I ordered this through Uber Eats, so part of my experience is not the restaurant fault however, my order did not come with any naan bread. I ordered chicken korma nowhere on the app. Does it tell me that it does not come with this just like it didn't tell me it came with rice yet it came with the rice. Uber customer service is telling me that I have to pay for the bread separately if that is true, then this restaurant is horrible. What Indian place does not give.Naan bread with their orders that's pretty much unheard of just like not giving race with their orders is unheard of. So I think the best bet is just the order from a different Indian place.. and not have to deal with the nonsense. We were craving some Indian food and came across Tiffin. There weren't many people seated in the dining area so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves but the kitchen was very busy with takeaways. The clerk was very nice and attentive. The food was amazing! We had the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and chicken curry makhani. The curry was packed with flavor in each bite, the medium spicy level was just right, and the garlic naan was aromatic and thick enough to dip in the curry if you wanted to. The service was incredibly friendly. The inside is a bit lack luster but that didn't affect the food. Delicious and SO flavorful. My son loves chili paneer and he stated the chili paneer at Tiffin is his favorite so far. The chicken tikka masala came out and was not that creamy orange color you usually see, I prejudged that it wasn't going to be great- well it is probably the best chicken tikka masala I have ever had! Wasn't sure if I wanted to try this place after recent reviews but their special sounded like a good way to give them a try. I had the chicken tikka masala with medium spice, garlic naan and vegetable samosas. The serving had about 8 chicken chunks with plenty of sauce. I think it was a good sized dinner portion for an adult or in my case, lunch for two to share. I am not too well versed in Indian food but it was pretty good. The medium spice was a bit mild for me so I might ask for a little more heat next time. We picked up the food and it was ready at the time we specified. read more

Came here for lunch this past week. Not the greatest food. Both of us got the lunch combination. Price was very reasonable for this and there was a crazy amount of food. The samosa was the best part of the meal and makes you think all is well. But alas, the rest of everything was quite meh to bad. The rice itself almost seemed undercooked and hard. The chicken tikka masala was downright sweet and just way too creamy. Chicken pieces themselves were quite bland. Sag paneer suffered the same fate, except not as sweet. The paneer itself didn't seemed to be cooked that well prior to being placed in the gravy. Again, very bland. Chana (chick peas) were OK. Consistency was good and it looked right, but again bland. Lentils were bland. The naan bread they give you with the meal is decent but very oily. mango lassi was the other stand out from the meal. After eating it also felt like a ton of bricks had hit me because it was all so heavy and creamy. Fine I suppose if you just want a bunch of food for a not bad price. However if you look at the prices for dinner, assuming the quality is the same the prices are crazy. Server was nice and service was quick. Unfortunately can't say I would come back here. My wife and I stopped in Tiffin for lunch recently. Tiffin is located on the corner of Route 70 and Springdale Roads, in of course, a strip mall. The space is very pleasant and has a simple but pleasant vibe. Tiffin is nicely decorated and there was some cool lighting going on. They display their spices behind the counter. Tiffin has 6 locations is Pennsylvania, this is their first in South Jersey. Lunch was $11.00 each, and came with an entree, classic Naan bread and a vegetable samosa. We had the Chicken Tika Masala, my personal favorite Indian dish, and the Lamb Roganjosh. (lamb, ginger and garam masala). Both dishes were excellent and we shared them mini-family style. Neither dish had a lot of heat. The Nann bread was great, hot and fresh and the samosa was not greasy and had a nice kick to it. The lunch price isn't a bargain but it was very reasonable for the quality of the food and the three different items included. The portions were a good size. My wife was digging the Spotify music channel Tiffin was playing also. Our server was really pleasant and attentive. The food came out fairly quickly. Average. Chicken not simmered with curry, rather chicken added to already cooked curry. Think chunks of white meat also prevented much absorption of the curry. Sauce could have used strips of ginger, more coriander leaves, and tomatoes in it. Papadum was complimentary, but naan is charged by the piece. Gulab jamun was $4.50 for two small pieces. Restaurant staff attentive, but not familiar with many Indian dishes, which was surprising. Restaurant appeared clean, but sparse, and floors just a little slippery outside of washroom. I have to admit that I only ordered a few items, but the preparation method and choice of overall meal sensory effect was quite average as a whole. My date and I had a 4 course meal from a discount website coupon offer. It was a score for us since we were craving Indian food. For our appetizer: 1) Veggie samosa - although it is described as a "crispy flour pastry with potato and peas filling," it was simply a fried potato that was dry. They serve complimentary table sauces so it was nice that I could add some flavor to this dish (or any other food). 2) Aloo Papri Chaat - "Lentil wafers topped with potatoes, garbanzo beans, yogurt and chutneys." I thought this appetizer was full of flavor and killed it compared to the samosa. I love chickpeas so maybe I'm a little bias but regardless, every bite was making my taste buds want another bite. Entree: Chicken Korma - "Breasts of chicken cooked in a cashew nut gravy." The sauce was creamy and it did have a cashew undertone that wasn't overbearing. The dish comes with rice, was not spicy at all, had a light seasoning to it, the chicken was very moist and delicious. Although smaller than expected, it was pretty good. Naan/bread: PeshawariNaan- "Flat bread baked in a tandoor and stuffed with almond, pistachio, coconut and cashew nuts" STUFFED? Not quite. The bread itself was cooked with just the right amount of heat--not too burnt and not underdone. It was light and flaky. I would like to have had more nuts inside the Naan but I'd order it again without thinking twice. Dessert: Tiramisu- I wasn't digging this dessert. Maybe it was because the cake part is inside and not the way I have had tiramisu before. Inside Tiffin it has a casual fast food type of vibe with candles, napkin linens and candles on each table. I haven't had any good Indian food lately and it being brought up in a conversation earlier in the day, it felt like a perfect time to get some. After a long day, I decided to stay in and order out. The order arrived piping hot in the time frame I was given. I went with my classic choice of Chicken Tikki Masala and garlic Naan. You get to pick a heat level: mild, medium, or spicy. I at first picked spicy, but thankfully for my better judgement went with medium. They weren't kidding around on the spice here. Really great flavor with plenty of chicken. The garlic Naan was good, but could have been..fluffier, in my opinion. I'd be happy to try more out on the menu as this was a good experience and restaurant to add to my list of go-to's. read more

Meh. I got takeout. The service was fine, but the food, Alu Ghobi, and Chicken Biryani, were very bland, noting that I'm not referring to hotness. The bread - Naan, and Roti was also underwhelming. Ordered lunch special again, against my better judgement, since I work relatively close and didn't have time to go to an awesome buffet nearby (Coriander). I placed my order online, which is great,and my food was ready when I got there. All positives. The store appears clean, the spices in containers is nice to look at, and my food smelled WONDERFUL. I returned to my work-place, opened my bag of deliciousness and found my Chicken Tika Masala - while beautiful, fragrant and delicious, was seriously lacking in chicken. There were 3.5 chunks of chicken in my container - and while tasty, was not worth the $11 and change paid for it. I could buy an entire chicken and make my own sauce and feed my office for that price LOL, though of course I did not and won't. I provided feedback to Tifin via their survey system and the response I got was: "I'm hoping you understand that the lunch special is a smaller portion but includes an appetizer, bread and rice for $11 (plus tax)" Um, of COURSE i know it's a smaller portion, but 3.5 chunks of chicken is not just a smaller portion unless their $14.00 entree which doesn't include the onion bhaji/samosa and naan, has maybe 7 chunks? I haven't ordered a full sized entree from them, so I do not know for sure. Just wanted to ensure any of my friends/colleagues and/or people who are interested in the Tiffin Cherry Hill location were aware of this. One of the newer outposts for this restaurant and I must say that our experience was quite enjoyable. It's usually a good sign when the locals, especially natives of a cuisine, eat from a particular restaurant because it usually means it's decent. Upon walking in you immediately notice the smell of spices and the large spice containers on the wall. The dining room is simply decorated with wooden tables, chairs and basic decor on the walls. The menu is not that extensive which I find a bonus because that means there's usually less room for error with cooks having to remember how to make so many dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes opting to go wit medium heat since we weren't sure how intense it would be. We started with the vegetable samosas which had a decent bite to them, especially when dipped into the cilantro chutney. The tamarind was equally enjoyable with it's unique sourness and the mango chutney rounding it out with sweetness to balance all three. Lamb roganjosh, malai kofta, chicken tandoori and basic naan rounded our meal. The flavors were familiar enough, but I think the cook forgot to put any heat in the food which left me wanting a big heat kick that I'm used i with Indian cuisine. The kofta was a bit denser than I'm used to, but the Mrs. enjoyed the sauce which was tomato based and studded with cashews and butter/cream. i really enjoyed the flavors of the roganjosh although I really wanted a lot more heat to get the full experience. The tandoori was decent, but could have been a touch hotter (temp wise) and I was wishing the basmati had some more character in the form of spices. Overall, the meal was enjoyable and we'll probably be back but will definitely go with a higher spice intensity to hopefully quell my fiery desire for food sweats. read more

Ordered out a few times from here due to Covid, have not been disappointed by the results. They give you exactly what you expect from an Indian restaurant. We usually just order the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tika Masala. Good solid Indian restaurant, would recommend. read more

Our first visit here turned out to be exceptional. My wife and my son are vegetarians; the Mrs likes spicy and the boy (20) does not. The main courses arrived with appropriate heat; mine also was spicy as asked. Our garlic naan will keep our home vampire-free tonight and our iced masala tea was delicious served unsweetened as it was. I used to go here a lot a few years ago. I recently went back for lunch with a friend and did not enjoy it. I am no stranger to chicken korma and this one was bad. The chicken was the most rubbery chicken I have eaten and the curry was not what it should of been. I can't remember the last time I did not finish a curry at an Indian restaurant it was that off putting. The person I was with did not finish theirs either. This is some seriously good indian. I'm not sure how authentic some of the creative dishes were, but they definitely know their flavors. Server was very sweet, although didn't speak much english and messed up our order, he let us keep the wrong dishes in addition so we tried even more than we thought we would. And rolled our even fuller butts out of there after, with a lot of leftovers still. My friend had gotten a living social that gave us each an app, entree, naan, rice, and dessert for only $21 total. Insanely good deal considering $21 is more than just the entress would have been. I think they're a little overpriced if we didn't have this deal as it wasn't that high end of a place, but it was absolutely delcious. I was impressed with just about everything we got. We got this coconut cauliflower that came with delicious chutneys and tamarind sauce. Naan that had pistachios or cheese in it (never really seen this at an indian place, but they were delicious, and the pistachio one tasted like baklava). Also tried saag paneer, chicken korma, and butter chicken. All of which has very rich flavors. Saag paneer was thick and cheesy which it's not typically, but we enjoyed. The korma was good, but not out of this world. The butter chicken was definitely the winner with a lot of developed flavors and spices. If you do want it spicy though you have to tell them to kick it up a few notches. We got ours spicy and it was pretty tame. We had a Living Social deal and for $35 we each received an appetizer, entrée, dessert and naan. With only one exception, everything was outstanding. The naan was soft and delicious. For my appetizer, I got the cauliflower bazule, which was just fantastic....it was essentially roasted cauliflower in a thick coconut sauce. For his appetizer, hubby got the Indian Sloppy Joe, which he really enjoyed. It consisted of 2 sliders and was essentially like an American Sloppy Joe, only the spices in the meat were Indian. He loved it. For our entrees, hubby got the Malai Kofta and we both agreed it was delicious. The sauce was creamy and flavorful and the vegetable dumplings were tender and yummy. I ordered the saag paneer and this was the only item that was a disappointment. It was dry (not creamy) and too heavy on the spinach and not enough other ingredients. The paneer was almost non-existent. It basically tasted like a large pile of steamed spinach. I was disappointed because saag paneer is my go-to entrée whenever we go to Indian restaurants and this version was by far the least appetizing of any I've had. For dessert we both got the rice pudding, which was moderate in portion, but tasty. The restaurant itself is clean, simple and modern. Service was friendly and efficient and we loved the chill music they were playing. We went on a Saturday night around 7 p.m. and there were only 3 tables occupied, so we enjoyed the relaxing environment.
