Chicken Alfredo
Michele M.

Solid pizza. Do love their crust. Topping tends to be a little on the light side. Got the chicken Alfredo pizza and was dry. But the flavor was good. They are a little pricey, and I would love to try one of their salads, but not at those prices.

This restaurant is one I usually order from once a week! I love their chicken Caesar wraps and pesto chicken pizza. Everything is freshly made in front of you and you can customize your orders.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I was really hoping for awesomeness. I saw the prices & thought, this pizza better be damn good. I don't have a lot of money, so when I say places are expensive or overpriced, it's because A- they are B- for people like me who live on SSI, places like this aren't very Affordable. I got the Pesto & Chicken 10" pizza. It was pretty good. Not enough pesto though. I could barely taste it. But it had big pieces of chicken on it, which was nice. My son got the Booming Buffalo Pizza & liked it a lot. He also got a pop, a fountain soda in a little plastic cup that was almost $3.00. Our pizzas were almost $12.00 each. "Crazy" So, for 2 small but yummy pizzas & a small pop, it came to almost $29.00 I left there still hungry. The employee wasn't very friendly either. It was pretty nice inside though. Lots of space. So, if u have money to blow, this place is great, if you're like me, it's nice to at least try someplace new once in awhile & probably not go back again.

Specialty wraps & create-your-own

After a late breakfast & missing lunch, an early dinner was in order. We arrived at 430, which was *perfect* because we had our food by the time the dinner rush arrived. The restaurant itself is large with several tables but not necessarily a good setup for groups. A TV was on one wall with Spectrum News playing. There are choices of Coke fountain drinks, a few bottled options, chips & pre-packaged desserts like crisped rice squares. The goal was to find somewhere to get a big salad with lots of "stuff". Lemme tell ya... mission accomplished. Choose from pre-designed salads or make your own by selecting your choice of greens, add-ins, protein, dressing and toppings. There are also make your own pizzas as well as pre-designed pizzas & wraps. My dining partner chose a make-your-own salad while I ordered Jon's Southwest salad. The staff was patient while we chose our options and figured out everything we wanted. It was tough not to want to order a pizza too, but I saved that for my next visit. What I thought was unique was seeing all the toppings added to the serving bowl, then dumped onto a flexible cutting board-lined "box" for chopping before mixing in dressing or adding to the side. It is pricey... $40 for 2 salads & 2 drinks, but, everything was crisp & fresh and delicious.

Nom nom!!! Love this place - love that it's local. The gluten free crust is crispy and delicious. They also have vegan options including cheese! It's also very clean and the staff is very friendly. Definitely coming back!

Booming Buffalo and Create Your Own Small Salad

Wish I got a large Boomin Buffalo pizza, every bite has a perfect mix of flavor. Their build your own salad has endless options of what you can put in it. I attached a photo of my receipt with everything I put in. My pick up order was ready when they told me it would be and the location is perfect to sit down and eat with friends.

Guns-N-Roses "Sweet Pie O Mine" They've got toppings it seems to me Reminds me of pizza memories Where everything was as fresh As the bright blue sky Now and then when I see their faces They notice I've got fat in different places And if they stare too long I'd probably break down and cry Oh-oh-oh! Sweet Pie O Mine Oh, oh, oh-oh! Sweet Pie O Mine They've got salads of the greenest kinds As healthy as the rain I love to look into my salad bowl And see those greens and grains The kale reminds me of a warm, safe place Where greenhouse bugs could hide And pray to lose weight again And for obesity to pass me by Oh-oh-oh! Sweet Pie O Mine Oh, oh, oh-oh! Sweet Pie O Mine What to get: CYO large salad w/kale What else: CYO pizza w/red sauce & fresh mozz Best service crew in America. By a distance. It's a pleasure to call them my wonderful friends. My fave healthy place in WNY - both locations I've visited. There really isn't anything like it in the region, it was needed. It p**ses the f*** over most create-your-own salad places (including the one it's modeled after, NYC's Chopt) because (a) the salads are huge, filling, (b) unlimited toppings instead of stingy pieces of sh**, (c) everything's as fresh as Outkast in "So Fresh, So Clean" And (D) because who doesn't love the (D). Skip the bland proteins. But then if you live in the rich burbs, any hint of spice will probably be a bad mix with the 57 prescription pills you're on, I know how it is, and I'm deeply sorry that Pumpkin Spice Lattes are gone, but they'll be back a few months along. Speaking of a few months along, your daughter's preggo again. So. Huge array of salad choices, they throw everything in a huge bowl, chop it all up, $8 or so. The more toppings, the bigger your salad. Get lots. If you have a really big salad like me, the girls (and boys) will love you. Oh wait I stopped talking about salads for a minute. But yeah. Some employees make the salads bigger than others. If you know what I mean. I know which employees will make it really, really big. Still talking about salad. It's perfect for somebody who's trying to eat healthy, and get a lot of greens in their system. Put kale in it. Get more dressing so you're less aware that you're munching a crapload of Kale. Come on, it won't kale you. Ha. Ha. Ha. For dressing, I just squirt olive oil on it, but Balsamic, or Chipotle Lime, or Greek, are all top notch. And the walls are covered in Fox puns. You'd think I own the place. Like I owned your mother last night. They also make surprisingly good pizza. Not a fan of this Chipotle "cooked while you wait pizza" (yes I know Chipotle doesn't make pizza stfu thx), but it's spectacularly good here. I'm not biased enough to deny when something tastes amazing. These do. They make that overrated, awful Pi Craft crap (if you like Pi Craft I don't like you so please stop reading and go to someone else's review) embarrassed to exist. They take Pi Craft's god awful concept and make it good. So yeah. Let's go get a microbrew. It's yummerific cuz they use good ingredients, as with the salad. Generous size. A million miles away from WNY greasy pizza. Don't get me wrong. Real Buffalo pizza wins. But on a scale from Franco's/Good Guys/Imperial/Bella at the high end, to Papa John's and licking the seat of a toilet (OK, nah, toilets aren't THAT bad), POM is closer to Franco's than the Peyton Manning end. And who wants to be close to Peyton's end, anyway. They're expanding to Cleveland, Florida, and this is their 2nd of 3 WNY locations. But because of the manager (Tim), because of the new mgr (Nia), and because of the incredible employees - none will ever be even half as good as this location. Now scuse me, I have to go destroy a Greens CYO Salad faster and with more reckless abandon than Biebs destroyed "Despacito." So last night a dude was tasting this PIE O MINE And he said "ew bro, u kno u taste like OLIVE BRINE" So I heeded his advice and set aside DOCTOR TIME Who then sent me urgenty to my OB-GYN I stripped down to my CALVIN KLEIN as my OB called me his VALENTINE He was from Jerusalem and kinda looked like KEVIN KLINE Not in Fish Called Wanda but "In & Out" (a FAVE OF MINE) So I let him bend me over and pretended he was GERTRUDE STEIN He was more Marvine Gaye than "I Heard It Through The GRAPEVINE" And told me that he wanted to excavate my GOLDMINE I felt more like a pony than m*****f***ing GINUWINE Then he Madonna'd (pushed his love over my BORDERLINE) I had mixed feelings so I called NBC's DATELINE Said "my Israeli GYN f***ed me like they f***ed PALESTINE And I felt nothing, cause he's tinier than LIECHTENSTEIN" They said "me too" and hung up - then I went to PIE O MINE WHAT* *No Israelis or Palestinians were harmed in the making of this review, despite Trump's best efforts

Salad Life (once a week or so)
Steven M.

After driving by Pio-O-Mike Greens for the last few months I figured now would be a good time to check it out. My girlfriend wanted to build a salad and even though it was almost physically painful to not order a pizza here......I also built my own salad. So similar to places like Pi Craft and Blaze, you basically walk up to the counter and build whatever kind of pizza or salad you want (if you haven't been to those places it's the same as Moe's or Chipotle). I started off with some ice berg lettuce and mixed greens, added some carrots, corn, American cheese, broken tortilla chips, onion, chicken (small upcharge on meats), and topped it off with some peppercorn ranch dressing. How was this delicious sounding salad you ask? Well, it was delicious! The dressing was fantastic and everything tasted great together! Overall, you definitely need to check this place out. The salads are fantastic and although I haven't tried the pizza yet, I will be very soon!

Undercooked bacon and unripe avocado

Ordered on Saturday afternoon. Items I ordered were missing from my salad and they were items I had to pay extra for. Bacon was undercooked and avocado was not ripe. I used to love this place, something must have changed there.

Cheese pizza. Very enjoyable.
Tony C.

One of my favorite lunch spots. I absolutely love the chop salads. So many toppings, lettuces, cheeses and dressings you can add to the salad. The large is absolutely huge and will fill you up. What is great about this place over getting salads elsewhere is the way they chop it. You get almost every ingredient in every bite, over getting one bite lettuce, one bite toppings at other places. Have had several wood fire pizzas there and they have all been tasty. A nice light crust that comes out piping hot. Thinking about it makes me want to go eat here now.

Fresh Chopped all Veggie Salad, Dressing on side

I haven't been this excited about a salad in a long time! Found this location while I was looking around Yelp and so happy that I did. Located in strip mall - easy parking. They serve made to order pizzas, salad, soups. I can't speak to the pizza but it's set up "Chipotle or Blaze" style where you pick out your sauce, toppings and they bake it right there for you. I have been several times now and have gotten the Large Salad - where you pick an unlimited amount of fresh veggies/fruits and there are some add-ons such as deli meats and avocado. They have several low calorie dressing options which is helpful to someone calorie counting and the crunchy toppers such as candied walnuts and seeds are no extra charge. Once you pick all your greens and toppings they chop it all up in front of you and then toss in your dressing then if you choose. They are not stingy with the toppings or the greens - they heap the portions and I have made about 3 meals out of each salad. Get 2 salad dressing sides, on the side so that it stays better in fridge. I personally loved the fat free spicy ranch flavor. If I lived closer I would be here at least weekly for these excellent fresh salads. I took my Mother with me last time and she also loved her salad too. They have a rewards program you can sign up for - Check them out!

Strawberry Fields salad

Like the concept that you pick a salad and they chopped it. The large number is huge I could have shared it. A tad pricey but for the portion you're going to have leftovers. The pita bread was dry and stale. I would have passed on that. Otherwise not bad. I'd go back and try the pizza.

I'm always on the lookout, keeping my ear to the ground, for great pizza places in Buffalo…read more Although sometimes, I just want to try some place new. I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.

This is an amazing pizza from the crust up. The crust is light, flaky, and so good. It's got a great balance between the crunch and the integrity of it to keep everything together. The sauce is great. The cheese and pepperoni balance each other out and add so much more flavor. The added ricotta and hot honey puts this over the top and gives it that amazing five star review. Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had…read more We ordered the San Felice Pizza -- San Marzano tomatoes, house-made sausage, sweet and spicy peppers, onion, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil -- and it was absolute perfection. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.
