Very disappointing. We used to go to the Panera in West Chester all the time and we were in the Symmes Township area and decided to have lunch. The "manager" taking orders rushed us through (they were not busy since it was after 2pm); he was short and rude. Very poor first impression. The sandwiches were sloppily put together and the potato soup, usually very thick, was watered down. To top off our "great" experience" one of the workers came over near where we were sitting and wiped off four tables WITH HIS BARE HAND!! onto the floor. Never again! read more

I don't know why I keep trying to give this Panera a try over and over. They are THE WORST Panera I've ever been to in the country. I live close by and love the idea of swinging in and grabbing a rapid pick up order, but it is never right. It's never done on time. There's been a few cases where I've cut my losses and left after paying for an expresso drink for 20 minutes, and have left empty handed. You're lucky to get anything besides decaf coffee during morning rush. They somehow find a way to screw up oatmeal. Oatmeal!! I'm not one to leave scathing reviews, but I've absolutely had it with this place after all of the $ I've spent here over the past couple of years. I don't know who's running the place, but they need to take note. The other reviews about the constant filth, poor customer service, and overall disarray of this location are spot on. Do yourself a favor - go to a different Panera. This location continues to get worse and worse. Horribly slow, constantly out of items, and half the time I get home to discover order isn't correct. Tonight, cashier KaMyai was grumpy and didn't want to mess with my rewards card. I asked 3 times and she continued to lie to me, saying my order went on my rewards card. Filthy Panera. Workers were dirty and disheveled with filthy shirts hanging out and wiping their noses. Ruined my appetite. Two workers in parking lot arguing with someone in a car - looked like an episode of cops ready to go down. Floor and tables dirty. Out of soups. The soup we did get for $4.99 was a bowl of broth with nothing else. Cashier handled tops of cups with hands. Will not be back. Board of health would fail this place. read more

Ordered Rapid Pick Up online and asked for simple things like, no red onions, add avocado, etc. my order was completely wrong when my husband brought it home. Not only is the worst Panera I have ever been to, it's the worst restaurant. Period. Slow service, "no bread" (at 7:45PM), tea and lemonade containers empty and full of fruit flies, floors black with dirt and filth, trash on EVERY single table and on the floor, all trash cans over flowing, my French onion soup had chickpeas and ground beef on the bottom, there were dirty gloves laying on the floor, the bathrooms were worse than any gas station I've ever been to - fruit flies covering the toilet seat and all over the floor. HORRIBLE!!! Sick to my stomach thinking about the filth and I cannot believe I ate food here. I immediately contacted Panera customer service (with photo documentation). My complaint was immediately sent to the owner (this is a franchise) and here I am 6 days later, and I have heard no response. We have carried out from here several times and the last five times they have forgotten something in the order. I have luckily gotten in the habit of double checking every time but when I bring it to the attention of staff they simply say oh and give me the item, no apology. Additionally, the quality of food has gone down hill significantly in the last two years. My autumn squash soup was the consistency of mashed potatoes and had obviously been reheated and despite my "rapid" pickup order being ten minutes later than the online ordering told me, the Mac and cheese (that was not put in the bag and when I asked for it was sitting on the prep counter) and soup were barely warm. I stopped in during peak lunchtime and there was one associate running a register (he was great by the way) but even as the lines got longer they kept one register running. I placed my order and while waiting for my food noticed there were open container drinks in the food prep area. I work in the food industry and know this is not acceptable. The associate even asked for it to be handed to her and didn't try to hide it at all. When looking for a place to sit, there was a person... either a homeless person with an iPhone and a MacBook or an associates teenager sleeping in a large booth. There were only 2 seat tables available at this point. There was no proof this person had purchased anything just had their whole set up with a pillow and all. This is a busy location and we let someone use it as a hotel? I understand working with associates but this wasn't acceptable. When trying to throw my trash out the kid had his feet hanging out all the way across the aisle by the checkout. When I mentioned it to an associate they acted like it was no big deal....as she went to tell the kid to put his feet back in the booth. Because of the unsafe food prep conditions or the motel-like settings, I will not return to this location. read more

Really badly managed. My son and I came here and he wanted a bread bowl with soup. They couldn't find the thing that hollows out the bread bowl, so the manager tried to do it by hand. Well, he cut himself. Not badly but enough that he had to stop. They told me they'd bring out another one, which they never did. I had to go back up to the counter to get it and when I did, it was stale. Meanwhile, the manager dude was sitting at a booth doing paperwork so clearly, he didn't care that we were kept waiting. This is the absolute worst Panera I've ever been to. They are always out of everything. The staff is rude. We've gotten to go orders and we bring them home and they are ALWAYS wrong. Tried eating here and they were out of napkins, cream cheese, turkey, butter, Parmesan cheese. Gave me Caesar dressing on a Greek salad .. I'm pregnant and can't eat Caesar dressing. I like Panera a lot -- just not this one. For whatever reason, the food is always less delicious and served in smaller portions than other Paneras. As other reviews mentioned, the portion sizes are abysmal. I'm a 130 pound woman and a regular "you pick two" lunch here does not fill me up. I've been going to Panera Bread for over five years spending a lot of money I know I'm not the only person who's been doing this and is always been in love with their wonderful service but this Panera is the worst Panera ever attended this is not the first time something crazy has happened my food is never correct you always get no soup when they say they're giving you a cuppa soup it only has juice in it the sandwiches are never made correct the lettuce in everything is always everywhere like the sauce has been splattered on top of the bread instead of being in between the bread it's like no one cares in this Panera Bread and it's really terrible I went on my lunch break to try to get some food and ended up not being Able to eat because I had to return the entire meal not only did I not get a refund right then and there I was told I would have to wait to get my money back that was the money I was using for lunch meaning I can't eat lunch now because Panera bread will not do right and this is the worst Panera bread in the city it needs to be close down or either it needs new employees worst experience ever I am a customer service agent at Apple and this is not acceptable for any service or any company Panera bread usually provide Amazing service this is just not one of those times I would really love to speak to somebody or maybe a owner of this Panera bread if I could leave zero stars I would read more

I'm not a review writer but my experience with this Panera the last few times I've been there made me want to warn others against this place. The first time I was there, roughly two months ago, I noticed some things other reviews indicated such as the slow service, soup that was barely warm, and specifically the young woman working the cash register not getting our order correct. I have worked in the service industry before and chalked it all up to it being a little later in the day (rightly two hours before closing) and that they were possibly short staffed. Stuff like that happens, completely understandable. What happened during the lunch hour today was absolutely not understandable. The restaurant was busy, it was about noon, but the person working on the cash register was taking roughly 5-6 minutes per person she was helping, looking like she was absolutely lost while a woman (who worked there) was behind her on a cell phone yelling about a mobile order extremely rudely and complaining about being short staffed to whomever she was speaking with. I was in line for about 15 minutes before I heard some of the other patrons talking about how long they had been waiting- most had been waiting upwards of 30 minutes for their food and the gentleman behind the food prep area was telling people it would be another 30. For pre-made food. What really convinced me to write this review was what I saw next. A woman, assumingely the manager based on how she was dressed (polo instead of t-shirt, no baseball cap, etc), made a mango smoothie without cleaning out the OBVIOUSLY dirty blender from whatever drink was made before I got there. Whatever was in that blender was there for AT LEAST 15 minutes before she put another drink in there. She didn't take the 20 seconds to clean out the blender before making another drink in front of a line of people. If this is how dirty the restaurant is where patrons can see it, I don't even want to imagine how filthy it has to be where we can't. I will never be back to this location. read more

Food the same as all Paneras. Had the Thai chicken wonton soup. Trying to eat a little healthier. SO salty, 1320 mg sodium. Coffee station often out of one thing or another. I come here regularly for convenience though. Service is pretty quick even on a Sunday. read more

One star is too many for this, the consistently worst managed restaurant in Greater Cincinnati. Other Panera's perform well, but Kenwood is always slow, always dirty, and the orders are wrong more times than is acceptable. I can't imagine why people would complain about this Panera. I work nearby and I come here almost every day. The employees are ALWAYS so sweet, caring and genuine. They are always ready to help and be of service to anyone who walks through the door. Two employees in particular always greet me with a smile and a caring attitude. Kenny is one and the other gentleman, I do not remember his name. He is older and I always see him wiping down tables. They, along with the rest of the staff, are GREAT! I love this Panera. I recently moved jobs and am able to come to this location more often. Each time I come in here, it is extremely packed, but the line moves fast and spots open up. There are several of the employees walking around collecting dishes and asking if everything taste ok. I feel extremely welcomed when I come into this location. There is a worker here that I have seen each time I have visited. I don't remember her name (Becca? Bethany?) But she is warm and welcoming and a breath of fresh air compared to other food chains. read more

Ate lunch here with my dad this afternoon around 12:30p. It was very busy but they were very efficient and food was great. There was a gentleman who worked there who was constantly refilling coffee, cleaning tables, etc.. He worked very hard. You could tell he cared about doing his job and doing it well. I go to Panera a lot in other locations and I've not been in a cleaner location He did a wonderful job. He was so curteous. My dad started to head over to throw his coffee away and it was like he read his mind. My dad was going to go ask for a couple boxes and the gentleman took the initiative to ask if he could help him. He went and got a cup for soup and a box for salad and brought it back to us. So very kind. If we lived closer, I would go to this Panera every time. Nowadays, I don't always see or experience good customer service or people that really care about doing a good job, so I had to acknowledge it.
