My Grandson stopped over with a Grasso pizza and wings for a Sunday lunch. I used to take him there when he was younger and I lived in Lancaster and we loved it so its been awhile since we had one. When we opened the box the pizza looked great plenty of cheese great cup and char pepperoni nice thickness great treat. The wings was ordered exta crispy and when it got here they weren't I live less than 10 minutes away but I get it when they sit in the box they sweat they had nice heat and enough sauce. 5/5 every time. Pizza has a delicious sweet sauce and the best tasting cheese of any pizza shop. The chicken fingers are huge and loaded with sauce. Pro tip: dip the crinkle cut fries in the leftover finger sauce for an extra treat. Blue cheese is fantastic and the breadsticks are a nice side dish to all of it. Highly disappointing. Ordered gluten free chicken fingers. The fingers came with no blue cheese and 3 hot sauces. Granted I ordered hot sauce on the fingers but instead they gave me 3 large hot sauce containers, plain tenders and no blue cheese. Also the gluten free 5 piece came without anything. An amazing experience all around! After a review I left years ago, the daughter and new owner reached out to make things right. After messaging back n forth I was invited back to give the place another try which I did because of the genuineness of Sarah. The pizza was amazing as it has always been and the wings were too notch! The young man and woman who took my order over the phone and greeted me upon my arrival were delightful. The place wasn't too busy but others were using the drive thru pick up window which is genius! The place was clean and staff were terrific! I cannot wait to come back and try some other items off the menu! I highly recommend the cheese and pepperoni pizza! Waited 40 minutes then sat there for another half hour or so done here to pull around the building get out of my vehicle it's raining and snowing to get my order and I finally got the order and everything was cold. If they can take care of the customers why take so many orders when you can't fulfill them properly. Plus I had my father in the vehicle that has dementia. He's going to pay me to eat here ever again! Don't take the orders unless you can fill them properly like something simple hot food this was the worst food we've ever had. I have not ordered from Grasso's in years and decided I would give it a chance the other night. Well now I know why I do not go here. The only good thing I can say it that the pizza was mediocre at best. The char bbq wings were basically burnt and the smallest wings I have ever seen! The steak sub was not real steak if you know what I mean. Very soggy. Not a bad taste but will not be ordering anytime soon. My son ordered a half meatball sub and the paper it was wrapped in stuck to the sub, he had to throw most of the sub away as he was not eating paper. Very disappointed. Ordered pizza, chicken fingers, and breadsticks for Halloween dinner. Placed my order at noon for 5pm pickup. Order was ready by 5:06 pm. Everything was hot and fresh and absolutely perfect. Fingers were ordered plain with hot/bbq sauce on the side. Their hot/bbq sauce is a mixture of both sauces and it was incredible. This pizza is absolutely delicious with great work ingredients, hot slices always available and they even have a drive thru! Come on, how cool is it that they have a drive thru?!?! I love that. But as good as the pizza is, prepare to pay for it. Two slices go for $8.50, which is just honestly insane. TRUE VEGAN PIZZA ALERT!! And I don't mean a pizza with no cheese and no meat. No, I mean a pizza with vegan cheese and vegan meat!! And no, not frozen either--this vegan pizza is made fresh at a local pizzeria!! WHOA!! :-O I recently came to Grasso's for lunch with my vegan daughter, our gluten free friends, and myself a vegetarian. We were all dietarily-accommodated and fully satisfied by Grasso's pizza. We wanted to dine-in and hangout, and Grasso's has six comfortable booths in their clean, bright, and casual restaurant. When the weather is nice, there are also several outdoor tables. Of course takeout and delivery is available too, plus they have a drive-thru pickup. My daughter and I shared a small vegan pizza, which was plenty big for two people, plus leftovers. We went with vegan pepperoni and half-black-half-green-olives for our toppings. The vegan verdict? ... The vegan pepperoni are delish'! They crisp up nice a little bit in the pizza oven. The vegan cheese is pretty good, about as good and melty as you can get a vegan cheese. The dough was a thicker, chewy dough topped with a savory sauce. I was just tickled that Grasso's has vegan cheese and meat. My teen vegan daughter was all smiles, too! Our gluten-free friends also enjoyed their pies. They had a small plain cheese, and a small cheese and mushroom gluten-free pies. The gluten-free crust at Grasso's is a thin cauliflower crust. My GF-friends reported it to be crisp and tasty. A small gluten-free pie is enough to share between two people, or perhaps for one very hungry gluten-free eater. And, if you are both vegan and gluten-free, Grasso's CAN combine pies and make a small vegan AND gluten-free pizza in one!! You'd be hard-pressed to find any other pizzeria in Buffalo that can do that, with vegan cheese and vegan meat on a gluten-free pizza crust. So if you need that dietary restriction combo, Grasso's is your place for a satisfying and accommodating fresh pizzeria pie. Overall we had a really great experience at Grasso's. The staff was very friendly. Sara, the owner herself, came over to our tables to ask how we were enjoying everything, and we had a really nice chat. She is vegan, and goes above and beyond to provide a quality vegan pizza. But, for omni-eaters, you are not excluded from Grasso's, as Grasso's of course carries traditional meat and dairy cheese pizzas, wings, the usual pizza place sides, and everything coming out of the kitchen looked really delicious. Next time we're in, my daughter and I are definitely trying the vegan Buffalo chicken pizza. And our gluten-free friends are onto the glute-free chicken fingers next. What a treat for someone who doesn't eat meat nor dairy to find a local place offering VEGAN pizza! And not just one menu option either, but several to choose from. We ordered the Buffalo chick'n pizza and got a large to really stuff ourselves. Wait time was a little long but it was nice and hot when we picked it up and got it home. We found it to be a little greasy, but I do feel that non-dairy cheese is a bit more oily since it's usually made with a lot of oil. The taste was amazing!!! Vegan blue cheeze, hot sauce, vegan mozzarella, what more could you ask for?!? We only wished the crust had been a bit thinner and crispier on the bottom, but that's our preference for pizza in general, not a complaint against Grasso's. I will say that when we heated the two remaining slices the next day for lunch it actually tasted even BETTER than the first day. It was amazing! We seriously considered putting in another order when we drove by just to have it leftover a few days later. Thank you Grasso's for having options for everyone! At 47 years old, I've had my worst meal of my life. First, the Greek sub. As you can see the roll was just a little burned. There may have been two shreds of feta cheese. Absolutely no dressing on the sub or chicken. It was just blah tasteless chicken. A few olives and onions, but this sub is on life support. Never have I had a sub minus ingredients and flavor. Next...the nachos. On the description it says salsa and nacho cheese. It had NO salsa, NO nacho cheese and literally three pieces of meat. Oh, but they were so kind to throw on a pinch of shredded cheese that wasn't even melted. I asked for onion rings that were crispy. Apparently other places have super fryers because they told me it couldn't be done. They were so flimsy and soggy that I couldn't swallow a bite. The turkey sub was okay. It looked like someone sat on it but at least it was average. We called to complain but the woman on the phone had as much interest in our complaint as a thief doe's about what he stole. I had a gluten free pizza. It is so hard to find a good gluten free pizza that isn't a cauliflower crust. But I saw a post that bragged about how good the gluten free pizza was. So I ordered one instantly. To my surprise they were not kidding when they bragged about the pizza. I ordered a gluten free pepperoni pizza and it was the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. You would never even notice it was gluten free. The sauce is incredible, the cheese is the cheesiest and it is cook to perfection. My husband even enjoyed it very much. I cannot wait to try the tenders. They take every precaution to make sure no cross contamination is happening right down to not even cutting the pizza so they don't contaminate it. It's more savory than sweet (type 1), and makes you wish they sold it in cans, so that just in case The Walking Dead became a reality, you could shack yourself up a in your basement and exclusively consume their sauce for sustenance. You'd die anyways, undoubtedly, but you'd die a beautiful death. Their pizza is COATED in delicious, melted cheese and char-cup pepperoni. The only shortcoming is the dough. I ordered pizza and wings here twice for pick up. Thought it was really cool that they have a drive thru available for pick up orders only, today was my first time using it. As I sat there waiting for five minutes for someone to notice me I started thinking about how lazy I was and how much faster I would have been taken care of if only I went inside to grab my order like the first time I visited. I ordered them extra crispy because I don't like the skin of the wings to be gummy. They were cooked perfectly, tasted good! I have only tried their cheese and pepperoni pizza. Their pepperoni is crispy. The first time I ordered the pepperoni were perfectly cooked, charred around the ring and cupped with grease inside they way a good pepperoni should be! The second time they were slightly cupped/crispy but still good. I like their cheese and sauce, they don't skimp on the cheese and the sauce is sweet. For both orders, I ordered a small pizza and the pie was a little doughy in the middle... to be honest, tasted better when I threw it in the oven for a couple minutes but I shouldn't have to ya know?!
