Stepping into freindly welcoming Blue Fig Café The atmosphere is beautiful indoors and outdoor festive cafe style celebrates the flavors and beauty Mediterranean food and cultures of Greece Turkey Lebanon & Egypt. The creamiest smoothest hummus owith the toasted warmth of perfect pitas. The vibrance of parsley and paprika topped with olivew. Perfectly marinated and grilled Shish Tawook complimented by a mint lemondade cooler !! Oh this is a forever keeper. After taking a break as tI treated myself to the Turkish tea and flky layers of sweet walnut cinnamon baklava plated on a blue vibes ceramic dish. My artistic appetite is the duo of fork and paintbrush. Deliciousness!!

Tajen Kufta Plate. Good but could have used more flavor. The meat was kind of hard and dry

We ate here not too long ago and it was amazing. The service, the ambiance AND the food were all amazing BUT......... We came back with our 7 year old son. It was 4:15 pm. They brought out our appetizer and soup. Then a little while later they brought out mine and my fiancé's entrees. Then nothing...... they hid in the back on their phones. What a disgrace. They forgot to cook my 7 year old's food. After 20 more minutes and all of our food getting cold they brought out burnt chicken. No manager on site no and they never came back to ask how anything was. So disappointing, really. We will not be back and that's a shame since we really liked it here.

Menu that wasn't followed

I hate when restaurants just don't follow their own menu. I ordered 2 things shish kabob lunch and halo cheese fried. The steak was cooked really nicely and flavorful. But I don't think this plate is worth $16. Teaspoon of veggies 1 tablespoon of salad. No sauces unless you tell them I guess. As for the Haloum cheese. It says on the menu served with tomato basil and pita wedges. I got none of those things ????

Really Branzino but they call it Sea Bass

I usually don't leave reviews but Blue Fig is worth it. Just finished dinner. The food was amazing! So we started with halumi cheese and falafel appetizer. Lentil soup was delicious. Dinner was lamb chops and branzino. Wonderful. Blue Fig is really good and worth trying. I give it 4.5 stars. Check it out

This is the best middle Eastern food around. Everything is good. Recommend the special, the foul, and the barak. The best stuffed grape leaves around.

The Good: clean ambiance , nice traditional menu, delicious fresh juice and friendly service. The Food: meh... it was all tasty but it was all kind of bland and regular. It was nothing to write home about, no WOW factor. I have had plenty of Mediterranean food that was packed with flavor and this just missed the mark. The lamb chop was very good and the Haloum cheese was okay. The bad: The lentil soup was bland the sauces were also not flavorful. The kabobs and grilled veggies were also not great in flavor just grilled and smoky. All in all we appreciate that it was halal and we did enjoy the meal it just wasnt our favorite or exceptional.

Very little seasoning. Too expensive to be so bland. I got the mutabal, shrimp, hummus and chicken. All mediocre. Will not be returning

This place is under new management. Food quality, and service have gone way down hill. Sad... used to really like coming here.

Please don't strip me of my Yelp cred, lol…read more My son had been wanting to try Shawarma for a while. I found this spot, which very interestingly, is housed inside a LUK gas station! Thanks Yelp! Toward the middle-back of the convenience store, lies Pita's. Sweet staff in a clean looking kitchenette. So many menu options. I like how you can see the meats vertically cooking too. My lentil soup and steak quesadilla were both very good! The soup was aromatic, thick, and tasty! My quesadilla was a bit greasy, but a napkin blot took care of that one. The steak was so darn tender! My son's big brown eyes all but popped out of his head when he saw the beautiful falafel platter that I brought home for him! HE LOVED EVERYTHING!!! He loved every lick of it! Plus the (uncut) fluffy pita. Boy was in heaven! Figures I find this little hidden unexpected gem a week before I wont be working in this nearby area anymore!

This spot is a definite side mission to a gas station, but with the bite. The line for this place…read morecan be delayed since there is one worker but if you liked stuffed pitas, here it is. The pita is perfectly warmed and stuffed generously with your choice of fillings. It was a delicious, quick bite and, if you add sauce, can be messy. I highly recommend this for a quick lunch on the go. Just remember, this is still a gas station, so if you're looking for a place to sit down, you'll need to go somewhere else."

We had the cold sampler which was very tasty. I don't know everything I ate but I did enough most of them. The hummus was my favorite. I had the grilled sampler because I just couldn't decide on what to get and I was very happy with my decision. The salad was a nice fresh accompaniment to the meal. My favorite meat on the plate was the gyro - a mixture of beef and lamb that was seasoned so well I couldn't stop eating it. I would go back just for that alone. The rice was also surprising flavorful.

Classy, tasteful, delightful…read more On this little corner of Collingswood, in a sea of so many Italian and pizza places, this gorgeous renovated Turkish restaurant is a wonderful respite from Haddon Ave. For our Lunch Ladies group, we shared a wheel of cold appetizers, all slightly different from each other. I have no idea what it was called, but the one that was slightly spicy and had a similar flavor to a Mexican salsa was a surprise and a delight. I loooooooved the fluffy bread that was served to the table. Fresh, steaming hot, and the perfect utensil for testing out the dips. I'm not sure what it was called - it wasn't a pita, I don't think, since it was much lighter. But 10/10, no notes, give me 14 of them. I was craving beef, so I went for the shish kebab. Hands down, one of the most memorable I've had in a very long time. So tender. I loved the perfectly grilled vegetables. I absolutely loved adored the rice - so well seasoned, light and fluffy. Finally, baklava. I would say this was my only disappointment. The serving was miniscule. Service was lovely.
