It looks like the takeout salad bowl got smaller. Ordered one of the signature salads to go and found out when I got home they forgot the chicken. Staff was very young and friendly. The dining area is too big for the the few customers who actually eat in. Instead of shrinking the salad, how about shrinking the seating area that is mostly empty. read more

Not sure why the rating is so low here. Their salads are pretty good. I started coming here more with my daughter. There's rarely much of a line people are perfectly nice and it doesn't take long to get a decent salad made to order. If anything I feel slightly rushed as I decide what I want but that's my fault not theirs. I wish their prices were a little better but it's not completely unreasonable. Soo the food here is pretty standard. Not sure where 'America's best salad' comes from, since it is all very standard toppings, etc. The sandwiches are okay--minimal ingredients (especially protein). I'm pretty sure the salad I made into a wrap had like...1 ounce of chicken. Anyway. I also got a sandwich, and the bread was supposed to be foccacia, not sure what it was, but it was decent. Been here a couple of times only because it's relatively healthy and has more vegetable selection than your average fast food--but it is pretty pricey for what they offer and the quantity of food that you are given. Finally, the low rating is for employee education... my friend, who needs a strict gluten-free diet, asked if the salad items were GF... this employee had no clue and proceeded to hand her a list of GF dressings and soups saying these were the only GF items.... great, let me have this soup and a dressing for lunch. Ok... i was in the mood for a salad.... guess i wanted to go green this day. Salads can be good.... depends on how you dress it.., or how creative you can be and still make it some what healthy.. So the first thing i notice the greens didn't look to healthy, a little on the "hey lets make it past this shift so we can be thrown out" look to it. The people behind the counter looked like they are about to enter their freshman yr in high school... i agree with the previous reviewer on this. The stations were messy , alot of mixing of different ingredients.. ranch mixed(i think it was ranch) with i think looked like thousand... chick peas, were just rollin around... lol, looked like a chinese fire drill. Don't know who was instructing who, all i hearing was they want to get out and go to the carnival at the mall....and some were just hanging around just doing nothing. I ordered the nocoise salad for 9.49 the tuna tasted rancid and I didnt receive my wheat roll I ordered and paid for. The lobster bisque soup i got was luke warm and the employees seemed unprofessional... I wont come back i could have had a nice dinner at a real restaurant for the $17 i paid for a horrible salad that didnt fill me up...never again will. I go back there! read more

Great experience. This is the best experience I have had at a Saladworks. Upon entry, I perused the soups for food allergies. I was immediately greeted and the employee went straight to the book for ingredients so I could avoid any food allergens. I was able to find a soup with was free of of gluten, dairy, soy, et al. I then ordered a salad and had multiple options that were safe for me to eat. Instead of a roll, I was able to choose Cape Cod Chips. Great experience! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. read more

I ordered delivery from this saladworks last week thru an app and they got one of my salads totally wrong. Not even the same salad selection. When I called the "manager" said there is nothing he could do about it. They technically do not deliver since it was thru an app I would have to put in a whole new order and pay for it. He said OR he could put in a note or something for a refund but it would take a week or so and he wasn't very customer friendly about any of it. The rest of the food we got was bad. They claimed they were busy and they have "too many orders coming in to be perfect everytime." Poor excuse for a business motto. read more

I'm not a country music fan but honestly even if it were a genre I preferred, the volume is way too excessive. I've seen the girls making the salads singing along! Honestly, you're better off getting a salad up the street at Chick-fila. I have worked in the area for 3 years now and would go to this location on my lunch break. When I first started coming to this location, it was clean, friendly, and fresh. Now, I find myself walking in, seeing pink lettuce, old dried out chicken, and brown EGG WHITES, then walking right back out. The saddest part, other people walk out too! This place has turned into a dump and do not use fresh foods. It is completely unsanitary and I am shocked they are able to sell food like that. I wish I didn't have to give a star. I'm reading all the reviews for this location and they all seem to align with my horrible experience yet nothing is being done about it! I placed an online order for a staff lunch (delivery) and when we received it, it was all wrong. I called to report it and the woman who took our order (Rachel) said we didn't say no onions or no tomatoes or no peppers, etc. Please do not argue with a paying customer. Isn't that customer service101? Then I was told that it's too expensive to remake our order and to bring in the food for a full refund. I get there and the "manager" Emily asks to see my food, I hand it to her. Then she puts it on a back counter and tells me that she is not going to refund me. So not only do we not have lunch for that day but I'm also out $50 of my own money! This was the worst experience at any business I have ever been to. I contacted the BBB and they are looking into this along with Saladworks Corporate offices. Also, I commented on their Facebook page and they deleted my comment and blocked me. I'm done with Saladworks. Especially after visiting this location. The guy who made my salad clearly did not want to be there, and was annoyed he had to wait on me. Probably because I interrupted his texting. He was too lazy to get more cheese so he scrapped whatever was left out, which wasn't much. When I went back to get butter, he was back to sitting down and texting along with another girl. Meanwhile a bunch of tables had trash and food on the floor. As I was waiting in this lo g line i was watching the staff and 2 of them did not have gloves on and kept touching their hair and then the food. I used to come to this saladworks ALL the time. Up until just recently, because i have honestly never had such bad experiences there. 2 weeks ago I order food online while I am at work, and I'm about to leave for my lunch break (which is 40 mins).. I pay for it with my credit card, and I get ready to leave to go pick it up. I never have had any issue doing this times before. I go to the store to pick it up and when I get there, the extremely rude girl tells me that my food isn't there. I asked her why and she continued to tell me their computer system is down and when the system is down the food AUTOMATICALLY gets sent to another store. That is honestly baffling to me. I continue to look in my email (which, who would think to look at an email confirmation for a damn salad?!?!?!) and there you see, in the top right corner in small writing that my food was sent to Clementon. So, after I spent 15 minutes driving to saladworks and another 5 minutes trying to figure out where my salad went to, I now only have 20 minutes left on my lunch break. I call Clementon and continue to tell them I can't come pick it up at their store because their location is over 20 minutes away from Deptford and I am on my lunch break. Well once again another rude employee who is literally giving me a hard time about giving me a refund telling me he already made my salad and huffing and puffing. Thats ridiculous, I never asked for my salad to get sent to another store. And now I have to drive 15 minutes back to work with no lunch. It has now been almost a full 2 weeks, and Victor (manager at Clementon) took my credit card number, security number and expiration date and I have yet to receive a refund. So, where did he put my credit card information? and why have I not received a refund yet? Crazy because I order from saladworks at least 2 times a week and I never want to walk into the Deptford store ever again. Collingswood has better service then Deptford ever has! read more

I absolutely loved going to this Saladworks maybe like once a week but after my last visit we will not be back for a long time. So I ordered two half salads like I usually do and the young girl who was waiting on me seemed like she was fairly new and very nice. But I guess she put too much salad and pasta in my bowl for the managers liking. So another employee heard the manager and she comes up with her hand and removes some of the salad and throws the access in the trash! Two things wrong here don't ever put your hands in a customers salad use a scoop! Second to the manager why would you just not say to your employee that salad was a little large make sure the next one you use is this amount. I can not get over what I experienced and I can not believe the manager who is there on a daily basis let her do this. It's disgusting! It makes you think if he let her put her hands in my salad what goes on behind the scenes. Also to the manager since I'm writing this review you might want to change your customer service skills as well I have never been greeted with a hello from you or have a good day. 4 days. It has been 4 days since the fiasco that was our online lunch order. Tuesday 11-28 online lunch order 71.00. Went to location to pick up. 87.00 charged my card. Wrong order. Charged my card back. Then charged for the correct order. (Which we had to go back because the order was wrong again) 4 days later I am still awaiting my credit. This is not 10.00 this is 87.00 no help from store. Called 3 times. Left 3 messages for management to call me back. Finally called corporate 2 times, 3 now including today. I received a voice mail from someone named Jim from the store yesterday. I do not want to speak to the store at this point. I want corporate. Jim's first sentence of " I received an email from corporate.... " he only called because I went to corporate. My bank account is in limbo and overdrawn because of this, I have filed a transaction dispute and will not be happy until I get answers and an apology from corporate.
