The place is clean and organized but the service on the pick up side is terrible. I ordered a large broccoli soup and a large chicken Ceasars salad and had to wait 15mins. It wouldn't been a problem if it wasn't for the buzzer going off. I didn't know I had to go to the other side to pick up. I get there and it's no food. I asked the young lady about the order and she put two orders up top. Neither order was mines. I let her know that and she look at the bag and say it says broccoli soup. I'm go looking for the young lady who took my order but didn't find her. She was nice at least. I go back to the pick up side and a manager or trainee picked up the 1st two orders she was pushing on me. A minute later she put my order up top but never said a thing although she knew I was looking for that order. My sick wife wanted soup from here is tge only reason I stopped. I won't be back. Decent location near the Hubert sports fields. Note that there's a sign saying no cleats so be sure to bring a change of shoes. Ordered on the app because the line is always very long at Panera. The food came out right when it said it would come out. Only annoying thing about the app is that you have to get baked goods and drink cups from the order counter and i always feel bad interrupting the people trying to take orders. My Greek goddess salad and chicken and white rice soup was delicious as usual. The bread could have been fluffier. The interior is a bit dim and on the smaller side. We have been going to Panera at different locations for over a decade and always liked the food. The last couple of times, not so much. We went there for lunch and they were out of tuna and cheddar soup. LOL. It's like going to a steakhouse and being told they are out of steak. Poor planning. We went there a couple of weeks ago and the food was terrible. The soup that used to be creamy and delicious was watery and not so tasty, and to make it even worse, lunch for 2 cost $28. This is purely a tomato bisque soup rave and review. I've had a cough for 5 weeks now and while I'm not a big soup fan, I love Panera's tomato bisque. In ordered through delivery and was scared it wouldn't travel well, but it was packaged well and still taste great. I also ordered a grilled cheese which I popped in the air fryer and everything taste like I dined in. Panera isn't story close so I've ordered soup twice over the past couple weeks and always great. The employees are always pleasant and I always see a man cleaning the tables in here. I have done pickup here before as well with no issues. I came with my wife and daughter last night on 11-11-23@8:22. We wanted 3 soup bowls ... We were told, " We don't have any soup bowls or any baguettes. " .. The place was not designed with flow in mind; single-seater bathrooms, and the pick-up area and fountain drink area get crowded really fast, even for people who want to walk by. Food is good, but expensive, and they're often out of something or other (it's what you get with a place that makes its own bread). If you care about clean food, it's a great place. The food is delicious, but it's expensive for a cafe. The internet works, and they have a good pick-up option. The service is inconsistent. Some of the workers are delightful, and some clearly would rather be elsewhere. All in all, I wouldn't say to go out of your way, but nor would I turn you away. Probably one of the most awkward and uncomfortable encounters I've had at a restaurant. Me and my husband walked in and was not greeted by a single worker. Then we walked to the register and the cashier just stared at me. So I said hi, and began to order, then in the middle of me ordering she just said "hold on" and walked away. I assumed that they are out of something. So I waited for her to return. She let me know they were out of what I wanted. Which is fine, cause I know that it has been hard to get products. Normally when I go in, I get the half and half sandwich and salad (or soup if it's winter), and that's what I got today, but it was way different. They hooked it up. I rarely eat inside this location considering this is where every house wife for miles comes to stake their ground on the patio or pile inside letting their kids run around like its Chuck E Cheese! Check please... I love their asiago bagels, frontega chicken and my co-worker is addicted to their steak salad that is really roast beef but she loves it anyway. You can't beat their fresh bread selection for take home and the pastries and cookies. I am an office hit when I walk in with a to-go coffee jug and a box of bagels. The patio area is perfection with over sized umbrellas, comfortable chairs and large tables. The staff offers drink refills, cookies and free apples. Receipt says I paid for 16 oz size smoothie. I picked it up and questioned it and an employee said thats the size it goes in then I pointed to the receipt and showed him that it says to make a 16 oz size. He said thats a smoothie and it goes in, I was so sure it was not 16 oz that I measured it when I got home. Not a huge deal but it still disappoints me that I gave them the opportunity to fix a small mistake. They don't honor curbside during a pandemic, they advertise it but still expect you to come inside to get your food. She had the nerve to tell me that i could have just come in and get it. The Acworth Panera is trash. They just cannot get it together. The little high school girls making the sandwiches don't even bother to bring the to-go orders to the shelves when they're ready, much less do a curbside order. I stood by the counter and had to call out for the girls goofing off in the back to hand me my bag which I could see on their side of the counter. I get home and open my sandwich, and only half the sandwich had chicken on it. There were no grapes in the chicken salad and it was clear that the lettuce was the "meat" of the sandwich. I tried calling up to the restaurant numerous times and nobody answered the phone. So now, scheduled to have my son to baseball in 30 minutes, I have to go back up to the restaurant in rush hour traffic to get my refund. I don't have time to have anything remade correctly. The manager does issue a refund, but being experienced in customer service, she should have offered to do more especially when I told her I wouldn't be back. The Panera Bread location on Cobb Pkwy, Ackworth GA deserves a 6 star rating for it's superior customer service and maintenance of their facilities. The sandwiches, soups, Flatbread pizzas and bakery goods are always fresh and delicious. The staff as well as the management are exceptionally welcoming (e.g. Assistant manager, Sydney Templeton). My wife and I drive from Marietta to this location because we feel valued as customers and are treated with respect. This is also the cleanest location of all the other places we have visited (John and Poppi keep the dining room clean and in order and have often refilled our coffees and helped with other tasks). I recommend this Panera to everyone who has the opportunity to visit this location. read more
