Food was good. Just why ask for our name if yr gona call a totally different name? Almost didn't know it was for us and our food sat there ready. Hot cocoa overly sweet, but soup was perfect. For the people who complain there are no employees in the lobby sometimes to take your order... uhhhh they have literally three kiosks to order from. Use yr noggins lol

This is what $13.29 gets you in August 2024.

This is what $13.29 gets you in August 2024. Absolutely crazy. It did taste good but not great. But I now need to come up with the other half of my dinner somehow. This is an emergency food option only. Otherwise, not coming back.

    Broccoli Cheddar Soup

this was whole baguette i got i did tear a bit on top but this was the entire size. i was to say it was an exceptionally good broccoli cheddar soup but for the first time trying a soup from panera their baguette is disappointing in size, especially since i got a bowl which is the bigger option.

Very small portion for $5.49. Might have cost them .25 cents at most.

Really good portions for ~$25. Can easily feed 3. They were generous with the ingredients, beef was fresh, I want to say it was brisket but cannot confirm. Broth was really good, and it kept warm from the flame on the bottom. Great experience, we will be regular, relatively authentic affordable Chinese/canto experience that I would never expect in chico. Please support! Great stuff!

We had kids with us, so we got there an hour before it became 21+. Everyone was friendly, the food came pretty quick relative to how hopping it was. We ordered: Pho-rench dip (w/fries)--I think this was a DDD sandwich, so it's not some hidden gem, but it was super tasty. You cannot go wrong. The slight lime-iness of the dipping broth really kicked it into turbo. Also, we all likes the steak fries--a note on that later. Chicken Cheese Steak (w/fries)--my wife loved it. I tried a bite, and it was great--a little mushroom-forward, but we like that. Mac and Cheese--do not be fooled by the slightly smaller bowl, it is very filling. My son can eat his birth weight in pasta, and he had to tap out! I tried a bite--it was creamy (not grainy at all), and was just the right amount of salty and cheese-funky. Grilled cheese and tomato soup (w/fries)--perhaps the least successful for my family, but only because my daughter prefers a smoky/spicy tomato soup, and this was more on the sweet side. The griled cheese was of the "crispy cheese on the outside" ilk, which my daughter thought was really good. So, totally would go again. IMPORTANT NOTE (to people traveling through Chico, or who don't want to take leftovers)--the sandwiches are pretty big, and the add-on fry order is also sizeable. If we were going again tomorrow, we would either order 1 fry instead of 3. Or split a sandwich. Very very good pub.

I would come back for that and sit at the bar! Service- absolutely awful. Our server, Hadley, was very cold, unwelcoming, unhospitable, never once smiled or even tried to fake excitement for having a guests. As someone who has been in the service industry for 20 years, I know first rule is drop your attitude at the door and be nice to the patrons spending their money. We came in to unwind and shake off some recent stresses in our life, she did a great job trying to spoil that for us.

The broth I think tastes the same so that's good. However, I noticed that the beef slices were so much tougher and dryer now. Previously, the slices were thin and slightly rare when coming out so they weren't over done. Now, the cuts are thick and chunky and much tougher to chew. Interestingly, they just dump the cilantro into the soup directly rather than have it on the side for you to garnish. They still provide a sizable pieces of tripe, which I like. The tendon is smaller and not as big chunks as before. Sadly, I left a bit disappointed. I might try again in another couple of months to see if they return to the previous level of quality.

They have a lot of seating available in their new location and just like the staff making you feel like family, it feels like you are visiting family in the restaurant. Food wise I am a picky fried rice eater, and I will say best fried rice I've had from any restaurant! My cousin ordered this lamb stir fry like dish and as someone who does not like lamb, I would order again! The meat was tender and flavorful through every bite and I'm sure that flavor will be for any meat you choose. Each dish has great balance of flavor and I enjoy the use of actual Thai basil in many dishes. Will definitely make this a returning trip and try all the items on the menu!
