Trying to incorporate more anti-scurvy food, so this seemed like a good option. And then I walked in and decided, nah, I want a sandwich. I ordered their "Loaded Chicken Salad Sandwich." Well, you get your choice of whole wheat or white rolls, so there's that. The sandwich itself was quite good, though I had hoped for a bit more greenery. Next time I'll ask them to add a bit more lettuce if it's not a problem. I asked for the rye bread to be toasted, and it was, lightly. Overall decent, but perhaps priced a little higher than I expected. As a plus, the service was fast and it was delivered to our table, a nice touch. The salad was made fresh and looked good. A good value for the money. Friendly and professional employees. The place is a sewer. The bathroom had no fan and smelled like burned broccoli. The carpet is worn and a bacteria sponge. The ceiling tiles have collected years of dust, dirt, and what appears to be smoke around the vents. The whole place smells from impossible to achieve cleaning. It just seems old and treated like a forgotten senior in a nursing home. The place needs updating and routine cleaning. It is falling apart and inconsistent with Saladworks' desired image of healthy food. read more

Nothing's changed. The woman who measures portions out like they are hundred dollars bills is still there. It's sad. If you go to Saladworks at Moorestown Mall you'll see the difference. man do i miss saladworks. there is no place like it. fast, cheap, healthy food. you can't go wrong. this location is pretty much the same as any other... slightly better service than the cherry hill / rt. 70 location but they don't always have everything. i suggest that you "make your own". my own personal recipe: lettuce, pasta, carrots, more carrots, white mushrooms, green peppers, provolone cheese, black olives, sunflower seeds, and italian vinaigrette. done. yum. read more

I would have to say that this is by far the friendliest and the best Saladworks I have EVER been to! They just renovated it and it looks great! Since it's two doors down from where I work I eat there all the time and everyone there pretty much knows who I am! It's very busy at lunchtime! I feel very comfortable coming to this location which is always a bonus! read more

Would you like some salad with your dressing?!?!? Food is good (when not overly dressed - read on) but service could use an overhaul! When I am paying $8+ for a salad my only expectation is that the person making it listen to what I am asking for. On the last three occasions at this location I said "easy on the dressing please" because while I love my dressing mixed in, I want to actually taste something other than dressing. I have even tried to clarify by saying only 1/2 a ladle please...and regardless of how I word it, they load up the salad with the dressing thereby ruining the whole thing. Took my Daughter for her first visit to Salad Works. Horrible experience. No smiles or even a hello from the three workers behind the counter. Drab, boring, and I'm the kind of person who rarely writes anything about poor service unless I truly get it. They didn't even ask my Daughter what kind of dressing she liked. Love saladworks but this one is chincy. The ingredients were fresh but my salad was pretty small compared to what I get at other locations.

The salads here are kind of weak; 6 slices of cherry tomatoes? 5 pieces of broccoli? The only thing they gave me a fair amount of were onions which my wife was quite appreciative of... no, really... basically these salads are very leafy, with a few treats (ie, the vegetable toppings). Maybe a rabbit would be pleased but I don't think this would pass as worthy for anything/one larger. Don't get me wrong, the portion size is good, it would just be nice to have less leaf and more real vegetables, especially at 9.40+ a pop. read more

My wife and I read the reviews which we saw were mixed. Our daughter said she likes Saladworks. We gave the Marlton, NJ a try. We ordered two combos which you get a half of salad, a cup of soup and a beverage. First the soup. I ordered the crab bisque and there wasn't a single piece of crab to be found. My wife's soup was the broccoli cheese, thick and brown. The soup had the consistency of pudding. Broccoli cheese is thick but not like this. This soup looked like it was laying around for sometime. She couldn't eat it. I ordered the chicken mandarin salad. There was probably about a teaspoon of mandarin oranges in it if that! I didn't see much chicken either. My wife ordered the garden salad. It was just ok. For $23.07 it's not worth it. This will be our first and last time there. read more
