Sweetgreen is one of my Goto lunch spots when I'm in the office so I was super excited to find out they opened a new location in Marlton. It's inside the promenade, which is such a fun and lively shopping plaza. Do some shopping and grab food from here afterwards. I stopped by around 5pm on a weekday and it was extremely busy with a long line. I ordered my favorite harvest bowl and the employee who prepared my food was very professional and knew exactly what she was doing. She made it to perfection and it tasted great! I love all the ingredients that are in this bowl and it will fill you up for hours. Highly recommend this bowl option when dining at sweetgreen. I will definitely be back! read more

It's too many options out here for weird interactions...... Very disappointing customer service. I stopped by the Sweetgreen in Marlton with my disabled mother, who was waiting in the car. She was having trouble using the app/website and simply wanted to look at a paper menu before ordering. I went inside and asked for one. The young employee helping me was happy to give me a menu, but another employee--who wasn't even helping us--interrupted and flat-out said, "No." He didn't ask why I needed it, didn't offer an explanation, and didn't try to help in any way. He actually stopped the first employee from giving me the menu. It was such a strange interaction. My mom loves Sweetgreen, so instead of leaving for CAVA or Saladworks, I just guessed what she'd want and ordered for her. This wasn't about a paper menu--it was about basic customer service. If someone asks for a menu, especially because they're trying to help a disabled family member who is having trouble with technology, the response shouldn't be an immediate "No" without even asking why. I don't know what was going through his head, but the whole interaction was unnecessary and left a bad impression. A little kindness and common sense go a long way. read more

Tried Sweet Green for the first time today and it was great! Lots of fresh, healthy and delicious options to choose from to build your own bowl or salad. This was my 1st time trying sweetgreen. I ordered: MISO GLAZED SALMON Miso glazed salmon, avocado, cucumbers, pickled onions, crispy onions, white rice , nori sesame seasoning, spicy cashew. I will admit that I wish more rice came with this plate. The salmon was cooked perfectly. I finished the entire plate! It was just enough food. Okay, I want to love this place. The atmosphere is okay, the servers are pretty nice, but holy moly the portions are horrendous. I paid 18 dollars for 5 small pieces of chicken, 1/8 cup of rice and a few veggies. The majority of my bowl was lettuce and cucumber, which I know aren't that pricy. I've been to other salad bars with so much better value and the same food quality. Now, I know this isn't the staff's fault. Many restaurants are forced to do this penny pinching because of management but it's gone too far. I can't justify eating here again. read more

I love the food here. I always do a create your own salad and put whatever I want in it but the options they have are also good. The service is pretty good even when it's busy! The ambiance is similar to that of any normal cafe or lunch place and is modern and clean. I ordered the Shroomami. It wasn't worth the price. I might as well have just purchased a bag of salad greens from the supermarket. I feel that's what I ended up with. They forgot the mushrooms. There wasn't a lot of wild rice, cucumbers, almonds, or tofu. It was 90% kale. read more

I was torn between 3 & 4 stars, even though the TASTE was a 5. I have been to the Philly & NYC locations dozens of times, so if I didn't know any better, maybe I would say 5, but I know better, and with this being a brand new location open a week, it was disappointing that they gave me two thirds the amount of greens they typically do & when I asked for carrots, the amount they gave me was MAYBE a third of a typical serving there, to the point where I said, "that's all?", and she doubled the amount, making it almost a full serving. Sweet Green is my favorite salad place of all the chains but I probably will not go back until they're more established because the staff are either still learning or very stingy. $14 was too much for a salad about two thirds of the size it should be. I agree with the other review. Everything tastes amazing I'll give them that, nothing wrong there. However, I've been to other sweetgreen locations multiple times and have gotten bigger portions at all of them. My wife's bowls was also saying the same as I am. I'm not one to usually complain about pricing/portions but at this location I have noticed the portions in general are very small. I understand the toppings being small but the chicken and rice portions I feel should be a little more than what they are. You hardly get any protein for the money you are paying and I've been left wanting more after clearing my bowl at this location both times. On the other hand, at other locations I always have been plenty full and even had leftovers sometimes. If they could work on this they would definitely have 5 stars. read more

Dear Harper and Scott: It is because I support local small businesses that are truly making a difference in food industry (clean and green) that I feel you might care about my experience at one of your locations recently. I stopped by "sweetgreen located in marlton NJ, promenade plaza" -at approx. 2:30pm. The store was empty, so I thought perfect for me I can take my time as questions. I walked in smiled at your staff. Explained that It was my first visit and if they could tell me a lil bit about their food. They pointed me to the menu above their heads. So I asked what was a "big seller or customer favorite" one female staff rolled her eyes and said the harvest bowl. Did not go on to explain what was in it. So I looked and read the menu myself. I then saw the carmelized beef (shown as steak strips in the menu pic, but cubed beef given in my order). I ordered the beef etc plate. The female staff proceeded to throw small spoonfuls of the stuff that goes into the order (literally like trash) onto a plate, then moved down the assembly line of additional items, never asking me if I may change out broccoli for another vegetable. (remember I said this is my first time at sweetgreen, hence pls instruct me what I can have options on). She walked right up to cash register and proceeded to ring me out. No eye contact nothing, blank stare. Ok rude and obnoxious come to mind. I say to her, was there at any time a possible chance to get a different veg other than the broccoli? She said you never said anything. Well i said You did not ever offer that as you threw the food like garbage onto my plate! She changed out the broccoli for beans. Rung me out $18 + later she walks back to the other staff members and sighs very loudly at my back as I proceeded to the door. Very bad attitudes are a big reason not to frequent an establishment and that's a shame b/c we support your type of conscientious establishment and liked the food. There are lots of choices out there. I hope you appreciate this message and will take care of it. Thank you. read more
