I'm loving this new little addition to Eugene's restaurant scene. It's counter service, so be prepared to wait in line and know what to order. It was busy but the service was super efficient and I didn't have to wait long for my food. Specifically the bartender was so friendly and on top of things! This is a small place but the outside seating is so cute and comfy if you're able to snag a table or seat the bar-top outside. They have heaters and a very cute fireplace. I got the braised beef and shrimp tempura taco. The shrimp tempura taco was my favorite but the braised beef was also amazing. The guacamole here is nothing special. Chips are okay. Drinks are good! Wow- Pandita was understaffed on a Thursday night and the server and cook did an amazing job serving everyone. We were advised of a possible delay and we appreciated that. Our table was disinfected as we arrived and we were given complimentary chips and guacamole for the wait. Our guava margaritas were delicious as well as the chips and guacamole- so fresh! Our tacos were all outstanding, loved the crunchy shells and shredded chicken. We will return when we come back to Eugene! read more

Let me start by saying, we ate our way through Oregon when we visited. Which was our plan. We had heard about all the yummy places. However, Pandita is on an entirely different level. Hands down, the best food we had during our trip. We loved it so much, we ate there three times during our 7 day visit. First and foremost, the staff at Pandita are the kindest people and take so much pride in what they are doing. You feel like family from the second you walk in. There is so much love poured into the preparation and details and it's evident from the first bite or the first sip of their yummy hand crafted tequila cocktails. Our favorite, by far, was one of their specials.. the Salmon Tostada. Do not miss out on these bad boys when they have them. *Insert chef kiss*. I love what they've done with this small, unique space that sat empty for all of my prior Eugene years including the jam bands and surf videos. Welcome to Eugene, Pandita! It's about time a new business took over this corner spot near downtown Eugene. I was excited to try this place when I saw a few artists painting a mural on the side of the building and cute outdoor seating on the patio. When I found out they were slingin' tacos and margaritas, my excitement escalated to a whole new level. The service here is on point. I think we were helped by one of the owners and she was patient with us while guiding us through the menu. I totally appreciate this with new businesses or just in general if I'm a new customer. We ordered two tacos and one margarita but then our eyes glanced at the appetizer section. Waffle fry nachos??? She told us the half order was a generous size and she was right. The half order is enormous but so delicious. Melted cheese with toppings on crispy waffle fries is what hangover dreams are made of. I enjoyed the margarita as well, it was perfectly tart and they have a few different margarita options. The only feedback I can give is that I wish the waffle fries came out before the tacos but it wasn't the end of the world. Fresh and yummy! This will be my replacement for Tacovore. Only negative is it's on a busy road but the space is really inviting.

Pandita is worth the visit to this little corner of downtown. It's right between the crowds of campus and the epicenter of downtown, and I hope that means it's never slammed like some of those places can be. We tried it midafternoon on a Sunday in December, so it was especially not busy, which was great because we didn't have to fight for any seating, the interior seating is limited to perhaps 20 people. There are tables outside under heat lamps and a fireplace, and that was really nice! That can be a bit of a problem for them with travelers that want to warm up, it's exactly what we saw happen with a woman bringing her cat up to the fire even though she wasn't a customer. Anyway, we basically tried all the tacos, the queso and guacamole, pandito fries and I got the adobo chicken bowl. It was all delicious! It's not the best queso I've ever had but it's more like the flavor of street corn queso. All of the tacos seemed to be good, but overall the chicken was the favorite. I really liked my adobo bowl, served in a large metal mixing bowl. They do have three levels of heat in their homemade salsas, kept in a small drink fridge next to the self-serve water, but they also brought out an even hotter salsa with the tacos. The service was quick and relaxed and friendly. Will definitely return, the street tacos here are bigger than tacovore's and more variety, for about the same price. read more

This is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in quite some time! Everything we had was incredibly tasty, complex and absolutely delicious! The braised beef Korean taco was my favorite; you are missing out if you don't order it. It was followed by the Pandita Salad, which came in at a close second. The smashed black bean tostada was unbelievably amazing, especially given that it is normally such a simple, not-at-all-noteworthy dish at other restaurants. But it shined at Pandita. The adobo chicken taco (which usually comes with a hard taco shell, but I requested a soft one), was delectable. Happy hour specials, drink specials of the day, cheap Mexican beer...worth every cent for the measly $6 for my raspberry habanero margarita. It was as good as it sounds. My daughter and I were visiting Eugene and the University of Oregon from out of state. She chose this restaurant, and I'm so glad she did! I was so pleasantly surprised by a delightful meal on the patio with great service and beautiful weather. I was lucky enough to get the last order of Salmon Tostadas and I'm telling you, I haven't stopped thinking about them since. They were amazing and one of the best things I've eaten in ages! One of our friends had one of every single taco & said his favorite was the Korean style braised beef! The salad dressing is to die for with a wonderful combination of toppings. So delicious as always but half the time they will get your order wrong if you are ordering in person. Best to order online in my experience. Had to ask for the receipt back since our whole order was wrong, and it turns out she put it all in wrong... so either talk extra loudly or really double check that they got ur order right. We ordered three crunchy tacos, two carnitas and one bean and cheese, and queso. We got guac instead (my bf is allergic to avocados) which was upsetting since we can't eat it but then when we got our tacos and none of them were crunchy and one was not even the filling we ordered. We ordered chips and salsa which took over 10 minutes to be brought out to the table, a bit annoying but easy to look past. The food came out a good 15 minutes after that; four tacos, nothing else. Other orders came out quickly for other guests, but ours seemed to lag. After waiting a generous amount of time for the food I expected something hot at the very least. Cold tortillas on a taco is an absolute Cardinal sin, immediately reminding you of a fast food breakfast burrito. The fillings of the actual tacos were okay, they are missing some salt and spice, especially the carnitas. We had a private celebration for graduation from the University of Oregon with a group of 70 people at Pandita. It could not have been more perfect! Their tacos are absolutely delicious! Awesome chips and guacamole, and their margaritas are incredible! Working with the owner, Amy, to organize the event was so easy. She was incredibly accommodating, and her staff was great! I can't recommend this place highly enough whether it's just lunch for you and some friends or you're looking for a unique and special place to together and celebrate something.
