Took 28 minutes to get a half sandwich and soup and it wasnt even busy. Don't waste your time, seriously.

I like Panera, but this one isn't worth your time. Service is always pretty awful. I recommend going to the one on Reed Hartman.

The food was GREAT, we started with the garlic cheese bread it was excellent crisp and uber cheesy. I had the eggplant rolatini it was delicious right blend of ingredients garlicky, cheesy and covered with marinara. There was spaghetti and meatballs by another of our diners which he raved about. Tony's special was enjoyed by another diner. Not one negative was mentioned at the table. The ambiance or lack there of was not a real concern, the pictures and posters were interesting enough. If they could put the lights on dimmers it would certainly help. Food and service were excellent and the atmosphere, strip mall Italian modern hahaha. I definitely recommend and we will return... We wanted to come here because it's very close to our friend who joined us. We have been to Giovanni's many times and always enjoy it. They have stopped lunch service, which is a bummer because Giovanni's is much closer to us than Tony's. Oh... I don't know the family tree, but Giovanni's and Tony's are definitely related. Their menus are identical... well, almost. My favorite meal at Giovanni's is Giovanni's Special. At Tony's the same dish is known as Tony's Special. Anyway... I found the garlic knots more delicious at Tony's. The bread was tender and they had enough garlic butter on them it was easy to see. This same side at Giovanni's was always a 'throwaway', but at Tony's it was a star. I had to order the special, but I forgot to ask for penne rather than spaghetti. I wish the server has asked. When the meal arrived at the table I was a little disappointed, but even with spaghetti it was delicious. I don't know how they turn a tomato/eggplant mixture into an amazing sauce, but they do. Mark had the same thing and our friend had Fettuccine Carbonara and really enjoyed it. As always, there was enough for both lunch and take-home dinner. I hope Tony's stays around and that they continue with lunch hours. Even though it's a long drive, we always prefer going out for lunch over dinner and we'd be willing to make the drive.

Then I thought okay it's mid week, lunch time, so I came in. I was limited on time, came in and ordered a pizza and a beer. Told the server she could serve it in the to go box since I had to go sooner than I would have liked. Service was friendly, prompt and she still checked on me after I had paid. Although the place was not busy, there was a large table with a baby and 2 pre schoolers. They were all well behaved, but still I'm always surprised that breweries are now for kids. I really liked the decor!

My husband was saying how much better it will be when we come back in the summer with the huge patio and all the garage doors open. I agreed, but I also think part of the reason we loved it so much was that even though it was a cold, gray February day, inside Parks and Rec had so much greenery and lots of windows so it felt summery inside! Our server was super friendly and went over the menu with us, telling us which items were most popular and which were his favorites. I got the peanut butter porter which was really good and hubby liked his s'mores stout as well. We split one of their huge pretzels which came with whole grain mustard and beer cheese...delish!! Then I got a 1/2 apple and pecan salad, which was more pecans, apples and dried cranberries than salad (and I mean that in the best way!) My husband let me try one of his chicken wings which had a nice spice to it. We were very pleasantly surprised at how great our whole experience was because the reviews were pretty mixed but honestly, it was a great visit from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Once you know what you're getting you go to the counter to order. I opted for the hummus appetizer with soft warm pita bread. The hummus was delicious. For my main dish I got the build your feast with the salmon, Mediterranean salad and red potatoes. It was so delicious. The salmon was grilled and had a char that I loved. The salad was bright and colorful with a vinaigrette dressing on the side. The red potatoes were great as well. I was too full for dessert. But the baklava looked great. This was my first time here and I was impressed. I'll definitely be back.

(This native Southerner knows that Birmingham's got a bigger Middle Eastern community than you'd probably imagine.) There's no getting around it: Cincinnati has a serious shortage of relatively nutritious, reasonably priced, decent dining options. On those scores, Taziki's rings it up pretty good. The wife and I love Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food, and Taziki does a nice job with a generic Americanized version of it. Fresh salads, nice thick lemony hummus, pretty okay grilled meats, solid pita sandwiches. Not only tasty, but mostly pretty healthy eating as well. If you're familiar with these cuisines, it's not nearly the best you've had (and the limited sides are quite disappointing) but it's not at all bad, either. Service when we do go (usually lunch on weekends) has always been very fast. The staff is efficient and pleasant. Atmosphere and music are kinda bland, but it's agreeable enough, and the dining area seems spic-and-span. And the prices are reasonable (and when you find the Clipp Magazine coupons, like a pre-inflationary-era steal).

The atmosphere had a relaxed elegance without feeling fancy, and after coming straight from a loud reception, the calm setting with gentle music was exactly what we needed. The food was flavorful and tasty, the chicken was moist and deliciously seasoned, and the steamed vegetables were cooked perfectly without being mushy. We also enjoyed the Turkish tea after dinner, which was recommended to help with digestion. It was a strong black tea served in the cutest little glass cup with a handle, and we finished every drop. The staff was attentive, kind, and welcoming without being intrusive. Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable dining experience, and I'd gladly return.
