The food was fantastic, the staff friendly, service fast. I had the pork tamales, my husband had the chili rellano, and we were both blown away. The tamales were tender with huge chunks of pork, and came with beans and rice. The chili was "frickin amazing". We will.come back next time we visit Eugene. read more

Everything we have tried here has been fantastic. It's not a fancy dining experience, but it feels warm and welcoming, the service is good, and the place is kept impeccably clean. It's become one of our favorite places to go when we're eating out. New little mom and pop spot with great customer service and yummy food! Portion sizes were generous and you can tell the food was made with love. I got the camarones al ajillo (shrimp in garlic) and it was incredibly flavorful. My partner got camarones rancheros and said he'd never had anything like it - in a good way! If you haven't came and tried this place you need to! I only ever want to eat at places where the food is made by people that care and love what they do and you can feel that here. In the service, in the food and in the care for what they do. I want to see this place filled with people because they deserve it. Los 2 Paquitos' is now one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. We wanted a Mexican meal when driving on I-5, and chose this on a whim as we drove. IT was so worth it! Good food reasonably priced. The salsa was a standout, and different with a slightly different flavor, and not too hot or mild. We bought extra salsa to take home, it was that good. Family friendly, fun ambience and informal. I might as well rip off the bandaid: the tacos are tiny and the chicken tastes like cat food smells. Gross. The carne asada tacos were a little better, though also tiny and somehow cold even though they came out at the same time. The quesabirria tasted better, although the broth was pure grease, which again, gross. Anyone who gives this place less than 5 stars is impossible to please. The food is fantastic, and the service is incredible. Everything is made from scratch with love and skill. We eat here at least once a week, and I have been working my way through the entire menu, and have not been displeased. The torta here is by far the best in town. The basic dishes are kept pretty mild, so anyone can enjoy them. However, the red and green salsas cause an almost alchemical reaction that brings out all the flavor, and you can take the heat to any level you like. Amazing food, and amazing people. This place is amazing and very authentic! The couple that own it have a beautiful love story and are living their dream to own and run this restaurant. The food took me back home to Tijuana where I grew up and my boyfriend and I both got some tacos to try it out and I 100% will be coming back here on the regular!
