Ordered on Halloween night for the first time. Quoted 25-30 minutes and the pizza and wings were ready when I arrived. The service was amazing, they literally carried it to my car! Now to the food. I always do take out, never delivery. Usually place my order thru the Slice app. With that being stated, I can honestly say, I do NOT understand the bad reviews on here. Maybe the owner is a little too authentic, old-school Italian for some, but I take that as a positive any day... One of the few spots left in my immediate vicinity in South Buffalo to try, I was pretty happy with how things turned out. First when I went to pick up the order it was $30.40 for their Large Pie and double order of wings special. Its a pretty average price, but I handed the guy $40 and he gave me a $10 back saying close enough. Not a big deal but it definitely had me start with a positive view of the place. It's nice to know they are not penny pinching, because who wants that with their restaurant. The pizza was good. Its a typical Buffalo style in terms of dough and cheese thickness. The sauce isn't to sweet like some places use. And pepperoni weren't to spicy which my kids sometimes complain about. I really liked the crust on this one too. The wings were not anything mind blowing, but were decent. I get half hot and half plain always and the hot were still good and crispy when I picked them up. I've seen quite a couple online complaints about customer service at Emergency... and let me just say that's definitely not the experience I've had tonight. First off, hallelujah I have finally found a *local* late night pizza joint. Anyway, my brother, father, and I walked into the pizza place about 12:15AM. We probably ordered the food (a calzone and a slice) about five minutes later and were told twenty minute wait - no big deal. About 12:50, we still hadn't gotten our food and at this point we're obviously very restless (pacing, looking into the kitchen). However, we're trying to be patient because truly an extra ten minute wait time still isn't even close to terrible service - but by the way the staff reacted to our "inconvenience" when they noticed you'd think they had committed a crime! Seriously, after many profuse apologies, refunding us nearly our entire order amount, a free 2ltr pop, and an extra calzone(!!!!)(I guess there was a mishap in the kitchen so they let us keep it) and slice, we left there at probably 1AM completely blown away at their kindness. They went above and beyond. I kept asking if they were sure, I couldn't believe it! Okay, but the food. Calzone was HUGE. Slices were of good size, too. Good bang for your buck. Everything tasted decent. Wasn't a huge fan of the red sauce but I'm extremely picky about red sauce so keep that in mind. Bottom line is that I really have to give major props to the staff tonight. Beyond amazed by how my family was treated. I'll definitely be back to try more food. read more

These jerks charged me $39.58 for 2 large cheese and pepperoni pizzas?!!! This place is a rip off. If you have ever worked with pizza dough and you let it sit out too long it forms a crusty layer on the outside. Then when you cook this dough you can tell by looking at the bottom. I ate less than half of a single slice of the pie. The dough was raw and too thick even though I requested a thinner, thin crust. The toppings were raw on one half and the cheese burnt on the other. I called back and requested that they remake the pizza. I explained that I had ordered and requested a thin crust, NY style pizza. I explained that the toppings were raw and the cheese burned. They said they would remake it... Which I give them credit for, however, the remade pizza was far worse than the original. Again the cheese was burned and the dough raw. There was no change in the crust. Once again I contacted them to say I was disappointed. They hung up on me three different occasions and I had to block my number before they answered my call. When I finally got on the phone with them again, I was told that they didn't know how to make a thin crust pizza and would be returning my money (thanks), and sending me the pie they had just made even though it wasn't right. I did get my money back, but when the delivery driver returned, it was with cash only. Not that I wanted to eat a raw dough, burnt crust pizza anyway. Do you? Emergency pizza is right... Emergency pizza is one of two places, that you get a Steak Hoagie Pizza, in this area. For you steak hoagie lovers you have to try this pizza. I always order a large and can only finish 2 slices. My wife and I ordered a pizza after our daughter went to bed..it was late as usual but they treated us like a drunk order, the lady who delivered our pizza was dressed in a apron which she was making food with which isn't sanitary. And our total bill was $6 more then what the menu said. According to the "manager" they charge a $4 deliver char (which isn't stated anywhere on there menu or online) and after 11pm they charge a xtra 4% meal tax because it's just so hard to make a pizza after then!!
