Got a grille chick bacon rancher w/some kettle cooked chips., smallest bag a chips ever. The sandwich was big, great bread but hardly any chicken and the bacon was not sliced it was bacon crumbs A little ranch sauce but nothing had much of a taste at all. I was really disappointed. A homeless guy offered me fent in the bathroom. The staff also called me a "pussy" for drinking lemonade and said I should drink beer like a real man. Also my food was cold and it fell on the floor. I wish I had looked at the health code score before going tonight to eat there. I did not enjoy my sandwich at all. It as a hot sandwich which came out as lukewarm. I didn't eat it all and for the price of the sandwich that's a crime in itself. I was grossed out with the fact that the guy handling the food had long hair without it being up. I was worried I would find his hair in my food. There was another girl working with the food without a hat. There was a guy that complained the whole time I was there. I've been coming to this Panera for a few years now (get my morning coffee on the way to work). The food is OK (what my kids call glorified hospital cafeteria food). What troubles me is the customer service (or lack there of). I get it - working in the food industry is rough (I know - I did it for many years). Starting with what I believe to be the general manager. She is rarely friendly to her customers or employees. She barks out orders from the food prep area and I have NEVER seen her engage a customer in a positive way. One time I thought I heard her yell my name as I thought my order was ready. As I arrived at the counter to pick up my food It turns out I was incorrect and then was verbally chastised for inquiring if my name was called. She was so rude that the people that I was speaking to on my phone (and had asked to hold on for a minute while I picked up my food) made a comment about her rudeness. Sadly this poor attitude toward the customer has infected some of the other employees. The woman at the main counter seems absolutely miserable at her job. She rarely makes any eye contact, says hello and/or says "thank you" or "have a good day". I feel for the person as you can tell she does not like interacting with the customer. Question; why place in her in that role? It's a reflection on the poor leadership. She is representing your brand, your establishment's brand...to each and every customer that has a less than ideal customer experience. She is the first and last thing the customer experiences as they exit the door. Is that poor experience the desired outcome? Take a lesson from places like Chick-fil-A, they are a fast food restaurant but employ kind customer service/focused individuals. It's all about who you hire and what you allow. It's difficult to teach nice. The moral of the story - the food is OK but don't expect your friendly neighborhood atmosphere here. Not until the leadership is changed. I doubt this review will matter. I would be shocked if store or district leadership is paying much attention to the voice of the customer - if they were (or cared) they would have already seen and addressed these issues themself. read more

Terrible customer service from the manager to the employees. It was awful! It took 15 minutes to answer the drive through. I thought the speaker was broken so I drove around to the window. Service went from bad to worse. They didn't want to take my order. They put my order at the back of all the drive through cars. I ordered a You Pick 2 at 7:36pm on a Monday night. 1/2 of a Bacon Avocado Melt and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. They were out of two types of the bread choices and the cheese that comes on it. I received my food and they forgot the avocado on my bacon "Avocado" melt. I go back up and ask if my sandwich is supposed to have avocado? A worker then puts a piece of avocado in a cup and slides it across the counter and doesn't say a word. Was at your store in Delaware Ohio on the 7th of September, 2024 and all I wanted was a plain Bagel and the store only had 2 different types of bagels and neither one was plain. I thought this was one of the main things that you carried for Breakfast was Bagels. I ask the guy taking my order if they had any in the back and he said no that all they had was Cinnamon Crunch and Blueberry. My first time out of the house after a major surgery. I have been at home for roughly the past month, on a strict no to low fat diet. Naturally, I'm craving Panera. My wife and I went to our local store. Walking in we could see the huge boards with food and calorie numbers, but no fat or other nutrition facts. I asked the girl behind the counter if there was any other information. She addressed a website that I could try on my phone. Of course, my wife like a whip is on it. Only to find that the info is also just calories. A manager doing paperwork notes there should be more info there, but alas no. I mention my predicament no/ low fats, she totally relates. Having been in a similar situation. She goes behind the counter and comes back with a huge book. All the info of every meal in the place. She then goes over what I can and can not eat. Hi, I love Panera Bread They have to best food around. It has always been one of my favorite spots to eat. I've ordered from this Panern Bread several times. It's nice that it's close by, which makes it great. But, there is a problem with this location, not the food, but the workers getting the orders wrong. They have never gotten my orders right. Yes, Panera is good however is it ridiculously expensive and the employee's are very rude and disrespectful. The first time I came here I came 30 minutes before closing just to get a bagel when I walked inside the employee at the register said " I assume you're not here for the charity" in a very snarky rude tone. I've given this panera location plenty of chances but after the last trip I had through their drive-thru, I'm done. I like Panera just fine and this review is for the Delaware location only. I'm not sure how Panera trains their drive-thru employees but they clearly don't do a good job of it. More often than not my drink is wrong (regular rather than diet coke). On this day I ordered a pick-2 with a cuban sandwich and green goddess cobb salad. They forgot the avocado on the salad. My sandwich looked like it was thrown together by a 2 year old and it was on a very overwhelming, burned piece of french bread instead of the ciabatta that it's supposed to have. There are enough other good lunch spots around, don't waste your time here. read more

Thiefs, Rude, Incompetent people working here. No one at this location is on the same page. Delivery orders get left on the dirty ground without even knocking on the door and orders are ALWAYS made wrong. You get charged for things you don't receive. The manager on duty tells you to come on in and they'll take care of you. When you do, they refuse to take care of you and instead charge you again. The owner is a piece of work. NEVER AROUND and DOESN'T CARE. Probably too busy spending time at his mansion. Even his employees know he doesn't care. read more

I was told the soup was put away and they could not serve me. I'm a reasonable person and accidents happen. This was truly unlucky and disappointing. What gets me is When the associate goes to get the manager for me he comes back and says my manager said "come back tomorrow and ask whatever manager is here to give you a soup and tell them Kyle said it's ok." UPDATE! Went through the drive through. Ordered an iced pumpkin latte with skim milk and a coffe with cream and sugar. First, they gave us a hot pumpkin latte. So we said "this was supposed to be iced with skim milk". So the kid turned around and said it was supposed to be iced, and we again said "with skim milk". So they put the hot one aside and gave us an iced latte. We asked if it was skim and he asked the chick that made it and she said no. So they made it AGAIN, and it was finally right. He said have a good day, and my husband said we still need my coffee. The kid said "I didn't give it to you?" So he handed it to my husband and we drive away. I said "I bet that's the hot latte they made for me". It was. Absolutely ridiculous. Ordered online for rapid pickup. Was there on time, but was not what we ordered. As a side for a you pick 2, we ordered a watermelon cup but got a mixed fruit cup. Part of our pick 2 was a BBQ chicken flatbread and it came on wheat bread instead of a flatbread. I understand that later in the day they may have run out of certain menu items, but they shouldn't just substitute for whatever they think is best.
