I really like their food and rapid pick up service. The only problem is I have ordered different sandwiches and they all smell and taste like pickles, even though they're not on the sandwich. There's some kind of cross contamination happening with the preparation. I don't have this problem with soups or salads. I hope they fix this because otherwise the sandwiches would be delish. It's always good and perfectly made to order. 1) Today I placed an order to be taken to my table. 30 mins after I placed it I realized it had not come. I was working and couldn't stop and I really hoped my order would come. It never did. I had to stop my work and go to the front with my phone. She was nice and I got my order...an hour later... The manager was bussing a booth near me so I mentioned it to him so he can handle this with the staff. His response was oh they must have thought it was a pick up. Really??... the words Dine in and Pick up are clearly visible. Don't make excuses for your staff. Brushing over this is part of the problem. How will the staff be mindful if the manager makes excuses.?? 2) I went through drive through and the order taker was stumped about avocado and seemed annoyed when I asked the price. It's a simple request. I hope she didnt spit on my food. 3) I went to this location on Wed and 2 co workers were complaining about their GM and Manager...no names..no specific. They were not happy. And I looked for a clean table and alas the only table with an outlet was next to them and it was dirty. So I had to clean my table with them just feet away. 3) I have been coming to this Panera for a few months. While the previous incidents are specific the next challenge is unfortunately consistent. I place my used plate and utensils on the far edge of the table for easy pick up. The workers clean tables...sometimes.. one even swept.. wow.. and none of them have ever taken my plate! Seriously, I see you in front of me...next to me taking dishes from other tables. Why are mine left behind?! 4) It's usually extremely cold inside. If yelp gave me the option to rate 0 stars this Panera location would get a ZERO. The services is in unlike any service I have experienced at any Panera. On a previous visit a this location they had no bread so when rather than waste your time asking what bread you want it be much faster to ask what minimal selection they have. Secondly when they are out of bread instead of offering you a different selection as a side they simply don't bother and you the customer should ask and get attitude back in response. Lastly which occurred tonight at 7pm. I traveled to store to find that drive thru was closed. Store hours indicate store and drive thru have same hours. Ok FIRST THINGS FIRST: if I give you 12 pennies and a $20 bill it is so I get all cash back. IF YOU DROP A PENNY DURING THE DRIVE THRU EXCHANGE DONT SAY ITS FINE AND THEN PROCEED TO GIVE ME 99 CENTS IN CHANGE. No it was in fact NOT FINE and I would have either picked up the penny you dropped or got another one. The point was I was trying to get rid of loose change so giving me back an entire dollar in change basically was idiotic. Use your brain. Honestly although this was annoying, I was mad because I came here for Mac and cheese ONLY! Granted it was almost closing time but they basically said they had soup and salads left. This Panera has problems only at 9:00 in the morning, first the tables outside are always dirty, the microwave was covered in food, we got served cold food and coffee. We had to warm up our own food in the microwave, there was also no creamer for coffee and there are maybe 10 customers inside eating...not busy at all. Just because this panera is in a "not so great area" doesn't mean they have to drop to that level also. read more

This is my favorite healthy fast food. I usually order the steak and arugula sandwich which is about 500 calories but very filling, I eat half and save half for later. The drive thru is a little slow but hey, they're making your food fresh, and it's worth the wait. I highly recommend the Turkey Chili which is not offered year round but just made its comeback for the fall season. The teas are pretty good and they have a nice selection of smoothies if that's your thing--or your kids' thing. This is a brand new location and so far the only issue I've had is that the app went down, during the lunch hour no less, due to "system maintenance." That's not really a local problem. I love ordering my dinner for pick up during the day using the Rapid Pick Up option on the app or website so all I have to do is pick it up on my way home at the time I select. If you haven't tried Panera yet, give it a shot! They have delicious pastries to nosh on while you make use of their free WiFi. Enjoy! read more

I ordered a steak, egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel with chipotle spread. When I cut into my sandwich in my car, (because the air conditioning is too strong at this location), the meat was still too raw and the bottom half of my sandwich was layered in blood. Also the cheese was not melted because the meat was not hot enough. I went back in and they fixed me up a new sandwich, but forgot to put the spread on and with noticeably less meat. I don't know how long I waited because the manager had to go in the back and ask, "is it ready yet?" To which it was, but nobody called my name. I asked for a bag because they just gave me the box and I needed new silverware and condiments to carry out. She gave me a bag much too small and I had to request the standard size for my box. Worst Panera Bread experience thus far. 1 star for an unsatisfactory sandwich, for wasting my time, for putting less meat in the second time, (I had a few bites with no meat at all, and for poor customer service from the team. Came in and staff didn't look very friendly. Didn't receive a "hi welcome" like most places do.The staff seemed to be having personal conversations instead of taking my food order. After a few minutes of waiting I ordered half soup and half Chipotle avocado chicken sandwich and was told the cheese it normally comes with had ran out. They gave me a different cheese and charged me extra for the substitute cheese. How the heck are you going to charge extra if your making me choose a different cheese because you ran out of the normal cheese my sandwich comes with. Once my order came to my table I notice my soup was missing my half sandwich. Rachel, the one who dropped my food off appologize and came back with my sandwich. They were also out of most condiments. It seems like they're having a tough time getting started. They were out of straws, even though there's several stores that sell straws that are walking distance. My steak and white cheddar sandwich was definitely subpar, considering it cost about $11. About 1/3 of the sandwich was actually covered in "steak", the rest piled high with onions and some sort of horseradish sauce. This Panera was EXTRA SPECIAL because it has a drive through! I've never seen a Panera with a drive through before. I got the tuna sandwich this time, and let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed. And the chocolate chip cookies...AMAZING! The staff is generally nice and work with you for prepared meals if you are requesting "vegan" or similar. They've been helpful and patient. I'm a big fan of their Baja grain bowl, which is very delicious. It comes with a French baguette. I admire this restaurant! They give splendid dishes, their menu is rich, The cook in that place is a professional, I love very much eating all their dishes. The food is consistently of high quality, the attitude towards the customers is very good too. When you're in the mood for a quality sandwich, soothing soup, or a super salad, this is always a good bet. Location is clean, comfortable, and convenient. I'm a huge fan of baked goods on display. I like the menu that Panera Bread offers and perhaps dining in would be a better experience. Had drive through today and was so disappointed and grossed out by the experience. What happened was the lady that took the order at the drive through was also the same lady that made my order. I really wished they have some segregation of duties that one person is assigned to take order and the others are responsible to make the order. When i was waiting at the window, I saw her touching her headset and a touch screen that looks like a cash register or order screen while she was preparing my order without taking off the glove!!! That's really not acceptable as who knew what kind of germs there are on these objects. I don't want to specify the time that i ordered so the management can trace who did it but i hope the management can provide reminder and training to their staff on how important it is to prepare food without touching other things to avoid contamination. They really should have separate person for taking order/accepting payment and making food. I ended up throwing my order away. What a waste and their sandwich is not cheap!! read more

I ordered online for a fast pick up. When I arrived I noticed my bag was off to the side on the counter instead of the regular pick up location. I didn't think much of it just thought maybe one of the items I ordered wasn't ready. Didnt look like that was the case because as I stand right In front of the pick up box a worker went and left it as if it was ready. I didn't check my order as I was in a rush and only ordered two items. When I got home I noticed one of my items was missing. I called and the gentleman I spoke with said he was sorry the worker was supposed to tell me that they had ran out of the item I ordered and he would refund my money. I never received my refund. Not the only time they've forgotten partial of my order but I normally go back and pick it up. But considering I was in pain from an accident I was in no condition to go back and forth. These employees need to be retrained to read and pack orders correctly. read more

I was very excited to try Panera Bread for the first time. Their on line menu looked so enticing and yummy. I ordered the four cheese grilled cheese sandwich because it looked absolutely delicious and filled with lavish cheese. But, wait a minute, that was in photos only! The sandwich I ordered looks nothing like the photos. It was four small toasted bread with tiny weeny bit of cheese on it. Where are the four cheese ingredients they advertised for this sandwich that cost $7.99? I could get better grilled cheese sandwich at a local school cafeteria. I asked to speak to the manager, and here came this young man with little management skills. I politely questioned him why this sandwich looked totally different from the photos on the menu. And this was his reply, "We measured and put the same amount of cheese on every bread. But, since the specialty bread that you ordered is a little bigger than the original bread; therefore, you dont see cheese melted on to the side." Are you kidding me? I couldn't believe that was his answer. I opened the spread and pointed out to him, "I don't see any cheese in here, but do you?" A manger with good customer service skills would gladly apologize and have the kitchen make a new plate. The bottom line is I have no problem spending $8 on a grilled cheese sandwich. But I do have a problem if the food looks nothing like what it advertised. read more
