the strawberry poppy seed salad. Hi really enjoyed the salad. I could have eaten that alone. It was fresh and flavorful; not overpowering at all. The lobster sandwich was decent. The negative was the service from the cashier. She was not kind in any way. The cashier next to her was better than she with speaking to me. However, it's not going to keep me from returning. read more

I come get almost daily and usually love to start my day this way but today I had the rudest staff member I've ever met here, Ayana, and I am not exaggerating. The manager and the other staff members are awesome and always sweet or friendly but this one girl had the worst attitude to be greeting and taking morning orders. She had accumulated a wait and the woman before me in line was left waiting excessively long. She told me she couldn't warm my pastry which I get warmed daily and told me to warm it myself. If that's a policy, it's not followed by everyone but I think she just didn't want to. I will be skipping panera on days when Ayana works!!! Aside from that, food is great! read more

I had to run into the Walmart and wanted to pick something up for dinner. Since Panera is in the same strip mall I opted for that. We ordered one of the green goddess salads with chicken. One Fuji Apple and chicken salad and one turkey avocado club sandwich all to go. Food was prepared pretty quickly and they really packed the salads very full. The salad ingredients were all very fresh and I had a whole half of avocado in my salad. The chicken in all their salads is very good sliced thin and very fresh as well. Panera seems to pride themselves on their quality ingredients and I agree with that. The only thing I'd have to say negatively is the containers for takeout are s not small for their salads they are kind of squashed in and you can't really mix it well with the dressings. Even though they ppl twodressing cups per salad it doesn't seem like enough dressing. All in all I like this location and the staff is very friendly. read more

Great service here. Today I did the soup and sandwich combo. I was reluctant to try the butternut squash soup because it was vegetarian but it was awesome. Lots of flavor and very creamy. The sandwich I got was the Chipotle chicken avocado melt. Nice chunks of breast meat and fresh avocado.. Also has great flavor. Wish there was a Panera closer to home. read more

I use to be a very loyal customer to Panera bread. On 8/22 I went and saw they had a lobster roll on the menu which I have never seen before. I was beyond disappointed. It tasted like the lobster was sitting out for hours it was tasteless and chewy. The roll was soggy and falling apart. I would give Panera a 0 if I could. I will not be going back to Panera again. read more

Apple chicken 1/2 salad was delicious. So fresh and incredible but I don't know about putting a couple onion slices in it, meh. Steak and cheese 1/2 panini was good. Tons of people here but the line moved quickly. Very good service. Spent $10.36 and was very full and enjoyed my meal. read more

As for food, consistent with all Paneras so there should be no surprise there. I was a little shocked at this location because it's tiny. Luckily it wasn't too packed when I went but I could see that being a problem if it was. Staff was very friendly as well. Love this place! A tad pricey but a great place for a fast, healthy, yummy meal! The butternut squash ravioli is a MUST.
