For my first visit, Sunjay and his teammates were delightful. The food was great (lamb and steak gyro with rice/lentils & avocado) . I'm a sucker for baklava & am super glad I grabbed two, cause WOW. Delicious!! Nice and cozy, although a bit too cozy on the seating arrangement. Being a bigger person, I'm not a fan of the tables being bolted down, but it is what it is I guess. I get completely flustered and i need to work on looking at the menu in advance. Especially during lunch rush ugghhhhhh! I ordered the mezeh Greek salad. The service was friendly and quick! No issues there. The food area was clean and organized. No issues there. While the salad ingredients were fresh, it was extremely watery. It wasn't the dressing. Maybe the chickpea salad?!? No clue. We went here when they first opened about a year ago and went back again last week. When we arrived there was no one in line, but the employees were just standing around back away from the counter and didn't come to help us for a few minutes. I asked to do the messy classic bowl in the kids size, since I never eat a full bowl and they said it couldn't be done. I have done this many times at the Mezeh by my home in Virginia. They were out of a few of the ingredients that were supposed to go into my bowl, so I had to choose other options. The Cava-type franchise that is adding a new location in Hamilton this summer continues to impress with its fresh ingredients and range of options. The only struggle at at least at this Mt. Laurel location is orders over the app are rarely accurate especially when you customize. You maybe just better off standing in line and pointing to what you want! And when we ate in this time late in the evening, finding a clean table was not easy. Of course like all other food establishments, shrinkflation is the name of the game and so the meat portions continue to dwindle! So add extra meat may need to be added if you seek a dinner option. read more

Checked out this new spot while Black Friday Shopping. Think of it as Chipotle meets Mediterranean Food. I loved it! Obsessed, just wish it was closer and more convenient for me to get too! I found it to be an even better upgrade to the Naf Naf Grill that used to be in the area. The employees were very helpful, especially to my guests who had never eaten this style of food before. This place was far above average and surprisingly traditional and fresh. In a parking lot with a bunch of chain shops and food spots I didn't expect the quality and freshness this spot offered. You are hit with the charcoal grill and the staff roasted whole eggplant over the coals. The inside is really clean and modern but also has a twist of traditional tile and a Mediterranean vibe to it. My daughter (6) loves the falafel and shredded lamb over rice and she is very picky. The lamb was flavorful and juicy and shredded magic. The lamb gyro was loaded with flavor and had a great portion. I got the avocado spicy lamb bowl and it was terrific. Basmati rice loaded with all the fixings lamb kefta,Lebanese tabbouleh, pearl couscous, roasted tomato and pepper dip, avocado , feta, and pickled onions. The flavor and portions were so amazing and massive it was worth the $18.00 seriosuly. The quality was out of this world and I am surprised I have never heard of this place. The best thing was it was built to order and there is no wait time. It left me feeling full but in a healthy way. No heavy bloated feeling just a happy gut. I will definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend going here. The star of the show were the two ladies working here, very patient and kind and made the experience with while. Mine looked like a complete meal and the chicken wrap was much less full. Fast forward a few hours and my husband has food poisoning. Finally checked out this new "Chipotle style" restaurant for lunch today. I ordered a bowl (you can also order a stuffed pita) which you then instruct the counter person what ingredients you want added to the greens. I asked for shredded lamb as my protein (because you cannot get that just everywhere), and that was $3 extra. The tables are pretty basic wood tables and except for a few padded booths, hard wood chairs. Only reason why I didn't score 5 stars was because many of the tables were dirty as there wasn't anyone around wiping down tables after lunchtime. I was there around 3 pm so the crowds were long gone. Yes, I'll return again. The food is that good and very fresh. read more

This is a fairly new place-very similar in cuisine to Cava. However, I believe the price point is lower, but quality is still pretty good. There was a staff member (forgot her name) who was very friendly and knowledgeable, and patiently walked me through each individual food item, with a complete list of their ingredients. I loved the shredded lamb, but the steak shawarma was a bit chewy. The roasted eggplant was delicious, and I loved the idea of the crunchy chick peas, but some were a lil burnt. The portion sizes are very generous with great prices. I paid less that $12 for a massive bowl with LOTS of different Mediterranean sides (couscous, Turkish salad, tabouleh, chickpea salad, etc) The decor inside has a cool vibe to it also. Considering this is a build your own, this is fantastic for the business model! Slightly tight on the protein portions but the rest of the portions were fantastic. One bowl, with the up charge lamb, was $11 per bowl. Nice ambiance, too! Hip, cool music. Service is average. Staff seems new but quite nice and they smile often. Eat here. Often. Both my boys ended up liking it more than Chipotle. However, getting there for 3-4pm to give kids room to try the different palate, leaves too much time with a front of house staff more comfortable in the kitchen. You don't do certain things in front of people going out to eat... and even if you've seen the inside of a commercial kitchen, it's weird to go out for a glum-faced crew that acts like you're crashing their break hours. Another Mediterranean chain did not survive in the space, and it's a shame because the menu is a throughly healthy alternative to so much else in fast-casual. Panera's menu is not our favorite, but their management structures really pep up the staff. It'd be nice to have such a healthy eatery more able to frequent. read more
