There are plenty of options but choose this Panera if you're looking for a place to do work but want to get something significant to eat as well. After waiting in like for probably 10 minutes (not complaining, a busy morning is a busy morning) I settled on ordering a chocolate chip bagel with an orange juice and because I'm a terrible human being who can't refrain himself, I picked up a candy cookie which was basically just a giant cookie filled with fake m&m's. Went there on Friday ordered a Asian salad with chicken to go on my lunch break went out to my car opened it up and found a bug in it so I went back in showed it to the cashier she started arguing with me that it was not a bug that it was the salad dressing that I had not even put on my salad so I then showed her the bug again with legs and wings and she still denied it so I asked for a manager who came over and was not polite about it either offered me nothing until I finally told him I just wanted a refund at this point because I had to go so he grabbed my card and finally did that. After pedicure dinner. I tried to order at the kiosk but I didn't know my password so jumped in line. Ordered iced tea, chicken tortilla bowl and an add-on chicken cobb salad with an apple. It was about $16, yeouch! The order came out quick, it was correct and wow it was a ton of food! I think it was worth the price. Luckily I hadn't eaten all day so I was ready. I was impressed with the chicken tortilla bowl lots of good stuff in it around wonderful spiciness to it, I only wish that the line was a wedge and not a wheel it would have made it a lot easier to squeeze. The broth was a little salty. I think they should work on that but all in all it was a delicious bowl! My salad was on point too. Crisp romaine lettuce, bacon bits, tomato, chicken and avocado tossed in a green goddess type dressing. My tummy was very happy. I really enjoyed the plum hibiscus iced tea that I mixed with a little of the blood orange lemonade to give it a hint of sweet, very refreshing. Panera is always okay. I'm a huge fan of their tea selection and I think their coffee is super tasty. I definitely prefer Panera's drip to other chains. The location on Niagara Falls Blvd is nice; free parking and wifi was working well on the Saturday that I worked out of here. The soups and sandwiches are fine. Definitely some healthier options; Panera is definitely one of those cafe chains that I particularly like. I can't believe I made it 30 years without ever having Panera. What a life it's been. Anyways, the wife and I stopped in here a couple weeks back for breakfast. The line at the counter was very long and we were in a hurry so we used the kiosk. This was a cool system and the first time I'd seen anything like this in a Buffalo restaurant. I ordered a steak and egg sandwich on an everything bagel and took it to go. The steak was tough and not very flavorful. I guess maybe I should have known better than to order fast food steak. I rated it a 3 because of the sandwich not being great but also because the prices were a bit too high for my liking. My grilled cheese is often misshapen and SOGGY. A few friends and I were eating dinner here after hanging out, they were closing soon so we made sure to try to be as quick and easy as possible. Some of us got food and some just got cups for water. My friend and I went to go grab our food, she had ordered a drink and the rest of my friends and I just got cups of water which are smaller than the regular cup. As we were sitting down eating one of the workers (male, had a half up half down with a braid, and glasses) came over to us and proceeded to tell us that if we got "soda" one more time with our water cups that we would be kicked out and banned. He walked away before we could even respond telling him we had water in our cup, there were no fizz or bubbles, and it was a clear liquid. I would understand if he had a reason to say that to us but we only had water in our cups. He was so rude to us and didn't even give us a chance to explain ourselves before yelling in a very rude tone towards us. The experience was awful and we decided to just leave as he had ruined our night, he did not make us feel welcome at all. Absolutely awful experience and never returning back to this location. What can I say? I love Panera and always have ever since my days in Springfield MO when I knew it as Saint Louis Bread. There's tons of seating, the food is always good, and I'm a huge fan of their unsweetened brewed teas. I've been trying to cut back on soda and their unsweet teas have been a monumental help in that :) Panera is not what it used to be, but whatever. It's a place I can sit at for an hour or so, eat a vegetarian meal, enjoy the drinks, and work without distractions I might fact around the house or office. I will say, the wi-fi at this location is terrible. I always tether to my AT&T hotspot. I'm not saying that's a fantastic solution, but for about the past year it's been better than Panera's free wi-fi, since I'm paying for it with my plan anyways. I love Panera, and every now and then grab some lunch there. I usually get a you-pick-2 combo, however this time I come home with my to-go order to see an entire missing sandwich. I called the place and they refunded me the sandwich, but I still paid for the other half. The manager seemed very clueless on customer satisfaction. I mean, you could at least offer me a voucher or something for my next order, because I mean how do you forget a whole sandwich from an order, especially after it was manually double-checked on the receipt. Consistently good food, you can't really go wrong no matter what you pick. Nice smiling employees unless they are high school students. Free refills on 4 different kinds of coffee to choose from. I do a lot of work in coffee shops, and honestly I love that you can basically sit here all day long and the employees don't even seem to notice. They closed at 9pm. We got there at 7:30pm. All the lights outside were off. They were out all the baguettes to go with the soup. They offered us a slice of sandwich bread instead. I opted to buy a Asiago bagel as that was all they had out. They were actively and quickly packing all of the bakery up and putting it away so there were no other options. They had cut back on the menu so the caprese sandwich was no longer available which cut back on the vegetarian options. They told me caprese is seasonal and they haven't had it in a long time. I told them it is not seasonal and had been eating it for years year round, in fact I just bought it at that location 3 months earlier. They then informed us that all orders were in to go bags because they don't do dishes that late. After I ordered I stood by the pick area for 15 minutes while watching all the kitchen staff joke around about toc toc videos they like to watch. Two employees came and got in front of me to lean over the counter and chat. Then the two employees started playing patty cake. Yep patty cake in the dining room. Finally someone asked what I was looking for. I said my food. They asked my name and then told me they were waiting on the bagels. Then asked if I had the bagels. Then realized they forgot to go get the bagels. Soup was still hot luckily. We sat down to eat. The dining room was a mess. The employees continued to joke around and play. We left at 8:15. The food is the same as any other Panera. This review is all about the service I received on New Year's Day. I came in wanting a salad but something different. I usually just get the Caesar salad. When ordering, I asked if there were any bell peppers on the Thai Salad. I'm very allergic to bell peppers (weird, I know). The cashier said no. When I got my salad, I noticed there were bell peppers. I told the employees making the food and they were very apologetic and made me another salad. It turned out there were bell peppers in the edamame mix as well as the dressing. I wish I could remember who was making my salad but she was very nice about it. I ended up getting a revised version of the Thai salad which was lettuce with peanut sauce and peanuts. It was very delicious! I walked away without a reaction and a happy and full belly. Although, I was originally told there were no bell peppers in the salad, I was very pleased with how the issue was resolved and how helpful the employee was with making me a new salad. read more
