    Grilled Chicken & Avo BLT
    Arielle H.

Decided to work remote from Panera and it did not disappoint. The flavors of the avocado BLT sandwich were delicious. However, I wish that the person taking my order would've let me know that I could switch the bread. The person that I worked with switch their bread after I had already ordered. I definitely would've chosen a different type of bread. The salad was delicious as was the brownie. You can tell when brownies are homemade and that brownie taste like it was baked fresh that morning. I also love the ambience of this Panera bread. They have a fireplace and a variety of booths. My only complaint would be the bathroom. It could be cleaner.

Picking up some last minute things for my flight tonight and I noticed Panera was nearby. I honestly have not been to Panera many times. Not sure why as each time I have gone the food has been delicious. Popped in around 1 pm and it was not to busy(Yeah me!). Panera is always a nice place to eat and relax because the environment is so chill. They have lots of seating and even a two-sided fireplace to sit by. The staff is always pleasant and friendly and helpful with ordering. I ordered a Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli Bowl with a side of chips(yes carbs and all!) As usual Panera did not disappoint! The bowl was delicious and flavorful with chicken, broccoli and rice in a slightly sweet Teriyaki base. The chips on the side added a little something something to it. Will definitely be heading back to Panera to Panera again!

I made the mistake of coming here just before it closed and more than likely re stock day because they were out of every soup except French onion, the bread bowls, most sandwiches and the rolls. I should've followed my heart to Chick-fil-A but I decided to stay. What was good: the strawberry lemonade with mint. Packed full of flavor, and a hint of mint this tasted great. I grew up in New York where French onion soups and are one of the staples of soup. Granted I haven't had one since I was a kid but I don't think the recipes changed much. So you'll understand my dismay when I was served with soup that wasn't warm, and soup sans cheese. Disappointing to say the least. The Caesar salad was good, I had asked for it to be served with chicken but what I received tasted a lot like turkey. The salad itself was drowned in dressing, and in this case, maybe less is more. The tuna sandwich was probably the worst, I made it only a few bites in before tossing it along with the Mac and cheese. As I said earlier I came in roughly 30 minutes before close so that was definitely a mistake. Additionally as with any restaurant closing, the staff was mopping the floor so when they mopped next to me I had the small of chemicals while I was trying to eat and this definitely had an effect on my appetite. I've enjoyed Panera in the past so hopefully in the future I won't make the same mistakes I made here but more than likely I wouldnt return to this location.

The formula for Panera is simple, feed clean and fresh and delicious food for a somewhat reasonable price. The location is hidden in a reinvigorated strip mall. I'm happy to see that no trees had to die for this location. If Panera is trying to save the planet and be kind to the environment this location lives up to their mission statement. Inside everything is new and squeaky clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I came in after the lunch rush, walked in and out in about 10 minutes. Ordered a green goddess cob salad, it was good could of had a little more meat. Next time I'll ask for extra dressing.

With over 20 years of food service experience. I always critique a business first on the greeting as you walk in. Also, the service interaction.... Hands down James has offered the best service I have seen in months at any food service based business. Thank you for keeping the standards high James! Keep up the good work

Clinton Folks we got another got option. Customer service…read more10 Food 8 Facilities 9 So I just so happened to stumble across this establishment through a google search. Yo girl been trying to eat a little healthier and was looking for some baked or grill fish. This restaurant did deliver. The grill tilapia and broccoli was pretty good. The portion size was on point. My son wanted their crab cake burger which I had to taste and it was delicious. They offer mumbo sauce with their fries and it is banging. Got a nice little kick to it. The corn on the cob is so so. Its not bad but I just had better. Its too greasy for corn on the cob too. So confused about that. Any who, I spent $40 for everything which was reasonable for 2 meals. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. The cashiers here are super friendly which is always appreciated because its seems like people are losing basic manners. So thanks ladies for your kindness it didnt go unnoticed. Would I recommend this restaurant, yeah I would. Its not spectacular but its pretty good and you get enough food for the price. That itself is worth it. So go and visit so we can keep restaurants like this open in our community.

4.5 stars. I cannot…read moreoverstate how friendly the staff here is. Very welcoming, very patient, very kind. Set a really great tone for my visit. There are surprising number of chicken options here for a place called, "This Is Seafood", but not quite as many seafood options as I hoped. I was really looking forward to getting an order of fried scallops for lunch and I was a little disappointed they didn't have them on the menu. I decided to get the Combo #4: 3 whole wings, 6 fried shrimp, and my choice of 1 piece of fish and side dish. For my fish, I chose fried catfish and for my side I chose hush puppies. The combo also came with a fountain drink. I decided to mix their house-made lemonade and house-made iced tea and it made the perfect half-and-half. The wait wasn't too bad, as the food was being freshly made. It was piping hot and crispy when I received it. Those shrimp were huge! Some of the biggest fried shrimp I've ever had...And not those butterfly shrimp either. Whole shrimp, and the tail was removed so I didn't have to worry about accidentally crunching on one of the shells. The catfish was delectable! Perfectly seasoned, delightfully crispy, and absolutely melted in my mouth. So good. I'm coming back for the catfish if nothing else. The wings were perfectly fried, nice and crispy, but they were a bit too light on the seasoning for my taste. And the mumbo sauce tasted too similar to barbecue sauce. I did not like that, so I ended up saving the rest of the wings until I got home to put my own mumbo sauce on them. The hush puppies were also really good. I like that they were fried perfectly and weren't greasy... Even after reheating them. Overall, my lunch cost me about $25 and it was enough food for at least two meals. Can't beat that. I'll be back for that catfish.

Great food and the sides to match!…read more LOVE this place! The rotisserie chicken, unlike anywhere else, is crispy, juicy, seasoned to the bone.....and soooo good. The spice and flavor is not just on the skin, like some Peruvian spots around but in the meat as well. You have to try yucca fries! It's a great add-on side to your meal. The Plantains are really good too. The menu is expansive with lots of options....where your meal never gets dull. My go-to's by far are the Grilled Lamb, Carne Asada Steak, Lomo Saltado and of, course....the Chicken! It's what they are know for. Not to mention, they offer a well-rounded selection of vegetables and sides to complement your meal. Too many to name here but trust me, if you're looking to keep your meals and "fast food" healthy....this is your place! The dessert is also really good. The thin sliced cookies has the texture of Mexican wedding cake (some Wholefoods carry them....but can't compare....they are all TOO sweet. Sardis' is perfecta and authentic. The Rice pudding with cinnamon deserves an honorable mention and worth a try as well. In all, you can't go wrong with the food and healthy options at the place. The food is great, fresh and the grilled/specialty menu items are always made to order. Wish they had a Sardis in the NW DC area. I definitely would have this place on reapers! Definitely give this place two-thumbs up and recommend!

Famous Chef Thomas Reviews: Sardi's Pollo a la Brasa (Clinton, Maryland)…read more The Verdict If a restaurant wishes to test its understanding of hospitality, it is not found in the complexity of its menu, but in the grace with which it handles a simple request. At Sardi's in Clinton, the answer, in this case, is clear, and it is not favorable. The Examination A. Foundation : The Establishment Sardi's has long positioned itself as a dependable destination for rotisserie chicken and Peruvian-inspired comfort. For years, The Famous Chef Thomas was not merely a customer, but a consistent patron, returning regularly, investing both time and money into the establishment. The food, while not revolutionary, delivered consistency. The relationship, however, was the true asset. And that is precisely what was mishandled. B. Structure : The Request The request was simple: A standard side of mixed vegetables, unchanged in portion, slightly adjusted in composition. A modest increase in corn within a dish that already contains corn. No additional cost burden. No operational disruption. No deviation from the existing ingredients. This is not culinary innovation. This is basic accommodation. Yet, the request was denied. Not once, but twice. C. Discipline or Failure : The Breakdown A single denial may be dismissed as an oversight. A second confirms policy over judgment. Escalation to management should represent recovery, an opportunity to restore the customer relationship. Instead, it compounded the failure. The response, lacking flexibility and refinement, revealed something deeper than a one-off interaction. It exposed a systemic issue: a disregard for customer value and an unwillingness to exercise discretion in service. When a loyal patron, one contributing thousands of dollars annually; cannot receive a minor, reasonable accommodation, the issue is no longer operational. It is cultural. Hospitality Assessment First Impression: Previously reliable, now overshadowed by rigidity Hospitality: Inflexible, dismissive under simple pressure Execution of Food: Consistent but ultimately secondary Authenticity / Identity: Undermined by lack of service awareness Value Alignment: Broken, price is no longer justified without respect Final Judgment The Famous Chef Thomas does not measure a restaurant solely by its food, but by its understanding of the guest. At Sardi's in Clinton, a small request revealed a large truth. A year has passed since that final interaction. No return visits. No further patronage. Thousands in lost revenue, exchanged for a refusal that should never have occurred. The Famous Chef Thomas does not recommend this establishment.

I just tasted it and it was good-8.5/10 taste wise. Seafood pizza was a little bland. I added some salt and red pepper flakes and it made a huge difference. 7/10. The pan crust was yummy though. The free bread they give you is good-it has cheese on top and I asked for another plate with no issue. Meal: Stuffed flounder-my sun loved it-he said 9/10 I asked why not 10 and he said bc it wasn't the best thing he's ever had but he definitely took one bite and said mmm this is good! I didn't care for it that much but I don't like flounder and not a fan of the sauce. 7/10 for me Shrimp Marinara with spaghetti noodles-it was really good. I was actually pretty full by this point but I give it 9/10. There's plenty of sauce so you don't have to worry about dry noodles. There was a fair amount of shrimp as well. Very garlicky so if you don't like garlic you won't like this. The setting is alright. I'll take a pic. Wooden tables and booths. There were a few annoying flies that kept buzzing around. Our server was amazing and paid attention to our empty glasses, removed plates timely, gave refills and was solid overall.

I went to Mix and Mingle: Coffee and Lounge on a Friday night for my cousin's birthday, and overall…read morethe vibe was really nice. First Fridays are clearly a big deal there because the place was packed, the Gogo band was good, and the atmosphere was fun. I ended up sitting at the bar instead of getting a table and ordered a drink for myself, a drink for my cousin, and some shrimp. The food and drinks were actually good, so I can definitely see why people like coming here. What frustrated me was the pricing and gratuity situation. After looking at the menu, I saw it mentioned a 20% gratuity for parties of four or more, so I didn't think that applied to me since I was sitting at the bar with no table. I even asked the waitress if I could order food at the bar and she said yes, but nobody explained there would still be an automatic gratuity added. The drinks were $12 each and the bang bang shrimp were $13, so I was confused when my total came out to almost $50 and not realizing I added additional to the tip. I had to ask for the receipt multiple times before I finally saw the gratuity charge unbeknownst to me. I think the restaurant/menu needs to be a lot more upfront and clear about when gratuity is automatically added... and that's whether it's for First Fridays, live bands, bar service, or anything else. Being surprised by service fees, automatic gratuity or any hidden fee not clearly mentioned, for me, can leave a bad impression even when the food and atmosphere are good. As a small business, there are already stereotypes and complaints people make about hidden fees and pricing, and situations like this unfortunately don't help that narrative. With that said, I still plan to come back because I genuinely enjoyed the music, food, and overall vibe. I just wish the pricing and gratuity policies were communicated more clearly from the beginning... especially in this economy!
